What would I do without my dad? He is an AMAZING man whom I love with all my HEART. My whole life I have had people tell me how WONDERFUL my dad is...believe me, I know! I lived with the guy for 20 years. And he is so much more than wonderful. He is so SWEET to my mom and loves his CHILDREN more than life. He will always TAKE THE TIME to help me or to just CHIT CHAT for a while. On the way to my parents home last night Ben said, "I couldn't ask for a better FATHER IN LAW." It warmed my HEART to hear my HUSBAND say that. My MOM always says to me, "You are just like your dad." I think what she really means is that I am really FORGET FULL but I'll take it as a COMPLIMENT anyway. :)
THANK YOU Dad!! For all you do for US! WE LOVE YOU more than you will ever know.
I was BLESSED with wonderful in laws as well. My FATHER IN LAW, BOB is very different than my own father. How many of you can say that your father in law made your WEDDING veil??? Um...probably ZERO. Bob is a very talented COOK, GARDENER and SEAMSTER??? Bob and Sue have us over for DINNER every other Sunday. It's great to have that time TOGETHER to catch up on our lives. Not to mention it is very SWEET of them to SHARE their table with US. WE love BOB and appreciate all he does for us.
It was a GREAT day yesterday. Spending time with those I LOVE the most...family. Searching under every rock in GRANNY and GRANDPA'S yard for POTATO BUGS or "Woolly Bully's" with my little nephew, SPENCER was probably the highlight of the day. Spencer LOVED Ash and Ben when he was a BABY but now he just digs Ben. So I was really HAPPY yesterday when Spencer asked me to HELP him find the bugs. We put them in a paper cup with some GRASS. At one point I saw Spence with a bag of POTATO chips, I said, "Are those potato chips for your potato bugs?" A few minutes later I hear my brother say, "SPENCER! The bugs DON'T eat chips!!" Spencer had put a few crushed up chips inside the paper cup for the bugs to SNACK on! What a nut! When Ben and I were leaving, Spencer gave me a big bear HUG and a little KISS on the cheek. It was so precious!! Ben SNAPPED a pic of me and Spency. Since I don't have CHILDREN of my own, I LOVE these little MOMENTS with my ADORABLE nieces and nephews. Thanks to my
siblings for sharing the LOVE!
A FRIENDSHIP REKINDLED :)

It was also great seeing Ben's cute GRANDPARENTS. Too bad Uncle Tom had to assault us with one bad JOKE after another! It's always great to see G & G Kearl and I TREASURE the time with them.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!

Happy Birthday Mommy!
Today is my mama's birthday so this is a special shout out to the most beautiful woman I know. Last night, Mom invited me and Ben to go to dinner for her birthday. We had a great time visiting and laughing in her beautiful garden. Mom kept Ben and I up way past our bedtime. :) Thank you for the fun night!
I love you, Mom! You mean so much to me!!
Love ya, Kido!

Kiss The Cook
My friend said this to me a few weeks ago...
"If you are what you eat, then I'm fast, cheap and easy."
Well, that pretty much sums me and Ben up in a nutshell. I have teamed up with Ben's cousins, Amelia and Megan, and we are doing a cooking blog called "I Love To Cook." Actually, I hate to cook. But maybe this will help me to not be so wimpy in the kitchen.
Feel free to check out our blog sometime. The link is found under my "Friends" links.
If you are interested in joining the blog as an author, we would love to have you. So far we have cooks in Utah, California, and Ohio.

There Really Is A First Time For Everything
Remember when I told you that I work in a very professional office? Well, we just got even more so. Today my friend Lori brought in her waxing pot and waxed every one's NOSTRILS! We even talked the docs into participating. I will admit, I was definitely nervous but it turned out to be an enjoyable experience, one that I would recommend to one and all.
You must lie still during the process of nostril waxing. At one point I felt like the wax was running down the back of my throat (of course that didn't happen). We laughed at this pic 'cause it looks more like an Egyptian embalming process then some harmless waxing.
Check out all those little hairs! I swear Lori pulled out a little bit of gray matter along with the hair. Quick and painless (really)!!!
