Alice in Wonderland

This was a fun piece that I did for one of my clients. They wanted an Alice in Wonderland scene and left it up to me to come up with this. I had so much fun painting this and who doesn't love Alice in Wonderland artwork. Enjoy!

Flair of Mary Blair

She is one of my favorite artists. I feel inspired by her work and she is a major influence for me and my artwork.

She was a conceptual artist for disney and worked on concept work for Alice in wonderland, Peter Pan, Cinderella, etc.... Her style is so unique and original. I recreated one of her pieces known as "Mermaid Lagoon." See below!

Now this piece is sold but I wanted to share it with you all. I love Greek art and love mythology paintings. I painted this piece in the Gardens on campus. These gardens have a Roman/Greek statue display which is beautiful especially during the summer. Here are some photos of the garden... Enjoy!

I pushed the colors more with my piece. I loved every minute of working on this. Hopefully I can get myself to the gardens this spring to paint more. Enjoy!

"Venus"

I' am dying to paint a painting that symbolizes the Birth of Venus and Love these two paintings below. Wish I could have both of them hanging in my house:) I had a chance to see one of these paintings(Botticelli) in person and you wouldn't believe how bright the colors are in person. I was instantly taken away by this painting.

"Bird's of gold feathers."

This piece is larger than what I normally work with but I had so much fun working on a larger piece. I used Gold Leaf for the feathers. I love the teal color in the back.
