Boxing day outing

on the 5th anniversary of dbsk, the members of DBSK fanclub (DHS) [LOL] decided to have a gathering and chill out! =]

we met at around 11.15 on the mrt, den went down to Cathay Cineleisure to buy Twilight tickets and have Klunch. met terence at kbox den me and zh just applied for a job there. but i not sure if my mum will allow though. aiya, if i get the job den decide ba. after that played like an hour of pool b4 going into the cinema. ivy really like pai kia like dat leh, where got ppl 2 yrs never play pool liao still can win so many times wan. hmmm.....

haha, we watched the 4.30pm show. quite alot of ppl in the cinema. the tix were quite cheap cuz there was student price so we only need to pay 6 dollars. =]
TWILIGHT!!!!

been wanting to watch this show for ages! but i heard some critics about the show but the show was kinda ok i guess. ok, robert pattinson may not exactly be a very good actor but the looks and the character of Edward Cullen just saved him. there were some funny scenes and abolutely romantic scenes too. we were like, "Awwww..." i melted when he said, "you are my life now." to bella. that is so going up my "Most romantic phrases a guy can say to a girl" book. LOL.
i thought that both bella and edward's family were funny but edward's vampire family was just way way handsome and pretty. i liked Alexis and edward's father too. haha. robert pattinson really looked so different compared to when he was cedric diggory in harry potter. he's way cooler here. bella is only 18 years old (in reality!). Lucky girl. haha.

during our klunch session we sang this song 對的人 by 戴愛玲. after watching twilight, when he said, " you don't know how long i've been waiting for you" to bella, this song just kept ringing in my head, esp the chorus (which i bold it already)

oh ya, twilight part 2 wil be called "New Moon" and its due for release next year so do look out! =] the cast will remain but the director will be changed.

Happy 5th Anniversary DBSK!!

Boxing day is always an anniversary day for DBSK! well, we din really manage to celebrate for them but members of the club did have a gathering. that will be updated in my next post.

there was a special party being organised where there were cakes and singing and dancing but i dun want to put it up cuz its like all fancam and small snippets without subs too. during the event, junsu and jaejoong cried (seems like zh likes sentimental ppl ya?!) and they all said really heartbreaking messages to their fans. AAwww.. junsu did some oyaji gags too (i think i read it somewhere)LOL. when they cried, all the fans were shouting out "ULJIMA!" means don't cry. i could hear it in the background. too bad i could not be there to share the joy just like all the many international fans out there. we can only get second hand news. haiz.

i think that DBSK has really changed my life in some way. i never knew i could be soo crazy over a group. i never knew that i will grow to have the passion to want to learn korean. i never knew that i will get myself so involved in music. they have showed me how is it like to be dedicated to your work, to have passion in whatever you are doing, how to persevere and stay determined to achieve your dream. they have showed me that hardwork pays.

because of them, this is the first time i so adamantly want to learn something. i used to say stuff like i want to learn taekwondo, violin, singing etc. but i never really thought of getting started to acty doing it. but in order to understand the korean culture better, this is the first time i really brought up my thoughts to my parents that i WANT to learn korean ad i'm going to earn my own school fees. now, since i dun have the money yet, i also became hardworking in trying to learn the language by learning thru radio, online guides and even buying books myself.

i really need to thank dbsk i guess. for teaching me how to have passion in something, opening my horizons to other genre of music, for bringing joy to me thru their music, for being a pillar of support at times, for cheering me up during depressing times esp when i was so stressed with exams, for teaching me that there is a wider world out there.

thank you and i will never regret being a DBSK fangirl even as i grow old and look back on this teenage period which may even seem foolish to myself in the future. haha. =]

yup, this is the serial that i've been watching recently and i've just finished the last episode tdy. i must say that it was real funny and entertaining! other than the romance, the show goes deeper to explore other societal roles such as career women having to juggle with family and work, pressures that an old maid faces and also a simple story of how a young man wants to chase after his dream.

