It's a NEW year!

La, la, la...I've got a new attitude....

This could probably be my new theme song for this year.  I saw this ecard on Pinterest right before the new year started.  It made me laugh and then it made me think about the person I had become over the last year.
The conclusion that I came to after my pondering was that I had not become the person that I wanted to become.  Instead of getting down on myself I decided to get a new attitude.  I decided that if I wanted to change something about myself than it was within my power to do so.

I do not like that I procrastinate on my homework until the last minute and then kill myself trying to get it done.  This semester I want to stay on top of my assignments to help my sanity.  This has worked fairly well thus far.  My stress level has decreased.

I feel like this new attitude has changed so many parts of my life in the last two months!

The Little Kids That Belong To.......ME! (Sort of)

 The First Four

The oldest:
Taylor is now 13.  She belongs to my brother Cody and his wife Melanie.  Taylor is so sweet.  She loves to go to the BYU football games with her Dad and Grandpa.
Next in line is Brooklynn.  Brooklynn belongs to my brother Matthew and his wife Maureen.   Brooklynn is super smart!  (I think she gets it from Aunt Emmy!  Ha, ha, ha!)
Lucky number 3 is Ashley.  Ashley and Brooklynn are just a few months apart in age.  Ashley belongs to Cody and Melanie.  Whenever we wanted Ashley to spend the night while she was visiting Grandma we only had to tell her that we would make popcorn and she would agree to come over.
Bear is number 4.  Alyssa's parents are Matt and Maureen.  When I spent 6 weeks one summer with these guys I got to know Alyssa better.  She is a jewel.

Four Wheeling!

I decided that I was going to look through all of my pictures and choose some randomly and write about them on this here blog.  The pictures that I choose this time are from some four-wheeling excursions that we've been on.

Here's one of me and how I feel when we go on super scary rides.  I am the biggest CHICKEN!  I am less of a chicken though when I'm in control of the four-wheeler.

Here's a beautiful picture of my mom and one of my nieces.  (By the way that niece is now turning five so this is a very old picture.)

A little babbling brooke we drove by once.
My brother in law wearing my sister's "sweet shades".
Some of the best times that the Arnold clan have experienced are when we're out riding four-wheelers.

Thinking of Paradise!

Ever wish that you could relive a part of your life?  Right now I'm wishing that I could be back in Hawaii on this beach with these two crazy girls!

This picture was taken the first night we were in Honolulu.  There is just something wonderful about the way the sun looks as it sets over the ocean.
What I wouldn't give to be back in paradise right now!

Bug!!!

This little feller's name is Bug.

Just ask him and that's what he'll tell you.
He is the only little bug that I want to keep around!
I just wanted to remind myself that there is a man out in this big ol' world that loves me.  His name is Bug! And I love him too!

Bear Lake

This summer Michelle, Trevor, Jenn, Jay, Mindy, and I went to Bear Lake for Jay's birthday.  Even though we were at Bear Lake half of the people we were with did not want to go to the actual lake.  WHAT!?  So, one night Trev, Michelle, and I went down to the dock.  It was fun.  Michelle loved feeding the fish!
We had a lot of fun.  One of the best parts was that we made Trevor read us The Help as we drove.  Awesome book!

We also went to the Pickleville Theater.  We watch Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat  and their melodrama.  I had so much fun!
