IMAGINATION

I n the fading lights of dusk, M ade in pure colours, A mazing human vision, G ushing life into listless spirits, I find you mesmerizing. N o! You are not real. A ll the same, you are beautiful. THE TALE OF A JINXED FAIRY

T he salve of the dew- H ushing tones of a breeze- E nthralling the world- T he making of a fairy. A pure soul refurbished. L ove binds her spirit. E ngaged in draping silken dreams. O ne day there is a visitor F rom far-off shores. A magical tale begins. J ust as the two mingle into one, I mminent danger appears. N othing seems to be in place. X enophobics appear in ethereal lands. E bbing the visitor away from the fairy. D eath awaits the charmed guest. F orlorn, crestfallen is the angel. A waiting to meet her destiny. I llogical emotions get better of her. R egrets her deathless life. Y et the wait never ends for the jinxed fairy....

ACROSTIC - ANOTHER ATTEMPT

A nother bright day - C hallenging the spirit of man. R oused from slumber of sloth, O verpowering the base desires, S eemingly naïve yet motivated mind, T akes on enemy camp unexpectedly. I t is a sight to lo and behold ! C arving a niche for self in the wide world.

ECHOES OF SILENCE

E ver since you went, C hoosing roses has been painful. H ustling into an empty room, O vercoming you is impossible. E very evening I feel you’re S inging me the tunes I so loved. O ften I see the bird you tamed, F illing the air with rancour, just like you did. S hadows of night soothe my wounds; I still catch your glimpse in my dreams. L oving you all over again, E nraptured by your sweet nothings. N ebulous memories keep me afloat, C rushing all realities, I lie E namoured , smitten by our brief encounters .

S cuttling through untrodden paths, T he narrow bylanes, not a soul around, I was indeed lost - Drops of rain C hased me - but Ahoy! a way was found.
