Paradise soon lost
Due to some coaxing from all the right people, I'm back to blogging once more. With just a measly 6 posts before this, I guess I can't say I really got started to begin with.
A year has gone since my last post, and I have to say, what an amazing one year it has been. It is said that college years are the best years of your life. I guess that's arguable, but in a sense it's hard to deny. For me, so far it has been the most memorable days of my 19 years alive. The company is hard to beat, both new friends and old alike. To be able to get to know them all on a deeper level, I can say confidently and without the slightest of doubt that I have found some friends that I'll keep in my heart, and definately try to keep in contact with for many years to come. A lot of which I've gotten to know from frisbee, and one of which holds a very special place in my heart. And will always.
I guess that's the thing about Taylors A-levels. Unlike HELP's system, we don't get to meet many people in our time at college simply because we're always stuck in the same class and rarely get a chance to meet new faces. On the other hand though, we get to know our classmates a whole lot better. Spending about 8 hours a day, 5 days a week with people really gives you plenty of time to get to know one another. One thing is for sure, I would wish for no other class to be in. 0501PE2, you guys are the most insane and fun class ever! Viva la PE2!
It's definately a blessing that so many of my CHS friends ended up in the same class as me. Ultimately I owe the great time I had in Taylors to Harold, Alex, Kuok Yuen, Kah Fai and Tian Ping. I know I rarely show my appreciation for you guys, but in a totally heterosexual sorta way, I love you guys. Thanks for all the support you guys have shown me, all the crap you shared with me, and for just being the retarded assholes that you are. T'was fun.
As for the rest of my class, I can honestly say that I regret not spending more time with you guys. You guys are a bunch of wicked fun people to hang around. Always laid back, sporting in every way and holding the class together despite the little cliques we so naturally divide ourselves into. Thanks for an awesome trip. One that really wouldn't have been the same without you guys. With all your crazy antics, mad obssesion with gambling and of course lets not forget the bottles of liqour. ;) Ah Kah Fai. You'll always be remembered for that last one. XD
It breaks my heart to know all these wonderful friends I've gotten so close to will be leaving soon. Most of which I might not see ever again. But I guess that's life. We'll meet many amazing people along the way, people that you never want to leave your side. But sooner or later, we have to accept some things aren't meant to last. We can only cherish the time spent with them, hold onto the memories tight and move on.
