Rally On

Last night we joined about 300 people in a rally for health care located in Boston. Despite the cold there was positive energy and we were among friends. It will be interesting to see how the state of the union goes tonight, but we are hopeful that health care will continue to be a priority and some day available to all.

Our bedroom is finally done and I love the new look. It feels better in there - it's amazing how fast I started to detest the gold paint (the pictures and lighting make it look worse) but I love the neutral oatmeal color. We changed the bedding, paint and furniture - almost everything. Here's to a fresh start.

A Little Obsessed

I guess I'm a little obsessed. Why do I think it's so funny that the measuring cups and spoons are shaped like little bowls - for some reason I'm a sucker for them. Oh well, I think the colors are fun and they differ from all the blue I have.

Quarter of a Century

I had a great birthday weekend with friends and family. We went out to dinner with the fam on Friday night and then had some excellent cheese cake made by my marmie.

On Saturday, Stuart took me to the Blue Room in Cambridge and we had one of the best meals. Then we saw An Education (which I really liked) thanks to our friends Adam and Marci for watching Charlotte.

Then on Sunday evening I threw myself a birthday party with a bunch of our friends.


Thanks to Trader Joe's there was plenty of yummy food....although we did make the cupcakes.








We had 20 + people in our little apartment. We also celebrated old school with pin the tail on the donkey and door prizes. Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes and making this year start off fun.