for those who know me, i normally watch shows and listen to songs and get all wow! with the actors and actresses in the show but i dun really g and check up on them etc.however, after watching this show, i went to check up on the profile on the male and female lead. i already knew Chae Rim from All about Eve so i went to find out more about Lee Min Ki. i saw him act b4 in "加油！金顺！" but i din really take note of him.

well, he's not exactly a very suave actor but somehow, he has a sort of charm that makes ppl notice him, that's why he's gaining much popularity now with him filming another show now with Eugene of SES in phillipines. to be exact, he manages to put the character onto himself, making the character more realistic and ppl tend to think that he is the character himself.

his character in the show is Kang Tae Bong. 27 yrs old, responsible, mature, caring towards others, respect elders, humorous, sensitive to feelings, chef (opening his own shop) but also has a lawyer license, very smart, sacrifices himself for the girl and highly devoted. come on, that's practically everything that a girl wishes for in a guy.

that's why its so easy to like him. he acted in a show " i really really like you" with Eugene of SES before (yup, and they're acting tgt again) and many were saying that its funny. so i'm gonna watch it. =] hmm, i've seen him in shows like Xman too and he was real funny in reality too! yup yup, so i'm going to be focusing on this actor for the time being.

hey, its not often that someone gets onto my actor to watch list ok. so far its only: lee jun ki and ... ... oops, i think that was all. LOL. anyway, newly added Lee Min Ki now. so there's 2. haha. yay!

you just gotta love this guy for his humor and ability to always make one smile. his talent in singing and composing is also one that cannot be overlooked. the effort and hardwork that he puts into what he loves best will simply make anyone respect and admire him. thank you for bringing such joys into the lives of many. =] 생일 축하합니다!!

oh ya, since he's got a twin brother. happy bday to junho as well! heard that junho is a pro basebal player. i saw a few vids and he's quite funny too! anyway, these two really share a very close bond and its heartwarming to see whenever they're tgt. =]

haha, i just came back from indo and too lazy to post abt my trip or whatever. LOL. dun think i'll be posting abt prom cuz its too long ago. gotta try and complete my UK application asap too. argh. dun seem to want to do anything now.

Happy Birthday Mummy!

Yesterday after the Make up session in school (which i will post later), we went to Ju Shin Jung for dinner to celebrate my mum's birthday!! YUM YUM!! ate till my stomach wanna explode liao.
just some of the food we ate. i also ate cold noodles which was interesting and nice but i cant seem to get the photo to work. haha.
anyway, if you want nice and authentic Korean food, I'll really recommend you to go to Ju Shin Jung! but be prepared to pay though. =]

after that, me, zh and yoke went to PP to eat dinner at pastamania!! the food prices went up! haiz... i've not been going out for too long i guess... haha. we sat outside and its my first time! though there isn't much scenery to see though.

my spicy chicken pasta with LOTS AND LOTS of chilli powder!! YUM YUM! it looks like a volcano! "like that den nice ma" as i would put it. LOL.

we were very heng! once we reached the bus stop, bus 15 arrived in lik less than 5 minutes PLUS the bus was like so empty and we managed to get a seat! also because the bus stopped right in front of us la. super heng! i managed to get home in less than an hour! LUCKY!

after much difficulty, we managed to take a shot of the 3 of us. =] the bus very shaky hor.

well, i think this was a fruitful trip cuz it managed to rebond after like 2 months of studying and some of us had thoughts that we needed to talk in order to clarify. i guess now, everything's cleared up and back to normal.. HAPPY!!

oh ya... said i will show you all my hair right. hmm, that sounds weird. O.o anyway it seems like my cam cannot correctly capture colours but the colour came out on zh's cam. so these are some pics from her cam. =]

so so exciting! acty i wanted to colour and highlight my hair. but my hairdresser was saying that since i have such a nice single tone black hair now, might as well not waste it. start by highlight first. den next time den do colour and highlight. kinda makes sense so wanted to try a more daring colour so chose RED! besides, its my fave colour. AND, it represents Cassiopea!! haha.

hmmm... this is the first time i saw the clip of them receiving the award cuz i am going to wait for ppl to sub the award show before i go and watch it.

