Functions went to Ms lee's house to bai nian.
Ate a slice of pizza there and played games with Ms Lee.
Besides Ms Lee, her husband's brother was also around, but he was in the room.
We made alot of noise!
Especially those who were playing mahjong and stress.
The games are way cool, simple games but they are just so cool!
=P

Packed up at 6pm because Ms Lee had to go out for dinner with her friends.
We collected our oranges and red packets from her.
$$ whoohoo!

I went home for steamboat with my family.
Mei xuan, teng hui and tzzzy also went home, they didn't join the other functions for dinner.

Steamboat was great, it's been long since I had home cooked dinner with my family at home.

Monday, 26 Feb 07
Finished my art piece during art lesson, I think mine looks the worst!!
Had Homec then, we cooked a japanese dish!
It's called "Chawanmushi"
It's steamed egg!
We did food tasting and note down how we feel etc about the dish.
Homec was our last lesson so I went home with pearlyna and she told me lots of stuff.
I couldn't wait to get home, because I wanted to prepare the dish for my family to taste.

No one was at home.
My dad was at work
My sister was at school
My mum was out visiting.
What a perfect time to prepare my egg!
I called my mum first to check when she will be coming home.
It was 3pm and she said she will be back at 4plus.
So I decided to go for a bath before cooking.

First, I boiled the water in a big pot!
I took out two eggs.
I broke the eggs into a bowl and beat it well.
I took out the crabstick, rinsed it and chopped it up into thick slices.
We also used mushroom and chicken cubes during our lesson, but I don't have it at home.
So, I sliced some ham and carrots and placed it into two other small bowls.
1/8 teaspoon of soya sauce
1/4 teaspoon of sugar
1/4 teaspoon of chicken stock.
A dash of pepper.
All these into my bowl of egg.

Next I add 200ml of water into the bowl as well and mixed them altogether.
Then I poured the mixture into the two separate bowls which contain the ingredients.
I covered the top of the small bowls with plastic wrap before placing them on the metal rack in the big pot.
After 20mins, DONE!!They look perfect, the surface is smooth without any holes.
I was really satisfied with myself, but I was wondering about the taste.

My mum was finally back.
I waited for her to count her winnings in black jack and waited again for her to have a change of clothes before bringing her to the kitchen and showed her my perfect steamed egg.
She gave it a taste and said a word that I have not heard for long
; GOOD!

It brought a smile to my face.

I had a late afternoon nap and woke up for my dinner.
My mum told me that My sister ate the whole bowl of egg!
whoohoo!!
So this shows that my steam egg is really deeeelicious!

Met Victor in the Mrt train.
oooh, so he is late for council meeting as well.
haha, we walked up to school together and when we arrived, the councillors started singing birthday song.
It was then when I realised that it was his birthday that day.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY VICTOR!!

That day's morning assembly was in the main hall.
So we set up the mics and stuff and went backstage.
I almost had to go out with tab and the others for pledge taking.
Because Clarice took so long to come.
Mugged for my Geog test the next day.

Wednesday, 28 Feb 07
Came late and couldn't make it to PA box, had to sit with the rest of my class at the parade square.
so warm...
First period was GEOG.
Goodness, oh by the way it was not difficult, all multiple choice but I'm still afraid I might not be able to score well.
No confidence in myself.
=/

Ms Lam told us ghost stories.
whoohoo!

After recess was SEL.
We watched a movie called lu bing hua; dry fower
It's a very old film i guess, but it was kinda interesting.

We got our yearbook during Chinese lesson.
I didn't know I am I/C for 2F for cleaniness today.
I walked out of class and was called back by Sun lao shi.
And she instructed me around.
ahh~
oh and she asked me a very weird question.

Went to Subway with pearlyna, shi pei and shuqing.
But I was broke so I bought a mc chicken before going to subway.
yumyum!

