So the mid sem break is here. Half hearted yay~1/2!
Went to st john's island for the yep retreat over the wkend.. haha yea st john's island. weird and real ulu place hur. but did somewhat enjoyed myself.. laughed alot i think.. away from civilisation, away from all the notes and work, jus relax, eating nonstop(nutella! snacks, amkave10 nasi lemak..5 meals a day~), sleep, watch tv, play games/facilation sessions(bridge! song guessing game haha) and also got to know some of the ppl in the team better.. a pity that i din get much of the sun, and the beach was almost nonexistent anyway.
Had a chance to visit kusu island.. as the ferry "transited" there enroute to st john.Went to the famous temple where suagu me discovered abt ringing bell thingy when u offer 香油钱..apparently its a practise found in alot of other temples.. Fed tortoises on our way back with our unfinished bread. I think its the 1st time i have seen so many of them together at one place. and to quote xt, they are certainly not slow when it comes to snatching food haha..

today's pharmstats lab was damn darn funny.. well wad to do.. we have a damn interesting lecturer that bores us to death. Cp u shld jus invite our dear prof to chat with all of us nxt time since u said u have his msn. I wonder if the TA will tell him anything..HAha who cares. I think i was entertaining him until i got too paiseh to continue chatting when 2 TAs were staring at my screen.
bahasa was damn funny also. we jus got damn cranky n high for no apparent reason..there's this v zi high girl in my class tt laughs damn loudly and ya the highly contagious type.. when i pronounced apel(apple) as ah bao she was laughing like dunno wad..ah bao bagaimana... den dunno why got durian apa kabar? durian baik baik saja. haha 超级无理头=p

Made chocs! Ok la not really make from scratch, but melted the choc bar and added my own ingredient and stuff and place it into a nice mould. was experimenting to see if we can sell it to raise funds for YEP trip.. haha but its fun~ like having to TRITURATE the oreo powder properly with the melted choc. So if eventually we decide to sell it u all must buy!
Felt that I really need to get this off my chest.. but I dunno how and where to start
There was only one word to describe my feeling towards this particular grp of ppl=utter disappointment. I didn’t have to be there last sat to know what happened or rather what was going to happen. I chose not to turn up as I knew no matter how we explained or rather, fight, (under that kind of circumstances I supposed this might be an appropriate word) it would be futile against the sheer number of fingers pointing at us, and I definitely had other better things to do than to talk to these ppl. My heart goes out to Cheryl and Choonpei for having to handle this shit, but at the end of the day, everything is over and we certainly have nothing against our conscience.
Firstly to begin with, how much support/help did we get from these ppl? Isn’t FOC/FOW a highlight event of the club? Given the traditional pathetic participation of the pharm cohort, if the exco still doesn’t show their support by at least turning up/or being more involved, how you expect the rest of the cohort to be enthusiastic about these events? Ya I know, there’s perceptorship and RAG, but that isn’t really an excuse. Of course, we will remember those that who had helped, n we really appreciate it a lot.
You guys claim that we should have more initiative in asking whether we can have deficits and dig onto reserves, let me ask you then WHERE is your initiative as a active member/exco of the club then. It doesn’t have to be in this aspect but wheres ur initiative to help in all relevant aspects?? Back to the point, we weren’t even told that it was okay to incur a loss; we were told to save n save n budget and we have really tried our best to strike a balance; you all made noise when we order $2 lunch vs ur super cheap but horrible $1 lunch last year; and after all it simply didn’t make sense to run a orientation event and make a lost. If u all really think we are charging too high a price for a matric pack, and have jnr’s welfare at heart, then use the reserves fund now n pay back into the jnr’s class fund la. Then it would be best welfare for the jnrs, since u all claim we never consider our jnr’s welfare.
So not only you all din help much, but u all pointed so much fingers at us throughout the entire orientation project. I daresay the programme for FOW is so much better this year, based on feedback from our jnrs, and instead of being appreciative n recognizing our efforts(haz), you all only know how to make noise. I am sure you guys have organized this before last year, and you know how hard it is, why make things so difficult for us? is it an yearly agenda of the agm to shoot FOW comm every yr?
Simply cannot comprehend why things will end up lydat. I really hope the new exco will do a better job this year. I have faith in u guys. And the juniors stop complaining so much, you will understand when its ur turn to organize nxt yr.

VEry Very random and boring ramblings
saya tidak senang SP1203, karena it jus sux. tidak mau do assignment.
saya mau pergi ke pator, mau makan waruku, mau pergi ke zoo. Tetapi tidak ada time. Mengapa lydat???
This sem is soo "language-based". The stupid SP mod, bahasa indon, the trying-to-be funny pharm laws, which some legislations i have to read a few times before understanding what it means. Lawyers really need a gd command of language.
My brain is crying out for help! argh.
I'm actually looking forward to dispensing practs and dfd practs these days. The emulsion we made on mon was like how nice!! its sooooSmOOth la.. looks like condensed milk. The pessaries I made few wks ago seemed to have melted.. its more like gummy bears now. why lydat ah. Thoti ts supposed to melt there and not in my hands or in my cupboard. argh haha wadever.
