May Your 2011 be a Bowl of Cherries! (without the pits of course)
Happy New Year and a Hearty Welcome to 2011! Our family has been very blessed with ending this past year on a high note. After a really rough 5 years or so of going thru the trenches trying to find a way for our oldest son to succeed with his particular form of Autism, we finally have the right supports in place! We are very excited for a positive and happy new year for both of our special needs boys! 6 months ago, I never thought this would have been possible and I thank God for this special miracle we have received. So since life is handing us a lovely bowl of pitless cherries right now, I wanted to celebrate with my own cherry design, along with some hearts and polkadots too! Here are four new 12x12 inch paper designs I've done along with a Cherry Alphabet. My wish for you is that your 2011 will be filled many happy healthy days with special family & friends.
May God Bless you all in the coming year!

Snowflake Paper Designs to Print Out
Howdy Everyone! I hope you are enjoying this last week of 2010. We've been cold and snowy around here so I decided to make some snowflake paintbrushes in Photoshop and design some snowflake paper for you to print out and have some frosty snowflakey arts -n- crafts fun! I set them up to print in 200 dpi resolution on 8 1/2 x 11 paper and saved them as jpegs. If you come up with anything really groovy and fun I would love to see it and show folks here on my blog so send me a pic when your done!
Wishing everyone a great week!

Victorian Happy New Year Cards
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and are enjoying the holidays.
It's hard to believe that there is only one week left in 2010. It seems as the years pass they seem flying by faster and faster. I always enjoy this week between Christmas and New Years because it's usually when we have our family "staycation". My husband takes the week off, we get to play with the kids, eat yummy Christmas leftovers, the kids get to see their grandparents, and I like to spend time thinking about what I would like to accomplish in the New Year. So as we get ready to welcome in 2011 here are some vintage Victorian New Years Cards for you art altering image fun. Enjoy!

Victorian Christmas Children
Well it's December 16th and only 9 days until Christmas. I just can't believe it! Every year it sneaks up faster and faster it seems and I'm always rushing around to play catch up. Today I'm really feeling in the Christmas spirit because we got a couple of inches of snow and everything is White. It's just perfect. Now I will say I'm not looking for another snow season like last year with 2 huge blizzards. I really don't want 3 feet of snow dropping in 24 hours again, but a nice little covering for Christmas, I'll take.
Today I've posted some more lovely Victorian Christmas Postcards with Children. They really are just beautiful. I especially like the one of the little girl in her Christmas dress with her dolly. I hope you will find some fun creative uses for them!
