First day of pre-school.

'Papa' is Hunter's hero.

Hayden turns one. Where did last year go?

More birthdays....happy b-day to Linds. The most amazing sister I could imagine.

It's super-hero day EVERY day in our house.

I want to have some girls eventually, but I'm loving my boys!!

A bit of Fall....

I am thankful this holiday season for...

The perspective and joy the gospel brings to my life.

Old friends whose friendship remains strong no matter how much time has passed.

New friends that have made this past year a brighter one.

My two boys. The way they laugh and play together. The way Hunter crawls into bed with me each night. The huge smile I wake up to from Hayden every morning.

The Ya Ya's, whose loyalty and trueness exceed all.

The amazing women my brothers have married that I get to call my sisters.

My one and only brother-in-law who I love like a brother and whose opinion I respect more than almost anyone.

A dad who takes the time every day to wrestle with my boys.

A mom who makes everyday life magical for my kids.

A beautiful valley to live in.

My health that allows me to be active and do all the things I love to do.

People in my life that inspire me to be better every time I'm around them.

Those are just a few off the top of my head.....

I gotta feelin'

While I was getting ready to go out last night I heard Hunter in the next room singing a Black-Eyed Peas song! He says it's uncle Jackson's song :) The best part is when he hits the high note!!

Pirate Party & My little Angel

My beautiful blue-eyed baby Hayden is almost 10 months old already!

Since Hunter's birthday falls on Christmas Eve, we decided to finally celebrate his 3rd birthday with a pirate theme.

Let's March!

Writing is not a talent I was given. I started this blog mainly to keep in touch with family and friends scattered across the U.S. But, every now and then I stumble across something I feel passionately about enough to share. I know most of you don't feel you have 15 minutes of your life to share, but this clip was worth my time and might even be worthy of yours :) In the clip, Gordon Brown closed with this:

It is said that in Ancient Rome when Cicero spoke to his audieces, people used to turn to each other and say about Cicero, "Great speech." But it is said that in Ancient Greeece, when Demosthenes spoke to his audiences, people turned to each other and didn't say "Great speech." They said, "Let's march."

I feel like marching.

Crazy month of July

This past week we had our Turnbull reunion that was hosted by my parents this year. We packed in a lot for 2 days with hikes, sliding rock, mountain biking, the "Turnbull Olympics," swimming, skit/talent night, lots of great food and a movie night. In honor of grandpa Turnbull's birthday, my mom made a cake and we talked about the legacy grandpa left behind with his posterity and what it means to be a Turnbull. It's never quite the same without grandpa, but as a convert to the church he has left behind quite a legacy so far.

Lunch at Blue Lemon. Steve and Stephen representing the New Yorkers!

Jordan and Dallin dancing to "Big Ladies"
"Man of Constant Sorrow"

Sliding Rock

Pretty sure I can't escape my "accident prone" title!! This was after I went down with Hunter and gashed my leg against a huge boulder at the bottom.

We started out our 4th of July this year at 1 am. We all packed up and set out to hike Mount Timp with hopes of seeing the sun rise. Unfortunately, there was too much snow to get to the top, so we could only make it 90 % of the way. We had so much fun regardless.

My mom jumped in the back of a random truck and collapsed after our 6 hour hike!! Her mangled foot is below :)

Mom's mangled foot afterwards!!

After the hike, we took the boys horse riding at Broadbents.

Lehi Rodeo

This guy was striking poses all night (we weren't so sly about taking his picture!!)
