Magnolia DT- "You are One of a Kind"

Another card featuring stamps from Magnolias new School, Travel & So Heavenly Collection 2008. The So Cute! stamps I used in this card are ..SC08 Tilda with slate.....SC08 School Slate...SC08 School Pencil. The sentiment is from Stampin Up.

I colored the images using prismacolor pencils (oms) and h2o's. Acrylic white paint for accents.

Tilda and the slate are on foam dimensionals. The sentiment is embossed with white embossing pdr. I put a little sparkle on the flowers.

Accesories....flowers, rafia. glitter, foam dimentionals. SU punch, lace, buttons, martha stewart punch, stitching.

Well we are off..........I am scheduling a few posts for when I am gone......I will be so anxious to see every ones beautiful fall creations when I get back. We had a great time on the weekend....with all our kids at home. The weather was beautiful and we had a nice bon fire.

DT Magnolia..."thinking of you"

This card features more stamps from Magnolias new School, Travel & So Heavenly Collection 2008 . The name of the so Cute stamps I've used on this card are..... "SH08 Cherries" .... "SH08 Cherry Tilda"....and ..."SH08 So Heavenly Lace". The bench is "SEA08 Old Bench" and is from the "SUMMER & SEA COLLECTION 2008" The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

My daughter Trina is having a blog candy sketch challenge till Sept 5th. Although I am not entering her candy....(cause I'm the Momma...lol) ...I had to make a card using the Fabulous sketch she created. Be sure to check out the Wonderful candy she is offering at Trina's Timeless Treasures.

Back to the card.....I stamped "so heavenly border lace" and used a part of it to paste onto the bench.

Most of the papers and accents on this card are from Magnolia. The images are stamped on Georgia Pacific white cs with versafine black ink and colored with prismacolor pencils (oms) and Twinking h20's. I used acrylic white paint for the accents.

Tilda and the bench are popped up on dimensionals. There is glitter on the shoulders of Tilda's dress.

Accessories - frosted brads, flowers, lace, nestabilites, coluzzle for border, glitter, foam dimensionals. word window punch.

The last week here the weather has been unbearably hot.....today...we need to wear pants and a jacket....go figure.....talk about a drastic change.

Our kids will all be home this weekend....Trina is already here. We are celebrating our 35 th Anniversary tomorrow night ....which is actually on Monday. Then on Monday Hubby and I are going on vacation.....to Yellowstone National Park. I will try and post before we go...if not I will schedule a few before I go.

DT Magnolia - "Straight from the Heart"

This card features stamps from Magnolias new Fabulous School, Travel & So Heavenly Collection 2008 . The Fabulous sketch I used was created by Murmer for Friday Sketchers.

The stamps I used from this Magnolia collection are - SH08 Korsstygns Tilda, SH08 Så Himmelsk Burk,SH08 Hylla med Handdukar and SH08 Korg med lingon.

The sentiment stamp is from a set of stamps I won from Aud at My Little Corner. I stamped the center separately and popped it up on dimensionals....although you can't tell from the photo.

All the papers and accents are from the Magnolia store.....except for the rick rak and the CS behind the sentiment.

All images are stamped on white Georgia Pacific CS and are colored with prismacolor pencils (oderless mineral spirits) and H20's. White acrylic paint was used for the accents.

The weather has been very hot here. Too hot for me....and I'm hearing that September is going to be the warmest month for this summer here. For once I hope the weather forecast is off. We are going on holidays soon and I have been very busy packing....but.... I will be back with another post soon.

"Have Fun!"

I'm Back......and I have a card......Isn't this High Hopes Clown just the Cutest?!!

His name is "Juggles".....He is one of the new "Hot of the Press" stamps from High Hopes.

This Wonderful sketch I used is from last weeks sketch challenge SC188.

I went a little color crazy on Juggles hair...but it reminded me of wig my daughter wore for Halloween years ago....lol...she could wear any color clothes with that wig..and it looked perfect. The clown is colored with prismacolor pencils(oms) and H20's...acrylic white paint for accents.

The little hat, flower and the clown is popped up with dimentionals.

I used diamond glaze on the balls and buttons on his coveralls. His nose is a red dew drop.

The background is made by masking the image and brushed on with a inked soft brush.....barely banana for the yellow and bordering blue for under Juggles feet.

The sentiment on the tag "have fun" is part of a high hopes sentiment...."Gorillas just want to have fun!"

I hope everyone is enjoying a Wonderful Summer.....I've noticed that some of you already have children going back to school....somehow it seems like your summer is so short...but maybe the school vacations starts earlier in your area. Here in Saskatchewan most children don't go back till the end of August....and it seems to me like when they do...it feels like the season instantly changes to Fall.

Baby card and Magnolia Fall Stamp Club Reminder

I have this very simple baby card to show you today. This sweet little baby girl is called "Sitting Tingla" and you can find her at the Magnolia site.

Tingla is cut out and placed on the oval scallop frame...I made the frame with my nestability's.

I used diamond glaze on her heart and soother....glitter on her wings and colored with prismacolor pencils and h20's.

We had a wonderful visit with Trina and her hubby last weekend. In the US we had a little car trouble ...but it all worked out okay. We did a little shopping.....but not too much....seems all the sales were coming up this week....grrrrr. I managed to get quite a few packages of Georgia Pacific white paper though....and I was running out....so I was pretty pleased.
