Just popping in to say hello and hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season!
I got my tree up finally, I decorated it in a pear, silver and white color theme this year.
I took one photo at night, one during the day and one close up of the tree. On the close up photo you can see some glass snowflakes that I made many years ago with a Martha Stewart Snowflake kit, they were so easy and so much fun to make.
I've been making Christmas items for months now and I have to say I'm just about done and ready to move on to Valentines and Easter! I've recently got the Cupcake Die from Papertrey Ink and made a few cards with it, what a fun die to use!
I made another Heart Pocket and filled with tags. I made the flowers from felt and fabric and the flower trim was ivory and I painted it white and coated it with glitter.
And a Christmas Card using a Melissa Frances Resin Wreath.
Hope you have a wonderful rest of the week!

Baby it's Cold Outside!
It's a brisk 27 degrees this morning and I love it! Now if we can only get some snow!
The cold weather has brought the lady bugs back in the house, not a lot but they entertain the cats especially when they are on the ceiling.
I've been making some little gingerbread houses lately....
I filled this one with gingerbread men ornaments...
Got an early start on some Valentine projects...
These are the tags I filled it with..
Found these adorable gold cupids at the craft store, I couldn't wait to use them on a project!
Made a shabby card using a chipboard house...
And lastly a shabby Tussy that I filled with little tags...
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Cooler Days Ahead
Seems like all my recent blog post titles have had something to do with Fall, probably because I love this time of year and look forward to the cooler weather so much!
Seeing Halloween is just around the corner and I don't have any new cards to share, I thought I post a photo of a creepy snake! I think this is the last one, at least I sure hope it is! This big non-poisonous snake decided to visit the dog kennels and it was not a pretty site. The dogs were all barking and the snake was trying to get the dogs through the kennel fence and our one dog Jack who was out at the time was trying to get the snake and it kept lunging at him. I had my camera and asked the snake to pose for me and he did (NOT!) I just happen to click at the right time and got this photo. Thankfully he slithered away and I haven't seen it since.
Now for some crafty things, no more snakes!
I made this Christmas wall hanging using chipboard as the base and a 6" grapevine wreath that I painted and glittered up. I added some wood fencing, bottle brush tree and some little sparkly pom poms for snowballs.
A few ornament hangings......
And a snowman wall hanging. I painted the wood tree and snowman years ago and finally decided to do something with them!
I did work on a shabby photo album this summer.
And lastly some tags, I do love to make tags!
We have some very special friends from out of state coming to visit first weekend in December, they will be our first guests in our new home. So that means I've got to finish the painting downstairs as I have completely put it aside. I still have to paint the two exterior doors, 3 interior doors, laundry room doors, mud room door and lots of trim. My main priority is the guest bath, that I can do! Good thing everything is primed and is white as the rest might have to wait until spring!
(I don't like to paint!)
Wishing everyone a lovely week!

Signs of Autumn
Our trees are just starting to get a tint of yellow, pretty soon we will have the beautiful colors of fall. However, I don't look forward to all the leaves I have to rake!
I just wanted to pop in and say hello and share a few things I've made. I've enjoyed making Gingerbread House cards.
And a few cards using Sizzix dies.
And recently a set of Santa Tags.
And some fun little wood shaped stars that I hand painted and made into gift tags.
Wishing everyone cooler days ahead, I know I'm certainly looking forward to them!

End of Summer
I can imagine the leaves changing and cooler days ahead, I'm ready to say goodbye to Summer and hello to Fall! And most of all, goodbye to the Snakes!
There hasn't been too much progress going on with our landscaping as it's just been too hot but hopefully we will have the grass planted soon. Next year we should have a wonderful lush green lawn, but I can wait!
Here are some cards that I've made in the past month, I've even started on Halloween and Christmas.
Remember way back before Cricut and Sizzix when there was only pre-cut die cuts in the bins? I've been hanging on to this Haunted House for years and decided to finally use it. I fussy cut the little witch out from a Cavallini & Co. postcard.
Little witch on this card is Crafty Secrets.
I used chipboard, glitter, burlap and some little black wings I recently purchased.
I made a banner using twine and fabric scraps, card also has chipboard and glitter, my two favorite things!
And a few Christmas cards...
I embellished a chipboard house on this first card.
I used chipboard, glitter and a K & Co. die cut on this next card.
And a Fall card set I recently made. I used cardboard and acrylic paint for the background.
Even though I've been in the Fall mood lately, I did squeeze in a few girlie cards.
I used one of my vintage bingo cards, a grapevine heart and a Melissa Frances rub-on on this card.
Die cuts on these next two cards are 3 Birds Found Treasures.
And my favorite new die from Tim Holtz, I cut the dress form die with chipboard, then fabric.
That's about it for now. Hope all of you have a wonderful week!
Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting!
Annette :)