We saw an article on the Newpaper
that said, "Girl gave birth at 9"
OMG!!
We were so attracted to it!
But couldn't browse through.
We went toilet at mac then we went home.
I walked with pearlyna and we decided to buy the Newpaper.
Totally shocking news!!
You just gotta read it.
The girl FREQUENTLY sex!! eew =/ and COME ONE she is only PRIMARY THREE!! children nowadays..... *shakes head*

I heard some graving news!
But I'm not allowed to spread around.

starting from CHU XI DAY NUMBER ONE!!
woke up at 12!!
Dressed up, had my red packet given by my parents then we took a taxi to my grandma's house
There, we ate then we chatted for a while before proceeding to CHINATOWN!!
I don't know why I always obliged myself to go to chinatown during chinese new year when I don't like it. because it seriously stinks there
All the perspiration, BO whatever~
and Im not tall, Im like breathing all the bad air below you know.
And there's no toilet around for you to relieve yourself if you really need to..
even if there really is, it's sooooo dirty.
All you have to do right is to put both arms in front of you close to your chest, and jostle around with the crowd, squeezing and pushing and let other people smear their sweat onto your shirt and get yourself into risk of pickpockets as well.
SO WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY?
- just to get into the chiense new year mood.
We didn't even buy anything much, we bought mua chi home that's all. But we ate sausage and drank coconut which was sour at first and my mum changed four times!! and we still ended up with a sour one, i guess the weather was just too warm.

I heard fireworks!! but couldn't see them, i guess it's blocked out by some buildings or something...
Finally left Chinatown and got home, Im pooped.

CHU XI DAY NUMBER TWO!
Woke up late as usual, dressed up then we waited for a taxi AGAIN to proceed to my grandma's house again.
OH MY GOD this is the worse taxi ride I ever taken!!
okay wait, FIRST we couldn't manage to flag a taxi down.
We waited for soooo long under the hot sun before we could finally get one and a surprise awaited us...
We were engulfed in the strong SCENT of MOTH-BALL
Goodness me!!
At first it was alright, but it just seem to get stronger.
Can you imagine every breath you breathe in is strongly filled with the smell mothball?!
In addition to his driving skills, we were bumped up and down left to right in his taxi that we were ready to throw up!!
I practically scrambled out of the taxi when we finally reached our destination which was at OLD HAVELORD ROAD!!

Was feeling sick all day after that stupid taxi ride.
LEft my grandma's house then had a bite at the Macdonald near her district and off we went to my cousin's house behind Takashimaya.
so cool right, you can just walk over to Taka if you wanna do shopping or stuff.
My cousins the other side cousins were there too.
One 22 one 20 i think.
They live in Australia and they drive cars!!
whoots so cool yeah
They came back to singapore for chinese new year
didn't really get ot talk to them because first i don't htink we have anything to talk about and secondly they were much much older than me. thirdly they speak perfect english fourthly they project themselves better than i do.
okok, in short, we have nothingin common other than being cousins with the same cousins O.o
aw, anyway they ordered pizza and my sis and i were offered a slice each.
The pizza is really great, but it's twice the price than normal
But it's really nice and the ingredients are great!

i only know that my dad really wanted to go to river hongbao but we didn't feel like so we went to .....

okay, it's really slack there of something haha we didn't do anything much, and i watched television programmes after programmes.
oh and my family went to catch a movie at 9.45, JUST FOLLOW LAW!
Damn funny!! =D but for some people they may find it stupid...

Then it was Wednesday
gotta reach school by 7am for meeting then gotta set up mikes for the concert later.
Set up mike and xingkai and tzzzy showed me how to play the music after the bell rings. Stayed in PA room during the whole morning assembly.
haha those people out there weren't allowed to sit down, i think it was because somegirls were wearing skirts and the teachers don't wanna u know, expose the girls.. haha lol
concert was alright, especially when i only had to do my job during CO and that's the end.
overall it was good.

After concert, functions cleaned up the stage.
All sec ones had to stay back for us councillors to bring them back to their priamry school.
Tampines North had a pathetic sum of SIX.
But it's okay, they are a bunch of fun loving people.
haha
Cornelius, Ronald and I brought them back, all the otehr seniors pang sehed us lar.
Nvm.
They grumbled when we said we were to walk from tampines mrt station to tnps.
haha but we stopped at the bubble tea shop for REFRESHMENTS!!

