baby let's cruise.

So lastnight was one of the funnest nights of the summer. I got to cruise with two of my besties around town and eventually reaching the yummiest of destinations. Brent has been out of the country all summer so it was good to finally see his face! And Lex... what can I say other than I just heart this girl! She's also been away most of the summer busy running cheer camps for U-S-USA. :) {holla to my fellow cheer pals haha} Here's a collection of pics from our riding adventure. :) SO fun!

The pick up: On our way to get cruisin'

Oh Brenty... you look so cute on that orange cruiser :)

Brent realizing he has no brakes.
Way to break the bike! :)

Ahh.... We made it!!!

Lexi got some dates while we were out.

Riding tandem... Yep! We are that good. ha

Oregon.

This past week I have been up on the Oregon Coast camping with my Mom's family. We have been attending this reunion ever since I was just a baby. My mom and I made started our roadtrip on Saturday and stayed with the night at our dear friends Kenra and Kerry's home in Idaho. It's always a good time when we get together with these two! We ended up laughing our faces off all night long. Oh how I miss them. Please move back to Utah?! :)
The next morning we woke up really early and made the last stretch to the Coast. One of my favorite parts of the drive is finally making into Oregon. For those of you who have never been through Oregon...you're missin out. It's BEAUTIFUL!! So green and woodsy. It makes the long drive worth it!

Newport, Oregon

Best hand dipped chocolate ice cream bars EVER!!!

Two Oregonians and a Utahn

The cousins (minus Derek, Kyle, Brad, and Chris)

My cousin Katie has been living in Okinawa, Japan for the last couple years so it was really great to see her and catch up on all the good things going on in her life right now. :)

All in all it was a really great reunion. I miss the coast already. :)

Oh P.S. I bought me a cruiser... a baby blue beach cruiser that is which I absolutely adore! And you bet I cruised along the beach in Oregon on it :) Good times.

Lake Powell '09.

Last week I was ever so lucky to go to Lake Powell with one of the coolest families I know.. The Campbell bunch! Tara dated my brother Derek before his mission and has been such a great friend to my family. She comes from a really amazing family and I always feel so welcome and loved when I'm around these people {even if they think I'm Mexican HA!}. Thanks Tara for inviting me! I had a blast! Sure love ya! :)

Dear Dad,

I can't begin to tell you how much I miss you. Mom and I went to the cemetery today and brought you new flowers and little trinkets {mom's doing, not mine :) }. While we were there we looked at pictures of you, reminicsed, and wrote you little notes.
I can't help but think what our lives would be like if you were still here with us. So much has happened over the past 2 and half years but there isn't a day that goes by that I dont feel you. You are a part of who I am... I know that I couldn't have made it to where I am in life without your help.
I know that the boys are so grateful for you're example. You were the best missionary and lived your entire life serving others as Christ would want us to do. They speak of you often and feel you're presence with them every day as they fulfil their callings as missionaries.
Mom misses you. It's just me and her in the house now and we have become closer than ever. She is the most compassionate, strong, and devoted mother. I see why you were crazy in love with her. She's pretty amazing! I'm so glad that you brought the gospel into her life and made our family eternal. How beautiful the day will be... I look forward to it.
Happy Father's Day Dad... I miss and love you so much.

Love,
your little girl.
