Desk

This post is really for my sisters. A while ago I updated my desk area. The projects included spray painting the black filing cabinet orange and updating the folding chair, which I got the idea from here. The chair used to be tan, so I spray painted the frame yellow and reupholstered fabric to the cushions. It's a small frivolous thing, but a nice change.

Halloween 2012

This year was Charlotte's first time trick or treating and she went as a nice pirate. On Halloween night we went to Beacon Hill to get candy from rich people and peek into their grand homes. It did not disappoint  They were amazing and we even stopped by Senator Kerry's home. The area was packed with families and everyone was outside on their decorated doorstep passing out candy. It was a fun holiday and even more so for a 3 year old. 

Also, all the pumpkin carving goes to Stuart - I just supervised.  

Salem

A few weeks ago my sister Trisha and I met up in Salem and had a beautiful day trip. It's best to visit Salem in the Fall, but not too close to Halloween as it gets crazy! Salem is full of history: witch trials, pirates, House of Seven Gables and the seaside.