We went separate ways to find our repective teachers when we reached.
corn and i saw eugene!
hha thought he wasn't coming lol
we went to the HOD room to look for Mrs Gan but was chased away by Mrs Low/Loh, the new principal of Tampiens North.
And as a matter of fact, her new listed rule states that WE, ex students of Tampines North are supposed to be in school uniform when we come back for visiting.
And we are not supposed to go in to the staffroom, thrid or fourth level.
we are only allowed to stay in the canteen to wait for our teacher(s) arrival.
LAME POK! so no life leh!!

and only got to see Mrs Gan for a few moments
Because after her meeting, we met her then she was about to go for another meeting before marking her compo scripts.

we went to summer lab for math.
then it was pe.
woah so tiring!

Mr Lim was in a bad mood, we went to the field to do warm up then we ran ten laps i think across teh field.
Every two laps, we did some extra exercises.
after two laps, we did 25 MAN push ups
after another two laps, we did 10 squats
after another two laps we did that push up position thingy but we jump up again.. 10 times
after another two laps, we did 20 sit ups.
the last two laps, we ran all the way up to the filght of steps and down again.
short water break then we had floorball.

Ran five rounds up the stairs then down the other side and round the bball court.
i chionged the first round then tired already, my stamina sucks man.

Then it was hcl which we did a play.

so i told her to wait at the sec four that floor, the staffroom floor.
I went out and waited somewhere outside 4B but see no sight of her. Then it came to me that she maybe waiting for me outside staffroom.
so i ran there but don't see her, just when i was about to turn, i saw a glimpse of green.
it looks like part of the badminton shirt green. Ah ha! it's her!
she returned it and i left it in guitar room. coz i don't want to bring it home today.

then i scooted off to council room
rehearsal at 2pm
as usual..... u know...
then got second rehearsal which went more smoothly.
but i was really pissed.
idiots.

quickly went off coz i was supposed to go out for dinner with them but i got rehearsal so germaine left for tampines, i feel so bad to let germaine and xinlin wait for me so long so i walked faster.
saw huimin at tampines.
i went ot yoshinoya to meet xinlin and germaine and OOOH, weepeng also there.
and they haven't eat, aw i feel badDER..

went to buy our food and the world came crashing down on me.

and huiyi waited for her dad outside general office and then later jasmine went off don't know where.

coz usually we go down in a group, very noisy.
today only two of us!
though it wasn't like awkward in a sense, but it was quiet. as in it's not as bustling as usual thus there seem to be something missing.
aw but anyway thank you germaine for carrying my guitar once again!

I have no homework and no tests tomorrow and plus tomorrow is Friday, it's a really short day!! other than having cny rehearsal after school at 2pm- dunno what time
and i must miss my prac argh later cannot catch up then i DIE.

I wasn't aware of it at all, until i looked up from my paper and i saw him, i was like stunned. Then i quickly look down... haha

during SEL, we went to PAC
and we were supposed to play our games together with the whole class.
our group merged with xiying's and our game was han2 xing4 dian3 bing1.
It was fun to play with 38 people! haha
then it was junni's game, running all around haha and im sorry for making so much noise. oops US i mean
Then it's elizabeth's, jiayu and hufeng's game which is entangled, our group cheated.
lastly it's jiahao and faris's game -WACKO!!
THAT game made me laugh till i toppled.

It was Valentine's day, a couple of minutes ago.
haha but still, happy happy valentine's day people!
Today was hectic
Especially for clara koh and me!
We ran out of plastic wrapping, so i brought mine to school.
And we rushed, trying to do the impossible.
There were still 20+ packets yet to be wrapped.
I have not stick the double sided tape on the hearts.
lol and btw, my hand almost broke yesterday (tuesday) when i was drawing and cutting out those hearts, all 49! siao, draw, cut and wrote "Happy Valentine's! <3>CLARA LEE YY

The only bag i recognised right away was Edison's, coz it's so huge! and i remembered it.

i wanted to buy roses but no more.. so sad..... haha but nevermind i hope next year they will still sell then i will patronise and buy.

