President Hinckley.
This picture was given to me by a good friend on Saturday. I hope I get this story right, but this picture was an accidental picture taken at a dedication that President Hinckley recently attended. I thought this was such an awesome picture and the caption is fitting.. Follow the Prophet, He knows the way. He does know the way!! He has blessed my life tremendously with his encouraging words, strength, faith, accomplishments, and contagious smile. My testimony and faith has been strengthen so much because of this sweet man. Like most of you, he's really the only Prophet that I've known. I am so grateful to have known such an incredible leader. It truly is amazing to think of all that he has blessed this world with. He lived his 97 years here on this earth to the fullest. He has given me the motivation to not waste one day, and to do my very best. I look forward to that day when we will be together again... :)

The Bucket List
This past weekend, I went and saw The Bucket List. Highly recommend it! It was fantastic!!!! If you haven't seen the previews for this movie, let me tell you a little bit about it. It's about two men (Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson) who are terminally sick. They come up with this List of things they want to do before "they kick the bucket". Today while I was at work, I got to thinking about what my "bucket list" would consist of... I came up with all sorts of things from now until I kick the bucket! :) It was kinda fun to think about all that I want to accomplish in the next (hopefully 60+) years of my life. I couldn't stop writing, the list ended up being forever long. I wanted to post just a few of my faves.
My Bucket List:
-Finish school
-Go on a mission
-do a triathlon
-Meet the Prophet
-Go to a professional baseball and football game
-Raise a family of my own
-Save a life
-Go back to Japan
-Meet Tyra Banks... haha! jk
-Go on a medical mission
-Be a great-grandma
-Visit all the temples in Utah
-Visit the most beautiful place on earth
-Serve all my callings to the best of my ability
Think about it, what would be on your bucket list?? :)

Second Generation.
Yesterday Me, my Mom, and Kyle went down to temple square hoping to meet Sister Ng (pronounced nngg) from Hong Kong. A little bit about the reason why we wanted to meet this sister missionary is that My Dad served a mission in Hong Kong way back in the day and while he was there, he baptized Sister Ng's mom, Stella. My dad had received a email from Stella when her daughter had just started her mission. She was so excited to know that my Dad lived so close to where her daughter was serving. My mom has kept in touch with Stella over the past year and we knew that we had to meet her daughter before she leaves (next weds).
We were lucky to find her on temple square and be able to chat with her for a while. She was so happy to meet us and thanked us for coming to visit her. She was so sweet and expressed how grateful she was for my Dad and sharing the Gospel with her mother 29 years ago and how it has impacted her life today. It was an awesome experience! Something that I will always remember. It's moments like those that make you grateful for what you have!
I know you're all probably thinking we all look alike..especially Sister Ng and my Ma! haha! She would fit right in with our family :)

Our Newest Edition.
Meet our newest edition to the family... Cooper! He's a purebred shih tzu and is so stinkin cute! We got him the week before Christmas and he has been so much fun. These are older pics of him (when we first got him). He has doubled in size already.
It took us forever to name this lil guy. I left for Maui the day after we got him so he didn't have a name for an entire week. When I got back Trace and I thought that the name Cooper fit him... so the name stuck.
Got Snow???
This by far is the most snow we've ever received in one day at the house. The weather man said that No. Ogden received 21" of new snow on Wednesday!!! I believe it! That morning I got off work at 8:30 and found my car covered in snow. Those of you who know me, I HATE to drive in the snow. There is nothing that will stress me out more than driving on snowy roads. It took me an hour to drive from Mckay Dee to my house.
(This would be our mail box barely sticking out the top of all that snow)
When I got home I found that the snow plows had pushed a 5 foot wall of snow into our drive. Much thanks to my neighbor who had cleared out a path for my car to get in before I got there. THANKYOU!!!! Kyle came home soon after and he said that cars were hitting other cars all over campus. I could only imagine the chaos that was going on up there. I thought he was nuts for going to school in these kind of conditions.. I guess all his professors felt the same way ha ha! :) Let's hope that this is the worst of it.. if not I'm considering hibernating in my house for the rest of winter. :)
On the good side of all this, come summer time I'll be real happy because our lakes will be nice and full! YEAH!!!

Maui
Here it is... Pics from my latest trip. Maui was incredible, one of the BEST trips I've ever been on. The weather was PERFECT! Mid 80's every day with not a drop of rain.. doesn't get better than that! I couldn't believe that it was snowing like crazy here at home and we were running around in swimsuits and flip flops! We did everything from, snorkeling with turtles, basking in the sun, swimming with a whale shark, the windey road to Hana, shopping, and of course romantic sunsets. What a great way to end 2007!!!!
