Pumpkin Baby

It was a beautiful Fall day in New England and fun to pick raspberries, blueberries and apples with my mom and sister. I forgot to bring a sun hat for Charlotte, but I think she still enjoyed it (I love the smile in the picture above).

Vegetables are our Friends

Since Stuart and I are now vegetarian/pescatarian, I've started a new blog called "Legumes Amis," which provides vegetarian and vegan friendly recipes. After talking with some of my friends in Cambridge about vegetarian recipes - I thought this would be a good way to share and inspire healthy meals. If you would like to be added as an author, please let me know; otherwise, enjoy the recipes.

Tea Party, Anyone?

Charlotte trying out her new party house. Disclaimer: I did not want to purchase this bright pink exersaucer, but was desperate to get one at the time and this was the only color that was reasonably priced. Her Auntie Trisha loves it.

As Stuart and I were putting this together we were laughing at all the little toys because there's a cake, purse, mirrors, flowers and tea. So, essentially we are teaching our daughter to eat sweets, spend money, drink tea and be vain. Not too bad:)

Mini Italy

It's that time of year again - the festival of Saints Cosmas and Damian in our Italian neighborhood. Most of the streets shut down while people parade and celebrate for 2 days - it's always fun and exciting. The music is very much like the Godfather and there are lots of Italian flags. Our house gets blessed twice (from the front and the back) so we are covered each year.

This is one street over from our home - notice the Italian flag painted on the street

189 Miles

Stuart, my dad, my cousins Jared and Chad and others completed the Ragnar Relay race this past weekend. The relay was from Yale to Harvard (189 miles) and took about 30 hours...all in the rain too. Stuart ran a total of 15 miles and did a great job! He's even thinking about doing it again in May.

No Labor on Labor Day

To celebrate Labor Day we rested on the Vineyard with my Aunt Jeannine and Uncle Leon. It was nice and quiet - just what we were looking for.

Big Girls Don't Cry

At 5 months Mini has mastered the pouty face (much to my dismay) and yet it is so cute at the same time. Poor girl.

This adorable outfit was made by Mom Layton.
