I LOST MY LEGS AGAIN.
I went to RWS with my folks today!
It was so much fun, I felt like i was in a different country!
If only it was a little less sunny, the sun today was scorching!
I actually got sunburnt on my nose and cheeks.. but i'm glad that it didn't rain :D
Realised that the rides ain't many, especially when Water World is not open and the two huge rollercoasters are not ready yet.
But, let me give you some tip off.
#1 The Steven Spielberg special effects is a must go. It was so cool~!
#2 The Mummy roller coaster ride is pretty unique, but it could have been better, i heard it's a longer and scarier ride in the USA, but don't be frightened by the contents of the "Warning" sign, it's fun to a extent to not exactly freak you out.
#3 The beef burgers at Mel Diners are not fantastic though it comes in pretty thick patties, I'm not sure if it's just today, but the beef patties was kinda on a hard side.
The fish burger is good though, it tasted like fish and chips kind of fish.
I didn't try the chicken, sorry.
#4 The Shrek 4D movie thingy is good for kiddos and adults as well, pretty fun experience though it was rather draggy when we first entered the so-called dungeon, thanks to the story telling by three pigs, one pinnochio, gingerbread man, mirror on the wall and that evil prince in Shrek.
The fun experience comes when you enter the chamber, where you get to sit.
Guy might find it stupid.
#5 Do take photos with the weird characters that are walking around; Charlie Chaplin, Frankenstein, some Duck, Madagascar, Penguins, "celebrities", monsters.
They are really cool and spontaneous so don't be shy to queue up for it or ask for a shot!
#6 Also recommended to try out different styles of photo shooting, meaning don't just stand there and smile, try climbing or something because the staff don't stop you from doing it.
But please don't try climbng a building thanks.
#7 Keep the place clean! I'm EXTREMELY glad that the "streets" were super clean thanks to the diligent road sweepers and the toilets were pretty clean too.. (refers to toilet beside Steakhouse)
I would say that the 10am to 7pm time span given is more than enough if you are a family of teens and parents (that means no noisy demanding kids running and hassling around) well that is if the water world is not open!
And the environment is much more beautiful in the evening because the lightings are all switched on, like billboards and signboards. More beautiful for taking photos too. The afternoon sun was too bright.
Anyway, it was overall a wonderful experience despite much walking, queuing and squabbling :D
(Y) Thumbs up!
