For Halloween this year, Caleb was a little monkey. He was so adorable. We didn't take him trick or treating, but we did take him to our church's trunk or treat. He had fun and definitely loved eating "some" of the candy.

Our little monkey

Caleb turned 1
I can't believe my little boy is already 1. I can remember the first time I held him in my arms. He is so fun and we love him so much! My Mom and Dad, Bryce, and Teaghan were able to fly out for the occasion and Ben's sister Liesl and parents came down for the event as well. It was a success and he has enjoyed all his new toys since! We are so thankful for our little monkey and can't imagine life without him. He has been walking for a month or so before he turned 1. He can say dada, mama, hi, bye, done and then lots of jibberish :) At his 1 year appt. he weighed 23.1 lbs and 33inches long. He is a giant for his age and Ben loves it. He also is left handed, which my Dad claims is because of him! For his actual birthday we went to Chuckee Cheese and he had so much fun riding the little kiddie rides. For his birthday party we did a monkey party (mostly curious george). He didn't quite know what to do with the presents, but he knew what to do with the cake.
One of the many toys he received.
His birthday cake(suprisingly I made it)
Smash cake after he had demolished it
This toy was a hit. Everyone took a turn.
He was exhausted, but wasn't going to stop him from his train.
Happy Birthday sign

5K
So my Mom and I ran our first 5k Labor Day weekend. It was pretty fun, I must admit and definitely harder than I'd imagined. There were a few brutal hills that kicked our butts, but we made it and that's all that matters!
