Count DOWN!

Out of the hundreds people! 74 days till due date! AND I think he will come early...but we will see, you never know. But still, excited that its less than 100 days AND I can still wear my wedding ring. With Savannah I had problems with swelling and at like 4 months couldn't wear my ring anymore. NOT this time! :)

AND!!! Last night, because my husband is awesome, we bought the cutest little boy crib bedding. Its perfect, powder blue, and brown with touches of orange. Its very simple and if Savannah and Brayden have to share a room their bedding will look ok in the same room together :). Chris laughed at me when I told him about that bonus of the bedding. He said only I would think about that...SO not true, but whatever :P I almost want to set the crib up already :) Maybe I will, if I can get Chris to get the big Christmas box out of the corner of our room. Then I will take cute pictures so you can all see it.

"Pay wif me!"

Today Chris went into Savannah's room to go play with her when he woke up. I came in a few minutes later to talk to Chris. We were chatting and decided he would go to the grocery store with Savannah so I could get some cleaning down around the house (something that DESPERATELY needs to happen). I asked Savannah if she wanted to go to the grocery store with Daddy, expecting her to be excited. Instead she quickly replied, "No! Daddy pay wif me! Uh shut the door." She then ran to her bedroom door and shut it in an attempt to trap him in the room so he had to play with her.

Potty Training Secrets

Savannah is currently OBSESSED with Dora the Explorer. She especially loves Dora's monkey friend, Boots. Recently, I bought her Dora pull ups because she was complaining that her diapers were hurting her legs. She has kept them on a lot better than the diapers. AND a bonus is she can potty train at her own pace without me cleaning up my carpet every 30 minutes or so. With my crazy schedule due to classes, I decided I didn't have the time to devote to potty training. So the pull-ups allow Savannah to use the potty when she wants, without me having to commit fully to the potty training experience just yet. Today while at Target, Savannah and I ran across Dora panties. We bought them and brought them home. She immediately wanted to put them on and proudly showed them off to Daddy. Then for the next hour before bed she ran to the potty every 5 minutes because she was so worried she was going to pee on Dora. It was hilarious!

These panties may turn out to be my magic tool in potty train :)

Sharing Peas

We were all sitting at the table eating dinner. Chris finished his food. Trying to encourage Savannah to eat her peas I said, "Savannah look, Daddy ate all of his peas!" Savannah quickly said, "More peas daddy?" as she started putting her peas on Chris's plate. What a goober!

Sophie Troubles

Savannah loves playing on our porch. She especially loves to blow bubbles out there. This works perfectly for me because it keeps her entertained for HOURS and I can sit at the kitchen table where I can keep an eye on her and at the same time get some school work done.
The only problem is, she doesn't like to be out there by herself; she usually makes the dog go out there with her. One day she brought Sophie out there. But then Savannah started chasing Sophie on her bike, which Sophie did NOT like. First chance she got Sophie came running back into the house. This upset Savannah who preceded to try to convince Sophie to come back out on the porch. First she tried standing outside with the door open trying to coax Sophie out. Then she tried commanding her out, "SOPHIE! OUT! OUT!" When that didn't work she tried pulling Sophie out the door by her collar. That didn't work either so Savannah got behind her and started trying to push Sophie out the door. Sophie just sat down. Savannah let out a few frustrated, very exaggerated huffs, gave up and went outside without the dog. I only wish I had gotten it all on video.
