Recent photos of Saige
Saige has grown so much and is now 15 months. She can now walk a few steps unaided, still not there yet in terms of walking but she'll get there.
When we are outside, she can eat our food and that makes things so much easier as we don't have to bring baby food outside. She can also enjoy our food too. In fact, whenever we have snacks, she will make noises and want a share too!
She can call our names e.g. Gong Gong, Po Po, Mama, Papa, Jie Jie and even Jiu Jiu! She is also starting to learn how to talk and says simple words like dog, cat, more, mum mum (food), nen nen (milk), deng (light). She shakes her head when she disagrees and nods her head when she agrees.
Her favourite time is bath time as she gets to play with her bath toys and splashes water all over the bath area. When I say "ok?" during her bath, she will shake her head, meaning she wants a longer bath.
Saige's favourite fruit is banana. She gets really excited when she sees a banana and points to it and shouts "Nana"!!
Like most kids (and adults!), she loves ice cream too! However she refuses to lick from an ice cream pole as it is too cold for her. She will smile and turn her head away. But she still points to it and wants to eat it, just not directly from the pole!
She has one nap a day, from half an hour to three hours but usually one hour or so.
Her favourite breakfast is raisin toast. She is able to finish a piece of raisin toast all by herself.

Tulip Festival - 14 Sept 2014
We went to the Tulip Festival in mid-September. It has been six years since our previous visit, I was pregnant with Shannyn then. We told her that she had been there but never seen the flowers, which technically was correct. She found it ridiculous. So she said that it did not count.
Entry fee: AUD22 for adults, kids under 16 free.
It was the first weekend of the Tulip Festival and the theme was Turkish. Hence, lots of Turkish food e.g. Kebabs, deep-fried potato cakes and Turkish deserts. I enjoyed the kebab and deserts most. There were other activities and food as well. Shannyn and grandma spent almost an hour doing origami at one of the booths.
As it was the first weekend, the flowers were not fully-bloomed. Nevertheless, still beautiful. It was totally worth it, the tulips were awesome!
What was really funny was that the next day, dad said that the lilies were very pretty. I nearly cried laughing. Oh well, as long as he enjoyed the experience, it was all that mattered.
