happy birthday KUAN REN??! (RUBBISH!) haha it was just one random birthday song we sung during the steamboat when kuan ren FINALLY arrived.

When school ended, clara and I ate lunch, then joined yannis and sheau ling to go get the cake from tampines. THe cake we ordered was a disappointment i must admit. and so we took a little trip to the bakery shop QBread at Tampines interchange to take a look at the cakes there.
After much of a decision, we bought Mango Paradise.
Actually the second cake was to compensate the disappointment thing la and the cake looks small anyway.
Returned back to school and had a hard time finding a a fridge to put the cakes in the canteen. We managed to find space in Kopitiam.

It was a lucky thing that we did bought two cakes because it was eaten all up.

hey.
It's a pretty rough day today.
First I was late for school, and I couldn't get a taxi. When I did got one, the taxi driver was new and wasn't sure of how to get to Anglican High.
That ride cost me $8.50. I'm glad the taxi driver apologised when i was about to alight.
&I was glad that I made it to school on time.
Yet, I was guilty about missing PA duty. and troubling Tzzy once again.

After morning assembly, all councillors were asked to stay back.
Mr Chua broke news to us. It's a shocking and puzzling piece of news.

First lesson, English. I entered class and saw a couple of people standing. Mrs Jain asked us if we didn't hand in homework yesterday those who didn't stand. I intended to pass it up today but I realised I have not written down the corrected version of the english errors.
I stood up and finished writing before I hand it in and sit down.

Next period was HCL. I remembered I forgot to bring my two chinese textbooks AGAIN. Had no choice but to admit to Sun lao shi and she simply nodded. Made me feel uneasy.
Then it was two periods of PE.
We ran and took our height and weight then played basketball. I said the wrong thing again.


You know what? I know it. I sense it. I try to but i can't.

After PE was recess. It's dumb, the canteen is SO crowded. It totally spoilt my appetite, i didn't even drink anything.

After recess was Math. I wanted to refill my bottle, but there was so many people at the water cooler. So by the time I entered class, Ms Lee was there already.
She pointed these out
- I was wearing pe shorts (no skirt on)
- I was late for lesson
- I am a councillor
She said she will deal with me later.. but she didn't.

Next lesson was Art. Two periods. Art was alright, but I was falling asleep because Mrs Neo switched off all the lights as she needed to use the visualiser. We sketched human faces.

Then it was recess again. I went to 3B but they were having lessons. =/

Mr Yeow couldn't make it for our lesson. So he gave us homework.

I rushed through my math review and left for PA.
And did half of History homework there. I don't know how to do the rest.
shall put in his pegion hole in the morning tomorrow.

Assembly was screwed. I shall not elaborate. But it was an uncomfortable stressful atmosphere.
nahhhh, shall not talk about it anymore.

okay, i left hall and I intending to leave school when I realised i left my handphone in the PA box. I went all the way up there again and to my HORROR, the room wasn't locked. luckily I went back up again. If not we will get into hotter soup. =(

Saw Claire on my way to the mrt station, she rushed for the two minute train but i didn't. Later, I saw Naomi. took the same train. I went to Tampines Mall to check out the cakse, wanted to go buy one home. But not enough money.
SIGH, to think that I refrained from eating during 2nd recess because I wanted to save enough money for the cake.

Now Im back with one piece of homework = history.
three pieces of homework from the holidays = TKAMB, Cheng nan jiu shi and scrapbook all will be tested or hand in next week.

There's syf showcase today during assembly.
I almost couldn't make it for the performance.
The two mc speak so short only!
I had to not wait for xingkai to pass me the mike and rush to my seat but before i sit, the curtain start to open already. i wanted to not perform but i think i heard my name then I decided to perform afterall, anyway there were people asking me to go charmaine quickly! and so i did.
It was super squeezy. haha sorry mabel for making it so squeezy.
I was perspiring like mad and i played three wrong notes.
oh yar, we got to leave two periods earlier before assembly.
And tomorrow too! -for me.
haha because I will be doing "upstairs" during assembly. YESS! get to skip SEL.

Monday was half day, but councillors got AGM.
I think it's funny, AGM = Annual General Meeting. But we already had it three times this year. LOL

Today i went for recess and I saw huiyi. and other sec fours.
im not sure about sec threes but huiyi say that SOME of the sec four classes have the same recess with us.
and i know sec threes as in mavis they all, they have recess one period BEFORE us.
SO WEIRD RIGHT!
i think it's interesting too, there's more waiting for me to find out. hah
OHOHOH! by the way on the award board or something, GUITAR is placed FIRST! haha then choir. no offence la but all these years choir always get the glory, give the GUITAR ENSEMBLE a chance man x)

A couple of words to new councillors.

Everytime at night maybe around this hour or something, i will feel super hot.
anyway i have some stories to tell.

The day before yesterday, which is Tuesday.
Yannis, Clara and I went to gutiar room at 9.
Then we went off at 11.30 to Vivocity.
We ate Super hotdog! yummmmy. for $6.90
and yannis dropped her drink -.-
We checked out some stuff there on the second level (we scouted the WHOLE level la! then it ended up to be near the place where we started off =/)
AND i bought a birthday present for my dad from TANGS!
It's a wallet but the brand is Perllini, sounds abit gay, i don't know if it's a woman's or a man's brand or mixed.
But i just bought it coz it's cheap.
HAHA.
From Vivocity, we went to Douby Ghout station, passed by the Istana House and bought some stuff THEN we went to Esplanade, we sat down at a shop named Mrs Fields and bought drinks for ourselves and started going through the stuff that we just bought.
checked some other stuff again. then we went back to Vivocity. and bought something.
And i bought a new shirt for my bear Furrie!
But the shirt is too big so it looks like me when if i wear my dad's shirt.
haha it was $11.90.
but furrie looks papa-ish. like a daddy! :D
We took a train back from Vivocity and managed to find a seat YESSS! our feet were aching like MAD.
yannis alighted at Simei, clara and I went to tampines.
We went to popular to buy scrapbook then went to Yoshinoya to eat our dinner.
then i went home.





