Boo To You!

Happy Halloween from Fireman Logan and Fireman Will! They were so excited to be firemen this year and put on their "fi-fer man" hats, boots and coat. We headed out before dusk because I could hardly keep them in the house. We practiced saying "trick-or-treat" but their favorite response when prompted was "Boo!" Logan:
Will:

We had fun taking the boys trick-or-treating on our street and picked up a few friends along the way! Here's cutie Minnie posing with my guys:

They loved going to each house to get their candy, practically running up each set of steps as we went along. I thought I had them convinced we had hit every house on our street, but those guys can't be fooled! Thankfully, not everyone was home, because we came home with a lot of candy.

We wrapped up our exciting night with a fire in our back yard and s'mores! A great way to end the cool fall day with two tired and "sugared-up" little boys. Now- what to do with all that candy?

Halloween Fun

October has been a busy and fun month. We have had several opportunities to dress up and spread a little bulldog cheer! Thanks to Uncle Tyler, we have two sets of costumes this year. The boys loved dressing up as Hairy Dawg and telling everyone how we cheer for the Dawgs.

Our church friends came over for a Halloween playgroup. We had two bulldogs, a dinosaur, two little pigs (one was Wilbur complete with Charlotte on her shoulder!) and a superman who didn't feel up to posing. It was a little crazy, but fun was had and spider cookies devoured.

My little bulldogs went to visit my co-workers for some reverse trick or treating. They were so sweet to hand out candy to all mommy's work friends. Even the die-hard Bama, Auburn and Gator fans thought my bulldogs were so cute. I think I even heard some "Go Dawgs" from a Tiger!

The bulldog costumes brought us good luck as UGA took down the Florida Gators the next day!

I think we'll be wearing those outfits every Saturday until January... Goooo Dawgs!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

We celebrated Andy's 33rd birthday with a mid-week Mexican fiesta! Mike, Shelli, Graham and Ellie joined us as well as our good friends Chris, Melissa and Walker Simmons.

Doesn't he look so handsome in the sombrero? The kids loved the serenade from the Mariachi band.

The Faces I Love...

Logan loving some one on one time with Mommy while Will napped. This is the guy who absolutely made my week when he said (for the first time): "Me wuv you so much... moon, back" (from our favorite book- Guess How Much I Love You)
Sweet Will trying to give me his "serious" yet smiley face:

Date with Sheshy

My guys love their aunt "Sheshy" (Shelli,) and if you click here you'll see why! The boys had a special play date at her house this week so mommy could squeeze in a haircut. Let's just say she's raised the bar on special dates with nieces and nephews... I'll have to get creative to return the favor sometime soon.

Check out the cute pics. So thankful for family and sweet memories for the boys! Thank you, thank you Aunt Sheshy!

D is for Dinosaur!

We kicked off letter Dd week with our fun new dino shirts and dino socks! This week has been one of my favorites so far... thanks to the dollar spot at Target having a fun selection of dino items (socks included!) The boys ABSOLUTELY loved water painting their dino artwork on the deck- they spent at least twenty minutes on this.
Each week we have had fun finding and naming objects that correspond to our letter. Dumptruck, dogs, diggers- oh how we love diggers! The boys have asked almost daily to get out our digger matching game. Our fun food treat was going to get doughnuts!! Let's just say that is not something one would normally find at our house... so it was a very special treat! Notice the excitement and anticipation on those sweet faces! Will (l) Logan (r)

Will loving some icing:

Our sweet friend E loves doughnuts too!

Mommy and her doughnut lovers, friends Emmie and Michelle

Checking out the assembly line of yummi-ness with Nana- they were fascinated by the process!

Hooray for letter Dd- my favorite was the trip for doughnuts.... a sweet treat for my sweeties and me too!

Weekend at Grammie and Pops' House

Two weekends ago we headed home for a quick visit with Grammie and Pops. Daddy has been swamped with work, so the boys and I let him get to it and we went for a quick trip. Thankfully, G and P live less than 45 minutes from Aunt Amie and Uncle Russ, so I got to go meet my niece Ryleigh while we were in town. The boys had a blast playing and getting lots of extra lovin!

Look how big- we can climb to the top!
Logan- a future rock climber like Daddy? Notice the tongue out in concentration- something he does quite often lately.
Will just hanging around on the swings looking cute!

Another highlight to our weekend was that the boys great-Granny drove down to see them. They love getting to see her and we were very thankful she could make the trip. She loves those boys!

Herschel trying to join in on bath time. The boys LOVE him! They both kept telling H to "fah-fo me" (follow-me) and "come Her-her." They are finally taller than him, but he could easily knock them down still. They took turns petting his head and ears and holding their hands out for "kisses."

Having fun with "Unc Ty-ter" dressed up as Hairy Dawg (Will on left, Logan right) Thanks for the outfits Ty-ter!

Meeting Baby Ryleigh

I got to meet my newest niece- Ryleigh Joy last weekend! Isn't she precious? I made a quick trip over to Aunt Amie's house in Athens to see the newest bundle of joy. She is so sweet and snuggly... you forget how tiny they are when only ten days old!

Amie looks like a pro already- figuring out this new thing called mommy-hood. It was great to catch up and reminisce about the first weeks with a new baby.

Congratulations Amie and Russ! Ryleigh- we love you already and can't wait to have lots of cousin fun with you soon! The boys already have a name for you- Ry-rie.
