In October I took a trip with my best friend, Bianca, to London to visit her sister-in-law on study abroad there. It was a quick and delicious trip. Full of history sites, yummy foods, and shopping. My favorites were Covent Gardens, seeing the play Once and buying out Fortnum and Mason. It was awesome to see Bath and Stonehenge again and see Windsor for the first time. Too bad we didn't see the Queen while she was there. I loved the crooked Tea House in Windsor, the Jack the Ripper tour was quite the adventure and all the museums were as lovely as I remember 10 years ago. I love London and felt at home there. It was even better with my best friend.

Coxing on the Charles

This year I still participated in coxing for the MIT Rowing Club, but took a step back in terms of level of intensity. I did not cox the HOCR and turned down a couple of boats due to the fact that they were bow-loaders and 4's, which I don't really care for. But it was nice to be stress free, although a little odd just being a spectator. The thing I love most about rowing on the Charles are the amazing sunrises.

I've started horseback riding again, something I loved to do when I was younger and something I still LOVE. I'm learning a lot and slowly progressing, but it takes a lot of practice to master the skill of effortless riding. I have dreams of owning my own horse and riding it everyday...if only. 

Summer to Fall

The end of Summer is always so hard, but we had fun doing day trips into Boston, going to MV for Labor Day and then the start of Preschool for Charlotte.
