Okay, so this time... i'm seriously going to get better at blogging. So.. first post... here in the next few weeks, Aaron and I will have a new addition to our family. Baby Kaiya is due the 11th of October. It's been a fun 9 months waiting for her to get here. Aaron graduated from BYU's nursing program and became an RN and also just recently started his doctorate program as a Nurse Practitioner. I started up school again at BYUI back in January but then when the second trimester hit, I stopped until Kaiya is born. I went back to work at Vivint in their accounting department and have loved every second of it! These last nine m
onths have been cram packed full of baby preperation. We decided to try out Hypnobabies for this birth, recommended by our midwife Sherri (who is AMAZING!) and have LOVED every second of that course. Aaron got called to be the Sunday School president and I was called as the Relief Society Secretary so that has kept us busy as well. We finally have the baby's room ready to go and our bags packed! It's been so much fun shopping for a little girl as the accesssories that are available for girls are almost too much to handle :)

We had such a great experience when we found out Kaiya's gender. My parents were able to come into town and be there for the ultrasound. It was such a lifechanging event to see something so small and yet so detailed growing inside of me. The ultrasound guy had an interesting time getting her to show her gender because she had her little legs crossed the whole time. :) She's such a lady!
I have loved every second of her kicks and squirms and all the wonderful things that go along with pregnancy...some of them challenging... but fun all the same. We're so grateful for her to be a part of our lives and can't wait to meet her! She officially dropped yesterday and small contractions have started so... she's on her way!
It was also so much fun because one of our friends in our ward is a photographer and as a baby shower present, gave us a maternity photo shoot. We love how the pictures turned out and it was so much fun to document this time in our lives!