FRIDAY:
Reached school just on time for my first functions morning duty since 2007.
I did duty with Joel and Mei Xuan.
We were doing patrolling at the upper sec block.
I wanted to scribble something on weiwei's textbook but i think i saw "benedict" written on it so i thought i got the wrong table.
but it turned out that i was right!
but... oh nvm i shall check it out next week.
And John from 4B startled me haha coz i didn't expect anyone to be in class.
He sprained his leg aw, hurts man.

Mr Chua called the councillors to gather.
I walked back up myself after getting my bag which was locked up in PA room.
lol
Lucky Juwel bumped into me and I lent her my tie.
say im nice!

First period was science, Mdm Hidayah didn't come again and Ms Boh took over her.
Kevin made us laugh!

PE, was fun!
First we had warm up, with corinne being our "instructor"
i think she looks like one! :)
Next we got into pairs and locked our arms together with our backs facing each other.
Then we bend forward and lift our partner off the ground!
so exciting yeah? -.-
I partnered Naomi, she was easy to lift.
After which, we had endurance run for 8mins.
From one end of the length of the basketball court and back again, that's counted as one lap.
Girls are told to break the record of 20 laps
Guys were told to break the record of 25 laps.
One partner run at one time, while the other partner helped to count the number of laps.
Joelle and I started off slow, after 3 laps, i was still telling Joelle that actually it wasn't that hard.
But I was going to die already after 5 laps
haha, my stamina is horrible
Mr Lim was there shouting "MIND OVER BODY! MIND OVER BODY!"
The other partners were also giving us encouragement.
That pe lesson was really rather a bonding time or something man.
Im REALLY glad that I finally finished the 20 laps, but we are told to continue running till 8 minutes was up and so I ran.
24 laps! I did it!

Next it was the other partner's turn.
We gave them encouragement and when we are done, Mr Lim told us we are the best class so far!
aw, i hope it really is, it's been long since I felt a sense of accomplishment.

We decided to play basketball then badminton but it turned out that we were too engrossed in the basketball game that time was up.
Nevermind, we can play badminton next lesson and Im going to play with Naomi, since she is better in badminton than basketball.
Clara, Joelle, Wen Qi and were a team while Chowyen, Germaine, Naomi, Elizabeth and I were a team.
It was really a great game.
haha longggggg time since i had a basketball game.. ever since I entered secondary school there's never really a chance to have a good game of basketball :)
now i look forward to every pe lesson!

Mr Lim asked us to stop as time was up and asked for the basketballs to be returned.
We ended our game and I wanted to have a last few shots before returning the ball.
First was three pointer, i scored!
Then it was foul shot, i almost got in, it rebounded right at me i caught it though.
I wanted to throw it to Naomi but when i throw, she looked away and the ball hit her on the head!
oh man, i feel so guilty.

Faris let me try the pineapple tarts that his mum made and i decided to buy two bottles from him.
One for Mrs Gan and the other for own consumption haha xD

After recess, we had chinese spelling.
man, I couldn't fill in half of it.
Luckily for US, sunli says this is just a practice for us, the real one will be on Monday.
Which is, chapters 3 and 4 and 71-90 of cheng yu!
gee im going to die a terrible death.

There's math test this thursday too.

School ended after chinese lesson.
I ate my lunch and did the SEL project with Corinne then i proceeded to guitar room.
oooh, a bunch of sec ones were already awaiting outside 4B classroom.
At least they are on time.

Mr Shi, Huiyi and Sheau Ling jiejie were with them while Mrs Koh was with the remaining people in guitar room.
Lectures were given and Mrs Koh told us something which made me feel rather sad and at the same time nervous.
Mrs Koh was the one who started guitar ensemble in 1984 and she had been the cca teacher in charge for guitar since for 24 years!
She claimed that NO teacher has ever taken up a cca for 20 over years.
And she added that she is not going to be a cca teacher in charge anymore, i don't know why.
But she want us to work hard for SYF and get a GOLD with honour so that we could at least give her something to rejoice about before she leaves guitar ensemble as we have never gotten three consecutive Golds before.

