T-ball fun!!

Well, its our second year of T-ball and this year Kortlin is on the team officially!! Last year he just joined in and this year he is an actually team member! (we had to fudge his date of birth to pull this off) It is hilarious to watch all the kids and how they all play! Kortlin is a one man team who thinks he needs to chase down the runners and tag them out! Paige is doing really well and can hit like a pro!! Coaching is a riot and its fun to see the kids improve!

The Air Show!!

We went to the Air Show a couple weekends ago and the kids loved it!! The weather was perfect! We couldn't have asked for a better day! It was loud and we all got the crap scared out of us a couple of times when we weren't paying attention! It was a great family outing and free! You can't beat free! We plan on going every year they have it as long as the weather is cool! We went once before and it was really hot and not as fun as this time! Enjoy the pictures!!

Paiges first Barbie haircut and summer hairdo!!

So Paige came to me the other day and wanted to cut one of her Barbies hair. We got the scissors out and I let her have at it! She did a pretty good job and had fun doing it.

We put cornrows Paiges hair for her summer do!! It has been really easy to maintain and she has had a lot of compliments on it!

Houston!! Take it or leave? We'll leave it!

Jeff had the opportunity to go to a training class in Houston, so we decided we'd make a trip out of it and I flew in for the weekend! Needless to say Houston really isn't that great! At least we didn't think so! We really wanted to go to an Astros game, but as luck would have it they were on the road that weekend. So Saturday Jeff and I decided to head on down to Galveston and check it out! It really wasn't that impressive! It was still recovering from the hurricane from last year and was pretty sad! The only pier was still tore to pieces and the beach, well lets just say its not like the ones in Mexico!! Thank goodness while I was at the Denver airport I talked with a kid from Houston and he said to go check out Kemah Boardwalk! So we left Galveston and headed to Kemah! It was pretty neat and hot!!! The sailboats were beautiful and there was a million of them! Are next trip will be to Germany with Jeff's work, so hopefully its better than Texas!!!!

Houston!

Houses in Galveston!

The Pier??!!??

They sure drive weird cars in Texas!!!

Kemah Boardwalk!

The roller coaster I couldn't get Jeff to ride!

The Sailboats!!

So Kortlin thinks SpongeBob lives in Texas! (any of you who watch SpongeBob knows thats were Sandy Cheeks the squirrel is from) Anyway, what are the chances we find a SpongeBob statue at Kemah Boardwalk and to top things off on Sunday when we are leaving the hotel what was waiting out side the door? A squirrel!!

Sandy Cheeks!!!

The sunset in Denver on my way home!!

It was nice to get away for the weekend and now I can actually say I've been to Texas!!
