Savannah's dance!

For some reason Savannah's dance video won't load. So check it out on facebook under my videos

Lyla comes to play! Part 2

Here are some of the pictures from today.

Happy girl!

Coloring, they both loved it! Savannah colored more on Lyla's paper than on her own.

Lyla comes to play!

Savannah's friend Lyla came over to play today. They played together so much better than I had expected. It was so cute watching them color together and share toys. My favorite part was when Lyla chased Savannah around trying to tickle her. Savannah finally figured out how to say Lyla.
Lyla Tickles Savannah.

Savannah's first attempt to say Lyla.

Attempt #2

ZOO!

On the train that goes through the park. Savannah thought it was the coolest thing!
Mom took Savannah and me to the zoo last month. We had a blast. It was the perfect day to go too because it had just started cooling off outside so the animals were out and playing. We even saw the lions wrestling.
Savannah found this little photo spot and didn't want to leave

Dinosaur

All tuckered out!
(This should be after the animal board and the tunnel, but the pictures are all out of
order and I'm done messing with it.)
This board made the animal noises, she kept going behind the board to try to find the animals.
Savannah climbing in the prairie dog tunnel. This was snapped right before she slide and did a full circle.

Waiting for the Seal's show to start.

Halloween

Unfortunately Savannah and I were both sick on Halloween. But we went to the Halloween party at my Mom's church the week before and had fun at the trunk-or-treat. So at least I feel like Savannah got a little taste of trick-or-treating.
I made Savannah a little Owl costume for halloween. She was super cute in it. Unfortunately I only made a half mask because at church halloween parties they have asked us not to have masks. So you miss out on the big owl eyes.

Savannah waiting with Daddy for the kids to come out and trunk-or-treat.
Had to take several pictures before I could get a picture of both of them looking at me.

Chris got a little too excited about halloween and decided the kids needed full size candy bars and Jones sodas...at least he was excited about something.
Max and Savannah after the trunk-or-treat eating some of their candy.
Savannah tried to follow Max around all night, Max didn't even seem to notice her.
Savannah put a half eatin' sucker and a piece of ice in her Halloween bag...boy was that fun to find later. She only really cared about the suckers so I got all the chocolate :D
At the Chilly Cook Off another one of our friends Emily and her twin daughters, Riley and Keagan were there too. Riley is developmentally at about the level of a 6 month old. Riley had a Halloween bag sitting below her and Savannah thought she had dropped it so Savannah picked it up and tried to hand it back to her. But Riley didn't try to grab it. Confused Savannah put the bag back on the ground, Riley's hand was in a fist so Savannah gave her knuckles and walked away. Riley just grinned! It was SOOO cute.

COLD!

Brr!!! It's finally starting to get cold. Had my first cup of Hot Chocolate for the season today. I LOVE hot chocolate. My favorite is from scratch. A recipe found on the Hersey's Cocoa box:
1 cup of Milk
2 TBSP cocoa
2 TBSP sugar
some vanilla extract
and a dash of salt

YUM!

Got to go shopping. I haven't bought winter clothes for Savannah yet, because in Texas you never know when it will finally decide to get cold and I didn't want to buy them too early and have them out grow them before she could wear them. She doesn't even have a pair of closed toed shoes :-S But this shouldn't be an issue. I LOVE shopping for Savannah. I wish shopping for me was soooo stinkin easy. She doesn't have to try anything on, I know size 24month fits and I know which colors to avoid...her hair makes it a little tough just because some colors and her hair are not meant to be friends.