i dunno, but when yunho was saying those words. i just felt like crying too. prob its cuz we are the ones who see how much work and effort they put in. esp when they bow, it makes my heart ache. however, i feel so happy for them that their efforts have not gone to waste. i can almost feel the overflowing gratitude from them as they thank with such sincerity.

this video once again reaffirms that i have not made a wrong choice in making DBSK my idols. because of the sincerity that they have. even though there is a language barrier, they still try not to leave any fan out. that's why theyve been working so hard, trying to give only their best and nothing else.

i respect them for their dilligence, hardworking attitude and humbleness. when yunho shouted "we love you cassiopeia!" it really shows how grateful they are for their fans. and it always impresses me when they do the 90 degree bow.

at least, now they know that they were never forgotten and no matter the distance, their fans will always be following them, supporting them and rooting for them.

with such attitudes, i'm sure dbsk will be able to go a much longer way as compared to now.

DBSK was meant for GREAT things. i firmly believe so.

i know i've been posting alot of DBSK (since when have i not) but the recent Mnet Korea Music festival sparked off my train of thoughts and i felt like i just had to post what i felt regradless if anyone was going to read my post. i just needed to say it.

the bond between the Cassies and DBSK is very strong i must say. and though i may not be an official Cassie, just like many other unofficial fans, we also do our part for DBSK in our own small little way. no matter how small, we will always be there for them too.

GO GO GO!!! SARANGAH ULJIMA!!

END OF A LEVELS!!

i just realised that i've been posting but i havent indicated the end of exams!! LOL. must be too excited.

well, i just had my last paper this morning which was Bio Paper 1 MCQ. i thought it was quite okay. =]

however, after the paper ended, i wasn't like screaming heads off or what. instead, it somehow felt a little... ... ... empty. i dunno. i think a person's natural response would be like WOOHOO! but i was like, " so what now? "

it seems like my life suddenly lost direction. for the past few months, we've been studying EVERY single day. so the sudden thought that i would not need to study for a long while somehow makes me a little... ... lonely i guess. i know i'm supposed to play and all but after one week of playing, our finances get drained and the fun dies down... den,what comes next?

i begin to worry for my future which is like VERY NEAR. den i start to think about my results. what if i don't do well? where do i go?
all these thoughts start coming back to me...

scary. maybe i'm happier going back to being a student where i just need to study and dun care about anything else?

i'm in such a dilemma.

but after taking a good nap and having a good dinner, the thought that i've finally finished my exams starts coming to me. well, just take a step at a time. =]

ah!! so high today! cuz, just found a profile online on facebook dat seems like its YUNHO! haha. i oso not sure la... but the way he writes the info and description for his profile including some of the very personal never seen before pics on his profile makes this profile very likely to be true. i wish its true though! cuz international fans like us dn get to post on UFOTOWN so now can only hope that he may reply to our messages left on facebook.

acty, i went to add this person cuz zihui was saying that she had some of these friends who named their pet in pet society U-know. so i was thinking, "hey, if i add them, does this mean i get to go to yunho's house in pet society?" LOL. i know, i sound childish.

anyway, i went online and added the yunho's on facebook thinking they were fellow fangirls and it would not harm to make a few more friends right? esp if they love dongbang too.dat was around 10 pm last night.i went back to look at my facebook at around 12.30 am and den i saw that this U-know has added me on his profile and even posted a public note titled "to fans". i was like, "O.o? is this guy for real or is he just playing around?" so i went to check out the profile and all and it seems authentic! i think the pics are the strongest evidence cuz some of the pics are acty those kind of developed photos scanned into the computer. if this person is not him, den it prob is created by their close friends or their manager.

afterwards, i went on a friend request frenzy, adding ppl who might be the real persons themselves. LOL. praying hard that they are real... that will be soo so cool!

wa, i really really very high leh! its so so exciting! yesterday, the more i felt that it was real, the more excited i got, and my heart acty beat very fast! LOL. so silly hor, getting all high over a facebook profile. heehee.