I felt sad because I'm quite certain that Mrs Koh had put in alot of effort over the years to build up Guitar ensemble but yet the students sometimes dislike her because of her constant nags.
But all she did was for our good.
And now she is leaving guitar ensemble after 20 over years....... how sad!

aw anyway it made me nervous coz it reminded me that SYF is nearing soon.
Febuary is a short month.
March is going to past by in a flash and SYF will soon be round the corner.
*shivers*

And so we practised Mezza Luna and when Mr Shi came back, we learnt the new ending for Mezza Luna.

Xinlin, caho, kuan ren etc came back to receive their O'level results.
Heard that they were not too bad.
haha and i saw the new year book.
It's nice! It's hard covered :)
There's guitar pics inside! whoohoo and i saw my own class photo omg, i looked so retarded inside! But i can't do anything about it so forget it woman. wahaa

Spent a longg time in guitar room after prac was over.
I was starvingggggg!
Left school with germaine, xinlin, cherine, geraldine, weitian and cherie.
huiyi and weiwei went the other way or something.

geraldine and weitian walked so much faster than us, they already boarded the train.
We missed the train when we arrived at the platform.
When the next train arrived, Cherine reached for her shoe bag but it dropped down to the escalator on the metal part beside the . SO FUNNY!
I could see all the bewildered faces of the people on the escalator as they saw the shoe bag slide all the way down.
Germaine and I quickly walked down the stairs with cherine and xinlin right beside us.
There was a old man, (but germaine said it's a woman) who kicked it, i think he wanted to see what it was.
He looked like one who picks up uneanted stuff.
I quickly picked up the show bag and said in chinese "It's mine."
haha so funny.
Cherine, xinlin and I walked up the stairs but germaine went up the escalator and she kept asking why we were walking up the stairs.
haha i don't know either, since i was already walking up the stairs i just decided to continue walking up.
AND yay we missed the train again.
the next train came fast.
and it was crowded.
we managed to squeeze in.
germaine alighted at simei, cherine, xinlin and I proceeded to Tampines to have our dinner.
We went right up to the fourth level at first, then we couldn't decide what to eat so xinlin suggested Yoshinoya so we followed her idea. We took the lift down and every time the door opens we will hear the chinese new year song.

After dinner, we went to century square.
Xinlin and Cherine met their friend. yan ru? haha we went comics connection
Xinlin had the urge to watch movie but cherine has no money plus, it was getting late.
We went home after that, I walked with them to the interchange before walking back home.

oh, when we were walking to the interchange, we were talking about how we would be like around 10 years later.
And i said that if 10 years later i walk on the street and i hear someone say "hoot you ah!" i will know it's xinlin.
And if i hear someone laughing like weiwei/germaine/weepeng, i will know it's them.
And i wonder if those three will still be as close as now.
And xinlin said "yar lor, kan4 dao4 san1 ge4 da4 ren2 zai4 yi3 qi3 xiao4 dao4 zhe4 yang4"
hahah how i wish that after 10 years we could all gather back in anglican high.

i think i won't do good.
i was practically falling asleep during the test.

i quickly jolted from my daze and look up at the clock.

oh my gosh! i heart definitely skipped a beat, then i looked down to my test paper.
BIG PHEW, i finished my last question.
i stapled everything together according to the sequence that li lao shi just announced a few moments ago, and realised taht i left question 7 blank and the other questions are really plain crap.

i think today was rather fun.
haha, we had the calligraphy thingy for ACC today.
we are supposed to write the chinese character "yong3" but it's not the chinese we are writing now, i forgot what's it called.
but the strokes are curly wurly and i think mine was ugly.
the teacher's one was really good man, GU2 ZHANG3!!
You know why gu2 zhang3? -because the teacher kept saying "gu2 zhang3" almost after his every single sentence.
Half of our class was enthusiastic enough to join in with the fun.
i was half dead, half enthusiastic.
sometimes clapped, sometimes didn't.
muahaha.
By the way, i sat with naomi -hers was nice!

For CD, we were all given out dough.
And we are supposed to make something out of it.
Cui Fen jie will help us bake it and return it to us!

i provided Naomi the idea of making a guitar because that was the first thought that popped into my mind.
I wanted to make one too, but mine was not as nice as naomi's so i squashed all the dough together before making my masterpiece -a pile of shit.