On WEDNESDAY! WEDNESDAY THE 20TH JUNE 2007.
We went back to guitar room at 8.
waiping was there studying.
we did our stuff while she studied then she left at 9 i think.
we were stuck there for really long, besides going down to 85 to buy our snack and lunch.
when we were packing up it was around 3 plus.
I was keeping stuff when ALL OF A SUDDEN the double bass dropped!
just to tell you, clara and I were at the middle of guitar room, 1 metre away from the chair mr shi sits on and the double bass was right at the corner of the room at the back door area.
And somemore I just switched off the radio when we started packing and we weren't talking to each other at all so it was really quiet.
And when the double bass was dropping, it had this grazing sound and then BOM!
so it was like RR-RR-RR-RR-RR-R *squeak squeak* BOM!
we turned, we gasped, we laughed then we ran.
And laughed harder.
It was unbelivable that it dropped!
and it was BROKEN
The part connecting the neck to the body was broken.
And the stand under the double bass totally came out and as this two things were connected to each other by the strings, so the double bass was actually broken in to FOUR parts. -including the two wooden things that came off but we don't know where it came from.
we were like trying to fit or FIX a jigsaw puzzle which was easy but TOTALLY difficult!
the neck could be squeezed back into the part where it dropped off.
but the stand below was ARGH! PULL PULL PUUUUULL! *give up*
so in other words the double bass = (we think) gonecase.
alright i admit was made a bom sound before the double bass dropped but it didn't have anything to do with it!
THERE'S NO LOGIC! o.O
anyway clara ran out to go to the toilet and left me alone in the guitar room for 1 second after she slammed the door behind her.
I freaked out and ran after her. without my shoes and socks on. y-u-c-k

we decided to call someone for "comfort" coz we didn't know what in the world to do.
i called xinlin, told her and she laughed and blah blah blah then told me to call geraldine while she call huiyi.
i called geraldine, told her and she laughed and blah blah blah then she called mrs koh.
huiyi called up and asked me stuff. then she said she will call me back later.
xinlin called back.
she kept laughing.
then huiyi called up, she said the problem was they can't contact mrs koh, see if she is in school then can come over to look at the double bass. so asked us to wait for half an hour.
we waited, but don't know for how long.
then huiyi called up again.
she said Mrs koh asked alot of why questions and said she will shen1 qing3 for a new double bass.
and mr shi said the neck is a difficult part to fix so the best that could be done was to buy a new double bass.

i wonder why the first reaction of xinlin, geraldine, huyi and even the both of us clara and I laughed at the news that the double bass dropped.

okay, this is what i think WHY the double bass neck will break.
It fell forward and when it was dropping to the ground, the head hit the chair in front of it and that caused the neck part to break off from the body and also led to the stand under the double bass to spring out.

coz i saw HOW it dropped, but didn't see WHY it dropped.

and xinlin made my imagination go wild when i was on the phone with her.
i asked her if the guitar room got any ghost stories, she said no but the air conditioned d&t room and the passageway between co and ho have.
I vaguely know about those two ghost stories but it creeped me out because both places were sooooooo close to where the double bass was leaning against the wall.
If u open guitar room's back door, the passageway is just in front of you.
and over the other side of the wall the double bass was leaning against, is the air conditioned d&t room.
OMGOMGOMG.
we were really freaking ourselves out la.
okay, maybe it's just me but it was scaryyy.
i think huiyi and geraldine's voices can make me feel not so scared or let's say nervous.
haha especially huiyi's voice and clara agreed too.

okay and we went home, feelind bad about what happened.
THough it didn't have anything to do with us BESIDES we are the only ones who were in the room when it occured.

or unless..... o.O
sorry, just scaring myself.

It's really getting bored around here.

A story taken from jiaye's blog. -oops.
Thought it was meaningful.

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation. And every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window. The man in the other bed began to live for those one-hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color of the rainbow. Grand old trees graced the landscape, and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance. As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by. Although the other man couldn't hear the band - he could see it in his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words. Days and weeks passed. One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone. Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the world outside. Finally, he would have the joy of seeing it for himself. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed. It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window. The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall. She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you."

Epilogue...
There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations. Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled. If you want to feel rich, just count all of the things you have that money can't buy.

I don't know the exact date but they like to always celebrate her birthday on Sunday.
And my dad can't remember her birthdate so i will live with that.

Goodness me, if it isn't sleeping madness again!
I slept at around 6/7pm yesterday and slept all the way through till today 7.30am.
sheesh, we were supposed to go out for dinner yesterday, but my sis and i fell asleep so... didn't. =/

The book Odd Thomas is nice, i read till page 26 and im hooked on it.

Im bored, my dad gone to work, my mum and sis still sleeping...
just now when my dad was going off to work, i decided to do what i usually do when i was younger.
I stood at the study room window and listen to him wearing his shoes, then when he walks past i will say "BYE DADDY!"
and that was what i did.
and he smiled.
haha sometimes he does stupid things for us to laugh at.
I remember my mum telling me that my dad was doing this stupid facial action to my sister when she was a baby then and he had his jaw locked.
haha it caused him much pain.

OMG! I just realised that those group of china students that sang zhi1 zu2 on stage last year in our school was from Zhu2 yuan2 zhong1 xue2.
