Counting down to 2009

ha juz read an interesting news. New Year on hold: leap second makes time stand still. Eager to see the back end of 2008? Be forewarned: the world's official timekeeper has decided to prolong the year -- by one full second, to be precise. Which means a Champagne-soaked countdown to 2009 something like this: "...THREE, TWO, ONE-AND-A-HALF, ONE... Happy New Year!" The extra second was mandated by the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service (IERS) in Paris, and is not to be taken lightly. Satellites that orbit at speeds calculated in kilometres (miles) per second, the Internet, global positioning systems -- all depend on knowing exactly what time it is. IERS head Daniel Gambis announced the time-stretching measure in July in a letter addressed to "authorities responsible for the measurement and distribution of time". Haha... long long time din update le... so sorry to my readers ( wondering do i hv readers) ... nvm... coz i juz simply too lazy to update my blog... anyway.... sch holidays is coming to an end soon... ermmm 15 more days to the first day of sch... scarrrryyyyy.... coz 5th Jan to 31st Jan will be my practicum... still dunno wat to expect... i suppose to prepare for my practicum.. BUT.. wat hv i been doing???? ermmm... i think i juz simply busy with other things but yet nth related to my practicum... opppss.... Wat am i busy with?? haha... just do a quick update ba... 11 nov to 14 nov... IT club camp @ PA holiday Chalet.... ermmmmm had quite a healthy lunch and dinner every day coz i decided to cook myself coz Mr Kamal had invited his wife to cook for everyone... and since i cant eat... so i juz cook myself... hahaha.... forget to take photos of the food i cook... but i feel like i am eating korean soup... coz every meal.. my pot was like full of vegetables inside and i always need to sq...
