I love her infinity plus 1

This is my beautiful daughter Hallie.

She is the sweetest, sassiest, most compassionate, protective girl in the whole wide world. I don't think there has ever been a more loved little girl.  She is 5 years old going on 17..yes she has an attitude of a 17 year old girl. She is a spitfire and a drama queen.
Hallie has always been very special...we all knew she was something wonderful before she was even born.  Having her come into our world was lifesaving for both Tom and myself...no that our lives were in danger but our spirit, our well being and our testimony were in serious danger.  I don't even want to think of where I would be right now if this mot special beautiful child wouldn't have chosen me to be her mother or Tom to be her father.  She has brought so much into our lives.  Hallie has such a spirit about her and has since the minute she was born.  She has been a little different than most children but it mostly noticeable to me and  a few others.  She has gone through many different trials in her short little life, we have gone through so much together as a family.  She has overcome them all and grown to be so smart, beautiful, happy, fun loving and has such a spitfire personality and she will protect and defend her family and friends till the end.  I am so proud of her and all that she has become.  She loves Jesus more than anything in this world and help us to be stronger each and every day.  I hope that I can be the best mommy to this sweet little girl.  Love you Hallie girl!

I haven totally neglected my blog...for almost a year...I now have a 8 month old baby and he hasn't been mentioned even once.  He he is our sweet little man Oliver:

Our little Ollie was born July 6, 2012.  He is Hallie's little twin but actually looks a lot like Matt did when he was a baby.  He had a quick little trip to primary children's at about a month old that the doctors felt was pretty serious but it turned out to be not a big deal at all, phew, thank goodness. We love this little man.  He is the happiest, sweetest, and the most snuggliest baby that there ever was.  He has melted our heart and we adore him.

Funny things that Matt has said lately:

"Dad, we should get mom some food from Arby's cuz she's in a bad mood and Arby's is
GOOD MOOD FOOD."

yes, I am pregnant and very very moody, don't judge!

Love this kid even if he does call me out on being the mommy monster!

Future Model or DIVA?!

My friend Krista has a new online boutique and had asked if Hallie would be a
"little Model"
but I think she was more of a
"DIVA"
She did the pictures with 2 other darling little girls Olivia and Sofie, Hallie's best friend but they act more like sisters.  These are just 2 of the pictures and hopefully there are more to come...the girls had a hard time posing to take pictures they just wanted to run around in all the pretty clothes and have a party...or a meltdown.  Whew, I am glad it's over and hopefully if we are ever asked to do it again we will be taking naps before hand.  It was fun and I am so glad that Krista asked us to be apart of it.

I have to say I think my girl is the MOST beautiful and she is sooo sweet...under all of her attitude!

Love you Hallie girl!

I Wanna Talk About Me

My family thinks it's really funny to dedicate this song to me EVERY stinkin time we get in the car.  we have to listen to it and they laugh and laugh, thanks Tom for showing them, I really appreciate it...NOT!!!  I hope you all enjoy it as much as they do.  Don't forget to scroll down to the bottom of our blog and pause the music so you can hear "my song".

so since they are sick of hearing about me I am going to tell all of you, so here's a little bit about ME!

favorites:

-color: red, but I am starting to fall in love with orange and Turquoise

-food: um, I am preggers so anything and everything is great especially cafe rio, they or may not know me by name, yikes!  Baby #3 due in July.

-I have a love/hate relationship with getting new cars, my husband loves to every year and I hate to until I realize they get nicer and newer each time.  He will have THE biggest fight on his hands this year when he tries to sell my Denali unless he buys me a brand new one.

-I hate to go to the gym but I love to be skinny...that is not really a reality right now since I have a bun in the oven.

-I am a stay at home momma and I love it!  It;s full of days where i get to sit on the couch, eat Bonn bonns and watch soap operas, he he all of you SAHM know that I am lying through my teeth.  It is hard but awesome.  I am lucky to be able to do it.

-I am married to the greatest man alive!  We were just sealed in the Temple on our 5 year anniversary and it was the most amazing day and pics will be coming soon.

-I have dang cool kids that make me laugh till I cry on a daily basis.  I love them and I am glad they picked me to be their mommy.

-I like to drive fast and have road rage but I am a total back seat driver to Tom and he HATES it with a passion.

-I am such a mamma's girl, I cannot do anything in life without talking to her first...I am working on that so don't worry!

-I hate to camp, I only go (and by go I mean 3 times since I have been a mom) my family loves it but I just don't enjoy it at all...with the exception of going to girls camp with my awesome Young Women, that was a great experience!

-I love to go to the lake and play hard on the wave runners, they beat out a boat any day!

-I rely on my husband to be the grown up waaayyy to much, he is a great negotiator and I get to nervous to negotiate things.

-I like to rearrange furniture all the time.  there are nights that I stay up and think about how I can redo a room.  I love to decorate, in fact I have had a few people ask me to decorate their houses.

-I am a furniture hoarder...seriously you should see my basement, it's kinda pathetic and it makes my husband crazy!  I love antique furniture even though it looks like it belongs in your grandma's house, I want it in mine.

-I love to sit on the couch at night and watch TV with my husband.  We sit there watching our shows while usually eating edemame and drinking smoothies...ok that's a lie I am usually eating ice cream and he is the one with the smoothie, yes, I have a junk food addiction...don't judge!

-I like to watch MMA with Tom.  It gives me a stomach ache when I watch it but I love being able to do something with Tom that he really likes.
-my dream is to someday work at a bridal shop and help girls find THEIR perfect dress.  I love to watch say yes to the dress.

-I am ALWAYS freezing cold, even in the St. George summers my feet are always ice cold but I love to be HOT!

-I wear make up but I have no idea how to apply it properly.  I probably leave the house looking like bozo the clown and have no idea.