They were really nice, because they specially thanked PA after their rehearsal.
aw, it just seems like a BIG yay for me. because being thanked is the greatest reward after hard work.
haha, not exactly HARD WORK, but it's definitely tiring.

went out this morning.
Been shopping for my mum's clothes all day!
my legs are simply aching.
my mum bought me a ear ring for my that ear hole and coz u need to turn the little knob out so that u can slot it in then you turn it back in to secure it.
and my mum dropped the little knob
and we looked like crazy people searching for that small little thing on the ground.
my dad even used a tissue paper to sweep the floor!!
gosh! O.o
then we all went for a haircut, besides my dad.
well, my sister didn't seem like she had a haircut

and i saw alot of people i know.
vanessa, jervis, yunxuan, qinhui, wenjie, jasmine, ben, shuyi, lisa and huifeng.

went shopping for chinese new year groceries... i didn't shop.
i was the one with the trolley.
and there were SO many people, i just can't move freely so i just park myself somewhere near where my family are and stone there.

After making two teachers mad at us today, we came to a realisation that we had already made six to seven teachers mad at our class within this week.
SEL, Math, Geog, Pe, Homec, Eng and Chinese
Reasons for making these teachers angry.
SEL - We weren't paying attention at her AT ALL.
Geog- We were talking.
Homec- i don't know
Chinese- We ended school earlier without telling her that we weren't supposed to, when we all knew it.
Math- We were making too much noise.
Pe- We didn't follow instructions and make a mess outta everything we are supposed to do.

AW, Im feeling so bad...

After school, i went to call upon Mrs Jain.
AND finally, i sat for my English common test that i missed LAST week.
wahaaha
I think i won't do well, coz i forgot how am i supposed to write it.
(oh and i just had de ja vu.)

I went back up to class to get my stuff and saw everyone practising guitar together in 2F classroom.
haha there was claire, naomi, clara, weixiang, mabel, yannis, sheau ling and ME!!

haha we practised a few times then we went down to guitar room.
and we kept on calling huiyi from upstairs, then we hid from view.
wahaha!

OOOh, it's auditons!
At first it was 2 first guitar, 1 second guitar and 2 rhythm
I practised and practised okaaayy with the "usual" people.
Then i got rather fed up.
and i decided not to care afterall.
I mean, not totally don't care.
but don't think too much about it.
And it seriously helped.

haha but when Louisa came and told me "charmaine, it's ur turn next."
I was rather surprised.
haah coz i didn't expect it to be my turn so quickly.
But because i had the "im not going to think too much about it" thinking going on, so i didn't get all nervous.
And guess who were the first guitar people who are playing with me?
weiwei, gemraine and weepeng.
and i was just telling clara and the rest that if i get seniors i will be probably feeling more stressed coz they are better.
and yay, i got seniors.
haha but no stress, COZ i had that thinking activated.
i had to call sean to have the audition with me.
coz we were already running out on the first guitar ppl and there were still many other second guitar ppl not yet auditioned

we had our auditions in 4B classroom.
and it reminded me alot of oral.
coz mrs koh, mr shi, huiyi and geraldine were seated in front of us.
we were seated in an arc shape.
Aaron was the bass, clara lee was rhythm but she went for a break so geraldine took over. i THINK germaine, then weiwei, weepeng then me then sean, the seating arrangement i mean.
to me, sean played softly. but the good thing was weepeng, germaine and weiwei were steady mannnn, hahahah they were consistent in their pace all the way.
IM GLAD.
because i think during pracs i was always rushing or sth.
as what wanting says, we are all rushing at certain parts.
well, i played three wrong parts.
actually the first time was that my finger anil got caught on the string again so there was a hiccup there.
then the second time was the part before my melody. i played wrongly T.T
the third time was the ending, i missed the fret and played on the wrong fret. actually it was because of the reflection that covered the correction fluid dot. but i can only blame myself. haha for not practising till i was really really well familiar with the notes and frets so that i don't need to be dependent on the dots.
haha well, and xinlin told me that mr shi said that i was playing really loud and i covered the rest.
and that my mistakes were heard loud and clear.
hahahaha!
so it's rather unbelievable that i can get in right?
but of course im relieved
at this point of time, i was suddenly reminded of a chinese sentence.
