I'm in full blown Easter mode and on a bunny roll! Although I'm not a huge fan of eating Marshmallow peeps (I'll take chocolate covered Marshmallow bunnies any day!) I thought they would make a cute set of tags. I started out with a yellow set and have also made them in pink and lavender but don't have a photo yet.
I made Easter bunny wreath using a 6" grapevine wreath that I painted and glittered, added some Easter grass, paper mache eggs that I painted and glittered, a wood fence, a cute little stuffed bunny and a big pink bow.
I love shaker cards and had this polka dot paper by October Afternoon and it reminded me of gumballs so it was the base of a gumball machine card. I'm going to use the same shape to make Snow globe cards for Christmas. I've got all kinds of ideas for snow globes!
Another cupcake card using one of my favorite Papertrey Ink dies with pinks and browns. I used different fabrics for the frosting.
Easter tags with glittered eggs and some little rolled roses that I made. I just love pastel colors for Easter!
And lastly a shabby card using a Melissa Frances resin frame, some vintage crochet scrap and a butterfly charm.
Have a lovely week!

Fall to Spring
Seems like we went from Fall to Spring with no winter this year which I'm really sad about because I would of loved at least a little snow. But winter is not over yet and I still have hope to see a snowflake!
I've been working on some Easter projects that I wanted to share. I made the pocket from a pre-made card and turned it sideways and cut part of the front off, then sewed up the sides. Bunny tags are stamped and glittered and carrot tags are felt and machine stitched.
I made a set of tags using the Papertrey Ink egg die cut from lightweight chipboard, then I painted, speckled and glittered.
A furry bunny card using a sizzix card die which is one of my new favorites.
A baby card using a discontinued Melissa Frances die cut from my stash.
Our dog Jack killed a skunk last week in the middle of the night right next to the house. The house immediately started stinking like skunk, it was the worst smell ever! You know when you drive by a road kill skunk and stinks really bad and you plug your nose and go "ewwwww", imagine that smell in your house for a few days and nothing you do can get rid of it. I used Lysol, candles and opened windows and finally after a few days the smell started going away. Jack got 4 baths that same day (by Terry, I wouldn't go near the dog!) two with dog shampoo and two with a baking soda, peroxide and dish soap mixture found on the internet which was supposed to get rid of skunk spray. Jack still stinks though and when the weather get's nice again he will get a few more baths. I sure hope he learned a lesson and will stay away from skunks next time!
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
