Texans vs Eagles
Carson's football team had another rough loss today. At least we walked away with a good feeling about our decision to drive a little further to play in the Kingwood league. We played the undefeated Humble league team and it wasn't so much that we got beat 20-6, but the behavior of the fans and coaches from the other team was appalling. The fans were screaming at the refs every play and it seemed to be working pretty well. I've only combed through the video so far this afternoon, but most of the time you hear the fans screaming for a call they got it, even though I couldn't see the infraction anywhere in the video. On several, I saw that the opposite was blatantly obvious. Check the picture out below where one of our kids lost a tooth to a really late hit.
Carson was a team captain this week and seemed to really enjoy the coin toss and spotlight.
Here's a pic of the boys just after they busted through the banner before the game. You can see Hailey cheering it up in the background with Alisha sporting her Texan gear on the left.
That's my little cheerleader!
Halftime pep talk.

Someone is feeling left out
4 Year Old Preschool
Hailey had her first offical day of 4 year old preschool today. She was so excited to finally be able to go to school at a real school just like Carson did. Of course I had to take a lot of photos!

Back to School
Back to school. Back to school, to prove to Dad that I'm not a fool. I got my lunch packed up, my boots tied tight, I hope I don't get in a fight. Ohhhh, back to school. Back to school. Back to school. Well, here goes nothing. (Name the show!)
Carson had his first day of KINDERGARTEN today. He was so excited. We took the usual "before we leave home" pictures, followed by a few at school. Mrs. Stewart is his teacher. When asked how his day was this afternoon at pick up he said, "KINDERGARTEN IS AWESOME!"

Carson becomes a True Texan
Famous Texan proverb - "I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could."
Carson has been all about Texas since he started tackle football a few weeks ago. The fact that they even have tackle football for 5 & 6 year old boys is already Texan in and of itself. Of course, what team does he end up on - The Texans!
Well, I figured I might as well make the conversion complete and take him to his first Houston Texans football game. We picked up some cheap last minute tickets for the first Preseason game against the Jets tonight (by last minute I mean several hours before the game started - gotta love being able to download and print your tickets online). He was far more into the game than I expected he would be. I think I was reminded to 'make some NOISE dad!' a couple of dozen times before halftime.
We stayed all the way up to the winning touchdown with just 2 minutes left in the game before I convinced him we needed to hurry before there wasn't enough room left on the tram back to downtown. Here are a few pictures of our little Texan on his night out at Reliant Center...

HONESTY
Well at least Hailey is honest. I love how kids just tell it how it is. I just started a movie for Hailey because London is down for a nap. (Oh how I love quiet time!) Hailey said, "Mom, you can sit here by me on the couch. Look I moved over and there is a lot of space because you have a big bum. That's kind of funny you have a big bum." Yes, yes I do. Thanks for pointing that out for me sweetheart! I love you too!

Good-bye Beach
I really don't know if I can take my kids to the beach anymore. Did anyone else see this?

Seriously!?! She was only in 1 1/2 feet of water. I am thinking about putting a bubble around my house and each individual kid!

Update on a million and one things.....
WOO HOO! Yes the camera was found. Carson found it the day after I posted about the reward! Just in time too, we've been busy...
Easter Day
Hailey's first ballet recital
Carson graduated from the WLC. He had a blast with his class of 18 boys this year.
Hailey turned 4!
Headed to the beach with Gram G.
Dinner in Keham at Joes Crab Shack. (Notice the sweet Astros hats we had just won.)
Bridger ran with a bunch of crazy guys in the Houston Mud Run. Yes, they ran the entire race in a shirt and tie. It's true...Wyatt ran the whole thing in his suit.
Last but not least.....yes we are expecting another bundle of joy! Sorry no picture because I'm not scanning in the ultrasound. I'll be 15 weeks on Wednesday. I am glad to have the morning sickness past me and we are hoping for the rest of the pregnancy to be smooth sailing with NO BEDREST!! Keep your fingers crossed!
