Love will be the reason

I meet Julie when i was a teenager, we became so close and share the same sense of humor, interests and dunno i guess our friendship matches because... i guess some friendships can last...
We went to the same high school, different classes and even had a little rough time because we were in love of the same guy hahaha....

So college was a different story, we barely seen each other but also life put our friendship back, we give each other the update of our lives while we were in college and after that ... we saw again to talk about our lives and jobs and loves and else
Then we worked together for the book fair, we make a team! we were like partners in crime!!
Did i already told you that she was roommate of my brother?! well they were and they also they hang out well...
So yesterday was her wedding and i couldn't be more happy for her! she get married with a wonderful women and i'm so proud for them!

so i guess friendship can be like that, they can last and change or evolve in something always better and great

Sunday will be for...

I went to the Art Museum and it was a pretty cool exhibition.... So this is what it looks like the earth library... is a project of an artist collaborating with other persons that can contribute to this peculiar and different library... the idea is to collect earth, pebbles, stones or dirt from around the world, so you can deliver the souvenir with all this proper data about the place where was collected and then see all this big collection... i totally loved the idea!! don't you?!

oh me oh my...

i've been really busy lately!! oh me, oh my..! can't complain about that.. i've been sewing like maniac, spending time working outside, spare my time between working and else i barely had time for taking deep breath and put myself down working on my paintings... yes, i had 3 exhibitions almost in row... planing my workshop and taking classes and also workshops... yes, i love to be in workshop as a student! is quite nice! i really really enjoy taking classes! i won't stop doing it, i'll should take more and more... my last courses was about making soaps, having a herb garden and i'm planing more and more... yasss i miss school...! did i mention that i had a really nasty flu? well i was under medication and i feel so much better now... plans ahead?! what do you expect!? of course more work and classes and workshop... wish me luck!!

PS i barely could finish the books i'll use for my workshop in the international book fair... oh me, oh my...!

a year ago my brother asked me if i could make a paint for him and his husband... both are disney fans... my brother asked to my brother-in-law to married him in front of the Disneyland castle... it was so emotive in so many reasons, so this painting is so symbol of many things for both... although... i haven't finished yet!... (hush! don't tell him..!!) i dunno much how to finish it, in some way i kinda know but to be sincere and to me it really need more details (i'm so obsessed with it..) what else should i put? i do really know wha, i can't tell you but is a surprise... i only hope that they like it and keep them as a memoir of their love and affection from me to them... 

something new and something old...

well, as you may notice, i've been kinda off from here but i've got a good reasons, i've been really busy working on my next workshop for the bookfair and also because i've been invited to participate in art exhibitions and oh well... time flies and working under pressure doesn't allow you much to do other stuff, plus i can distract so easily, is hard to keep my attention and focus doing just one thing so this is not a whining post at all, is more like that i'm so glad that i love to be busy doing the things i love to do... and even with that... i sew this tote bag!! isn't gorgeous? i'm really proud of my creation!! so i put it on my etsy shop with a gorgeous pair of heels, not my size otherwise i should be wearing it.. is seriously my type of shoes! so feminine and the color is really bright, vermillion! what do you think about it? i'll try to post more, this is my fav season of the year... is raining (not man..) but is raining almost everyday!!

just a thought...

I've been busy, busy like a crazy, busy like a bee!! not so long ago i had a horrible panic attack or a breakdown or both... i couldn't handle it so i call a friend to help me out and she did... i'm doing pretty good and pretty well right now (although i felt really crashed tho..!) then after, i was thinking what makes me feel that way, in that day, in that moment, i think that i may already know what... so is like that 2 ways, or face it again so i can grab the bull by the horns or avoid it... then this is my thought, not so long ago i was really anxious to stay busy and really busy so i can stay awake and away of some feelings and here i am with that, except that i forgot to ask also for another things... if you really wish something, ask for it but also don't for get for more tools or ask for some other things! otherwise you'll be so overwhelmed like me...!

petit painting

This is the thing... lately i've been working with watercolor and making studios, it is kinda new on my process, something i didn't do before to start a painting and seriously, i started to like it like a LOT! you know, i'm kinda impulsive person, i used to start to hit the canvas with just a few sketches and else but now, i really think and try to land my idea before to hit with colors... should this be called a grown process on my creations? i really don't know but i keep all this watercolors and studies close by... now is part of me and the rest of the pieces...
