As we journey through this uncharted territory I ask that you just look. Questioning and touching will disturb the balance in this realm. It takes a very unique mind to see things with such beauty and creative glory, therefor you have been warned I ask that you keep your arms and legs in at all times, as we take this journey through the other side of the photo lense and into a small piece of the mind of Brynn Perkins. Feeding My Linebacker

Leo has passed the 8 month threshold, and this tiny tank (contradiction) weighs in at a solid 22 pounds. This household is not use to the solid girth that is this baby. To put it into perspective our sweet Cam weighed in at 19 pounds when she was a year old. She didn't get to 22 pounds until well after a year and a half.

This boy has an appetite for not only adventure but FOOD! I feed him a full cup of baby food mixed with whole wheat rice (baby food is too runny for Leo) 4 times a day and then he tops off that meal with a nice wash down of an 8 ounce bottle. No, I am not exaggerating. I feel that he will in return for the massive quantity in sustenance that he is taking in, will grow to be a professional hockey player. So as his mother it is my duty prep him for his prime time. So bring on the squash and cheers to the milk, for my baby will being go pro!

Cam dressed as a bad girl

As I'm cleaning today Cam comes in driving her remote control car. As you can see she has a necklace on her head and a bracelet on, but I truly don't question my little lady's wardrobe (I pick my battles only when necessary) so this isn't an odd thing in my home. She looks at me and says, "aren't you going to ask me about my headband?" she asked in the most appalled tone. I quickly apologized and asked about her headband. And this is her rebuttal, (disclaimer: I still have no idea what she is talking about, this was one of those smile and nod moments) "I'm dressed like a bad girl Mom! See look at my bracelet and headband."

I questioned her logic and of course I received a true 3yr olds response. "MOM! Because of the headband and bracelet!!! I already told you," and there was my answer pure and simple. I feel embarrassed to have had to question my daughter and I'm grateful that we got the entire thing figured out. <<<< add sarcasm there!

More of My Leo when he was itty bitty

My handsome man has been getting so big but these are just a couple pics of his first 4 weeks of life! I just can't get enough of that cute sleepy face!

Leo and his Doot Do, I've been so blessed to have my entire family live so close to me to help out with my kids this summer while Austin was in Milwaukee selling security systems. I'm glad to say that we all made it out of that little conundrum alive and safe! I'm sure that after my body purged that entire summer from my brain I became a lot more calm. I am not joking I truly don't remember much about it.

Leo's Mema and cousin Jett they are only about 4 weeks apart. Kaylee's cute little man! They will be best friends forever! You should see Leo light up when he gets to see Jett. He loves him so much, it's seriously so cute to watch them grow up together and see them interact with each other.

My man's stellar Mohawk before he lost all that dark hair! If you know me you know I dig a nice hawk and was so proud that my little man just naturally grew out the most glorious baby hawk! That's my boy! Don't be envious of the hawk, just take in its beauty and luster! Do you smell that.....that is the smell of a super fresh baby hawk grown by none other than Little Leo!

This sleeping boy can bring a year to my eye, I'm truly not sure what I did to deserve such amazing children? I am overwhelmed with joy forthe beauty, love, happiness, craziness, and understanding that they both bring into my life!

My tiny little dude, truly a beautiful little guy!

Introducing Leo

My little Leo! (who is now 7 months old) But lets start at the beginning, this little BIG boy of mine decided to come into our lives 2 weeks early and was 8 plds and 4 oz! Can you imagine if he would have waited until his due date! I would have been birthing a Chris Farley (may he rest in peace) baby! Everything with the Delivery was great. I went into the hospital at a 6 and almost missed my epidural (for all of my natural birthing friends, keep your judgement to yourself, HA!) I got my epidural and 2 hrs later my Little Leo made his first appearance into this world. For those of you that may not know Austin was not present for the birth of our daughter so this was the first birth that he was able to be a part of. It was a calm and great experience and that is when the three of our lives (Aust, Me, and Cam) Changed forever! Words cannot express the love that we feel for a little man! He is such a great addition to our family! Leo was named after Austin's Great Grandfather Valeo James Winterton I love the name and truly it was the only one we could agree on. Austin wanted Frank or George (no I am not kidding) I want Kingston or Theodore (but call him Theo not TED) Okay I am going to sidebar for a minute. WHY.....WHY.... would you call a Theodore TED or Teddy. I seriously don't get it. Or call a Richard, Dick. I can seriously keep going Charles and Chuck. I am not making the connect and it is truly a pet peeve of mine. Okay back on track....Camrynn is the cutest big sister ever. She always makes sure we have her little brother when we are leaving the house she says that we can't leave him with anyone because he is her little brother and she would miss him too much. She is the one that can make him laugh the hardest, smile the biggest, and calm down when crying. I have been so grateful to that spunky little lady for all the help that she has and continues to give me with her little brother. I am sure that I have left out a million things thats the downer about catching up. But Leo has officially been introduced!
