Happy Father's Day!

Camp Retro!

You gotta love Girls Camp! We had so much fun this year!

These are all the third years and the one fourth year!

All of us who wanted to, got purple/pink in our hair!

We did some way fun skits! Ours was the 60's. For some reason, we had a David Archuleta song in it. Here, we are screaming his name and for him!

The oreo game. You split an oreo in half and stick the creamed side to your head. The first one to get it to slide into your mouth wins! No hands. You pretty much wait for it to start to melt.

Oak Hollow Ward Race!

For YM/YW tonight we had a combined activity. There were six teams. Each team had to have a leader to drive, a camera phone, and the six clues. There were rules of course. One clue at a time. Get a picture of your whole group once there. The teams rushed everywhere having so much fun. First, my team went to a cemetary and had to find a tombstone that looked like a tree stump. We found it and all the other teams followed. LAME! Then we went to a bridge and we had to climb up many stairs and get to the middle. There was a hobo there. I am afraid of hobos...anyway, after scrambling back down, our keys were gone! We tried to stop the other teams but they drove away. Our keys were under our car! LAME again! When going to the next place, another team passed our car going so fast. We weren't even going to try to catch up at that speed. We wouldn't dare. Police hide everywhere. Then, we went to Bowman's. Someone had dropped their onions and their were onion skins all over. Then, we went to Castle Park. Then, the Utah House. Finally, the movie theater and to the church. Man, we were all sooooooo competitive. My team arrived 3rd. Once everyone got back, the last team took a long time, we all talked. Some people said they stoped and help someone whos car broke down and others said they picked up the person's onions. That is what slowed their time. We then thought it was a set up and wondered about the hobo. Then, the people in charge turned on the movie The Good Samaritan. Oops...well...guilty feeling. Afterward, they introduced us to some people. The person whos car broke down, the lady who dropped her onions and her daughter who was with her, and last but not least!! THE HOBO!!! It was Brother Swap's old mission companion! Yes, we all had our excusses. We didn't see the broken down car and the onions were all cleaned up, but we all now know the real reason for the race. None of us won the race...but we all learned to be more aware of our surroundings and help others in need. We all had a blast!
