scrapbooking again....

Well, looks like I am scrapbooking again.....I was starting to forget how much I really like to scrapbook and how easy it is for me. This page was really fun for me to do because it really brought back memories of how cute Jason my nephew was at that age. Also, he reminds me of my son James I think they look so much alike. Well, anyways back to the scrapbook page.....First can you see my mistake in the page. Well the matted picture is glued crooked LOL. What's really funny is that I fix it before the glue set and didn't noticed that it was worse than I originally had it lol. At least he knows for sure his Tia Susie did it. Ok, I started with green cardstock then layered the pattern paper over that then after I glue and matted the crooked picture I went over with stickles and highlighted the words that I thought described him. I really think this page came out pretty good!!!

This is another page I did for his scrapbook awhile back this is his sister Jenny and his mom Mirna.

SBS challenge #6

Janet asked us to make a card with lots of BLING on it. Pretty easy isn't it??? Well, here is my take on this challenge what do you guys think??? I made this card with someone in mind and I will be mailing it to her today. Let's hope she likes it enough to post a comment on my blog lol. I know that punk stops by from time to time because she has mentioned my many typos LOL. So let’s see if she gets the hint and leave a comment...

I know I never post pictures of my kids, but today I had to share this one of my 1½ year old Julieanne. She got a hold of my make-up and decided she needed lipstick. When I saw her I had to get my camera I had to chase her around the house to take the picture because she thought I was going to take it off.

Well hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!!

SBS25 Challenge

For this weeks challenge Janet made the requirements pretty easy for us..... The requirements where to use 2 different pieces of patterned paper and use glitter somewhere on your card. For my card I desided to recreate one I had already done.......The ice cream stamp is TAC SOTM for January which are colored with prisma color pencils and the icing is stickles. The thanks stamp is TAC's circle sample and the paper is misc. scrap paper I had....Hope you all enjoy it.

before and after pics :(

Ok I had this post saved in my drafts for about 3 days just didn't get around to finish it. Well, today I desided to finish it once I went to look for my card I found Julieanne got a hold of it.
I have 3 kids my oldest is a James he is 7, next is Emily she is 3 1/2 and the baby is Julieanne who is 1 1/2. I am not going to say my oldest was easy because being a mother is never easy...He just wasn't that active I would sit him in a spot and he would stay there and play by himself. Now my daughters they are just busy bodies Emily had this whole thing about cutting her hair. We had to hide the scissors from her if she happen to see where they were trust me she was dragging a chair to climb on it. This was when she was 1 1/2 to 2 years old when she did this. I already knew if Emily was quite I better go look for her. Now Julieanne has this whole thing about coloring on everything and everyone. Yes, everyone if she has a crayon in hand while you are holding her and you feel something scratching your arm you better believe she is coloring your arm. She does the same thing about climbing I will literally find her standing on my desk so she can have a better reach to my pens and markers....
Well the last picture is her latest master piece :(

Before Julieanne's little hands (my 1 1/2 year old)..........

After Julieanne's little hands.....

It's been too long....

I didn't realize how long it was since I posted it's been past a weekL. I did manage to scrapbook though…..I have been working on getting my nephews scrapbook done. My sister-in-law asked to make him a scrapbook for his graduation. This is one of the pages I completed; he was graduating from preschool here. Don't you think he looks cute?

I've been 4 times Tagged!!!!!

I've been 4 times tagged!!!!!!
I was tagged by Sharon , Michelle, Stephanie and Karen Go check out their wonderful blogs!

Here are the rules:

1. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Here you go!!!! Hold on tight!!!! hehehe

1. I am the 2nd youngest of 8, the youngest is my twin brother, 5 boys and 3 girls and I cannot sit through a whole football game or any other sports.......
2. I can't bring myself to throw my receipts away after purchase; sometimes I'll have receipts saved for only a soda dated back 2 years, in my purse.
3. I am short, 4'11"
4. When I was in high school I was really into cross stitching and reading V.C. Andrew's books.
5. I skied one time in my life (and never will again) and after a few hours and falling about 50 times I desided to walk down the slop and spend the rest of my day at bunny slop. That's what basicly happened when I went roller blading.
6. I Mexican and love Mexican music, like Lupillo Rivera.
7. Ok I am going to make an embarrassing confession; I have burned my face twice in my life. The first time was (see first part of #5) by the end of the day I had 1st and 2nd degree burns. The 2nd time I burned my face was when I wanted to boil an egg in the microwave (big mistake) well to make a long story short, when the egg hit the air it exploded and the steam burned my face I got 1st, 2nd and very little 3rd degree burns. Funny thing is in the Medical Records of the hospital that's where I met my DH's brother (I was 'the girl that burned herself, trying to boil an egg in the microwave'). A month later I met my DH a few months later I went to meet his family that's where I seen the Medical Records guy agian, his brother and yes he remembered me so you can imagine what happened next. Now, 4 1/2 years later it get brought up again and again for a few laughs......

1. Cheri
2. Deby
3. Pia
4. Vanja
5. Joan

For My Sister

I made this card for my sister as a RAK (random act of kindness)………A few months ago I told her I had received a RAK from a girl on PW (Paper Wings) and she said she wanted one also. I told her it that it’s not a RAK when you ask for it then you know you are getting one. So after waiting for a few months (and getting that cute sisters stamp) I decided to send her one. So here it is...
Although no TAC products where used I think it still came out cute don’t you think?

Yield To The Princess

Oh how much fun I had creating this card.....A few months back I was at Wal-Mart and they had about 4 packages of kids invites on clearance for .25 each. I bought them not for the invites but for the envies. The envelopes where 4x51/2 in size so I had to make something that was a little smaller to fit in side. So, I came up with this little matchbook card that measures 3 1/2x5 cute huh?

TAC Supplies used:

  • yield to the princess, stamp

  • Chartreuse, Palette ink

  • Pink, Versa color
