This is an example of what happens when I get happily carried away and am not quite sure when to stop. I just felt like doing a bit of vintage, forgetting that there is a reason why I don't do it too often. It just never comes out quite right.
I used a Bildmalarna stamp (love their cute girls) and paper from Websters Pages. Image was coloured with Prismacolour pencils, then accentuated with some Stickles and clear glaze.
All the papers and cardstock were distressed with either TH crackle paint or white pearlescent acrylic paint.
Big leaves are a Sizzix die, smaller ones EK Success punch. All the flowers and leaves are sprayed with Glimmer Mist and smothered with Stickles.
I covered the bird on patterned paper with Crackle Accents to add some interest to the bottom of the card, it was becoming VERY top-heavy. lol
All the trims and ribbons are from my stash, really don't remember where I got them. Sentiment is from Elzybells.
I also used HOTP Stamped Stitches acrylic stamps.
I would like to enter into following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - Dimensions
Simon Says Challenge - It's So Distressing
Stamptacular Sunday - Flower Power
Thanks for looking and happy crafting!
Hugs
Annika

White and blue...
...one of my favorite combinations.
And I love those cute Bildmalarna girls. :) I coloured her in with Promarkers and used loads of chunky glitter and some gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and Papirloftet.
Border punch is from Woodware, book plate from Poppicrafts and patterned papers Makin Memories. I also dug out some Bazzill tulle and some HOTP stitch stamps. Corner dies are from Sizzix.
Thanks for looking!

Poor light and mad colours
I seriously need some better lighting at my crafting desk. It's located in probably the darkest corner of the household which originally was an intention as it used to be my computer table and I hate when light glares onto my monitor.
Things have changed though. Even if I'd only use it as a computer table I now have nice widescreen LCD monitor which my beloved hubby gave me for my birthday. Yes, he is lovely. No, you can't have him. So there.
Last night I TOTALLY misjudged the colours while colouring my image and the result is positively mediterranean as opposed to muted vintage chic. Boo-hoo. I tried to tone things down a bit with pale papers - I am starting to like Lily Bee stuff now.
Just imagine the image in soft pale colours now and you see what I tried to achieve. :D
I have seen those litte portable daylight lamps on sale in craft shops online, think I might give one of those a try first!I was following a sketch from Friday Sketchers - it's lovely and very easy to work with!
Card recipe:
Cardstock Bazzill bling & Bazzill Kraft
Patterned papers from Lily Bee and Joanna Sheen
Stamps: main images from Bildmalarna, sentiment Elzybells, stitches HOTP (I think)
Inks: Memento Tuxedo black, Rich Cocoa and Sand
Colouring medium: Whispers markers
Flowers: More of the chain store cheapies I took apart and also some Primas
X-cut butterfly punch
Ribbon, charm and brads from my stash
Thank you for looking!

Mimosa and her quiet moment with coffee and cream
Friday Sketchers has a lovely sketch this week - well, I'm a bit late posting my card but better late than never, right?
I coloured little cute Mimosa with Whispers markers and went a bit mad with sparkle gel and metallic rub-ons.
Materials:
PP - Joanna Sheen & K & Co
Pearls: Ebay
Flowers: Prima & Joanna Sheen
3D paint from Pebeo, vine die from BossKut
Image from Bildmalarna
Thanks for looking!

Weird tendencies in Casa Messy
Now this is becoming a wee bit unsettling.
Once again I set out to make a card with a VERY clear idea in my head about how it should look like.
And of course ended up with something utterly different.
I suspect a crafting poltergeist or forces of cosmic misfortune or something in these lines.
Anyways, the card is for 2 Sketches 4 U challenges and for once I actually followed Lauras sketch quite precisely ... or that's what I think.
Sigh.
Oh yes, and due to the baba howling I didn't have enough time to take a better picture. Sorry.
Papers are DCWV Garden Party, Cardstock Bazzill, rub-on Melissa Frances, stamps Bildmalarna (adore their stuff!) and lace from my stash.
I HAVE started on bonus sketch as well and might even finish it in this decade if the stars are right.
Double sigh.
Thanks for looking!