-I love to shop even if I don't buy anything it just makes my whole world better when I leave the house and am around "THINGS".

-If I could choose any vacation in the world I would choose Disneyland hands down every time.  Tom proposed to me in front of the castle.  Marrying him was the BEST decision I have ever made.

-I am a very sarcastic person and I don't have a filter.  If i have offended you at anytime...well, deal with it!  Just kidding, I am really very sorry.  I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, promise!

Thanks for listening or in your case reading all about me!  Now, I am off to put the kiddo's to bed and watch tv with hubsters.

This explains perfectly how I feel...Tom and my personal trainer will completely agree with it! And, If you read this without laughing out loud, there is something wrong with you. This is dedicated to everyone who ever attempted to get into a regular workout routine.

Dear Diary, For my birthday this year, I purchased a week of personal training at the local health club. Although I am still in great shape since being a high school football cheerleader 43 years ago, I decided it would be a good idea to go ahead and give it a try. I called the club and made my reservations with a personal trainer named Christo, who identified himself as a 26-year-old aerobics instructor and model for athletic clothing and swim wear. Friends seemed pleased with my enthusiasm to get started! The club encouraged me to keep a diary to chart my progress.

MONDAY: Started my day at 6:00 a.m. Tough to get out of bed, but found it was well worth it when I arrived at the health club to find Christo waiting for me. He is something of a Greek god-- with blond hair, dancing eyes, and a dazzling white smile. Woo Hoo!! Christo gave me a tour and showed me the machines... I enjoyed watching the skillful way in which he conducted his aerobics class after my workout today. Very inspiring! Christo was encouraging as I did my sit-ups, although my gut was already aching from holding it in the whole time he was around. This is going to be a FANTASTIC week!

TUESDAY: I drank a whole pot of coffee, but I finally made it out the door. Christo made me lie on my back and push a heavy iron bar into the air then he put weights on it! My legs were a little wobbly on the treadmill, but I made the full mile. His rewarding smile made it all worthwhile. I feel GREAT! It's a whole new life for me.

WEDNESDAY: The only way I can brush my teeth is by laying the toothbrush on the counter and moving my mouth back and forth over it. I believe I have a hernia in both pectorals. Driving was OK as long as I didn't try to steer or stop. I parked on top of a GEO in the club parking lot. Christo was impatient with me, insisting that my screams bothered other club members.. His voice is a little too perky for that early in the morning and when he scolds, he gets this nasally whine that is VERY annoying. My chest hurt when I got on the treadmill, so Christo put me on the stair monster. Why would anyone invent a machine to simulate an activity rendered obsolete by elevators? Christo told me it would help me get in shape and enjoy life. He said some other crap too.

THURSDAY: Butt hole was waiting for me with his vampire-like teeth exposed as his thin, cruel lips were pulled back in a full snarl. I couldn't help being a half an hour late-- it took me that long to tie my shoes. He took me to work out with dumbbells. When he was not looking, I ran and hid in the restroom. He sent some skinny witch to find me. Then, as punishment, he put me on the rowing machine-- which I sank.

FRIDAY: I hate that jackass Christo more than any human being has ever hated any other human being in the history of the world. Stupid, skinny, anemic, anorexic, little aerobic instructor. If there was a part of my body I could move without unbearable pain, I would beat him with it. Christo wanted me to work on my triceps. I don't have any triceps! And if you don't want dents in the floor, don't hand me the darn barbells or anything that weighs more than a sandwich. The treadmill flung me off and I landed on a health and nutrition teacher. Why couldn't it have been someone softer, like the drama coach or the choir director?

SATURDAY: Satan left a message on my answering machine in his grating, shrilly voice wondering why I did not show up today. Just hearing his voice made me want to smash the machine with my planner; however, I lacked the strength to even use the TV remote and ended up catching eleven straight hours of the Weather Channel..

SUNDAY: I'm having the Church van pick me up for services today so I can go and thank GOD that this week is over. I will also pray that next year my husband will choose a gift for me that is fun-- like a root canal or a hysterectomy. I still say if God had wanted me to bend over, he would have sprinkled the floor with diamonds...or DIET COKE!!!

some news

So...it looks like these 2 little monkeys are going to be.....

a big brother and big sister to a new little monkey. I am 10 weeks and due in July...ugh, I know it sounds so far away but we are so dang excited (hence me telling everyone at like 8 weeks). We have been wanting to add to our little family for about a year now and we are glad it has finally happened.

I went to the doctor for the 1st appointment last week and before we went, well, for a few weeks before I prayed that we would miraculously have TWINS, yep, that's right I wanted twins because Tom said no more babies after this one, BOOO! So we go to the doctor and in my head just saying prayer that the twins things would somehow happen well, the doctor does the ultra sound and guess what....

2 DIFFERENT SACKS!!!!! WHAT?! My prayers paid off!!!!!

oh wait, just 2 sacks but only 1 baby, jokes on me and Tom who by the way was freaking out more than I have ever seen him freak about before, it was kinda great actually to see him sweat it. It makes me laugh just thinking about it. No twins for us just one baby. We are totally happy about just one. We'll take him/her in what ever number we can.

SOOOOOOOO excited!!!!

I have been feeling pretty yucky which is strange because my other pregnancies have been very easy and almost no sickness at all. I don't want to eat food at all, the thought, smell, and look of any kind of food makes me sick but the family and baby has to eat so I do choke it down. I gave up soda...well, almost and it has been soooooooo hard, I am addicted it's bad! I cannot sweets AT ALL which sucks because I could live off of ice cream and that is a complete NO NO for me. So here's to hoping that July comes very fast and that the sickness goes away or subsides a bit so I can be a normal functioning prego girl if that is at all possible.

Yay for babies!
