Ok, so I want to share this funny story with you. Instead of typing it out I decided to video it. I think it's more funnier this way. LOL!!

Back2Skool Edible Crayons

So I saw this amazing idea for back to school snacks on pintrest, and I had to try it!! So this is what I started with:

Pretzels rods, white melting chocolate, and three food colors of my choice...

Red, Blue, and Green. I wanted to do Pink, but there are more boys then girls in Eden's classroom.

I popped the chocolate into the microwave and warmed it until it was easy to stir


Then I grabbed two more bowls and spooned in some white chocolate.
The food coloring was mine and Eden's favorite part.
She loved stirring the food coloring in and watching the white chocolate change colors.

After a little bit of stirring, it was time to dip the rods.

And dipping we did!! The outcome wasn't neat by any means but we had fun!!

While your pretzel's are drying, grab some construction paper and head to your computer.

Gourmet Mom On The Go has this same tutorial on her blog, as well as a variety of crayon wrappers you can print off to cover your edible crayons.

I chose back to school covers.

So CUTE!

And this is our end result. I thought they turned out great!!

Get to know Eden...

I’m the big sister, I’m three years old.

I like riding my pink trike…I think I do alright!!

I like to play dress up and wear a crown.

I love to go outside to run and jump around.

Splishing and splashing is what I do best

I even stop to smell the flowers; the pink ones are the best!

I’m not a shy girl! I’ll even tell you so!

Meet my horse Cha-cha , I brush his mane to help it grow.


I love riding horses!! It’s the coolest thing around!!

I’m a big HOGS fan, we run those other teams into the ground.


I want you to meet my family, that’s my mom and dad and, that’s little baby Cade he the bestest brother in town!


Meet my grandparents they are the best!








Spending time with them makes me feel blessed.

You see me when I’m smiling!

You see me when I’m mad!

And when I’m with my friend Emma you can see that I am glad!



I like to be silly it’s a great thing to be,

But when I’m real tired I watch Toy Story 3.

Four and more!!!

Happy Anniversary!!! It's been four years since Whitney and I got married on the front steps of Old Main. I can't believe all the wonderful things that have happened to us since then. So, I've decided to share a few of our memories with all of you. I hope you enjoy!!

Whitney, you are an incredible, sweet, loving wife and mother. Everyday I thank God for the blessing that you are to me and the kids. I know that the next forty years will be better than the first four.
