Adorable kitties!
Here are the stray kitties that we are temporarily taking care of. I really hope we find them a home soon! I brought them outside of the shop today and they were running all over the place, it was hard to keep up with both of them as one went one way and another one went the other way! They did manage to catch a butterfly but I got them away from it before they did it any harm. They are just so cute, I hope I can find a home for them before I get too attached!
Such a long process.....
Finally got the floor down in the attic space, which will be my future scrap space!!! Still waiting on the electrician to come back, hopefully this week to finish up. One more day is all he needs then we can get the plumber in!!!!Hoping for a September move and keeping my fingers crossed. Here is a photo of my new pantry door that I can't wait to get installed! Attached a photo taken from the master bedroom window, you can see how close we are to the large pond. It is so cool being surrounded by water! We have the lake at the back of the property, a super large pond on the other side, which you can't see until the fall, then the other pond across the street! Also a photo of the back of the house, which will be part of the add on next year. The window on the bottom left, will be taken out and that will be the entry way into the new dining room, then there will be a step down into the big living room area. The wall that you see that has no windows (guest room on the other side) will be part of the living room and it will extend further out past the house, to the right if your looking at it from the back, not sure how many feet yet. It depends on what the architect comes up with. We will add another porch with a double atrium door, which will be on the front of the add on. It will increase the square footage of the house. But..... that is all just a plan at this stage and hopefully a reality next year!!! Final photo is the lake at the back of the property at Sunset! Beautiful - can't wait to get moved in and sit in a chair with a glass of wine and watch the sunset!
Thanks for looking!

Still Christmas in July!
I made these tags recently using my Sizzix dies. How cute would they be on a brown kraft bag with red ribbon! I am so ready for fall! Don't mind the summer thunderstorms though, they are pretty cool! House is coming along, the upstairs 3rd floor and back porch steps should be finished this weekend! Yay!!!!!!!!! The guy is coming tomorrow to start working on them. Will post pictures. I am so excited because the 3rd floor will be my own space, craft room and storage area for Christmas and whatever else I have to decorate with!

Christmas in July
Hello! Working on a few Christmas cards and gifts. The gingerbread man is part of a 4 piece tag set that I am working on. He is not finished but thought what I had so far would look so cute standing next to this card I made. He was cut from the Gingerbread man Sizzix die, the newest one. I have both dies but the second one seems to have a little more character than the first one. I can't believe Christmas is 5 months away! I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will be in the new house for Christmas. It will be so exciting when we add on the living room and dining room, there will be a big rock fireplace, oh I can't wait to decorate it!!! Maybe next year?????????? I saw the cutest and biggest turtle at the property a few days ago, his shell was about a foot long and he stopped when I walked up to him, when I came back a few minutes later, he had gone about 20 feet and was heading towards the pond. That is the second turtle I have seen on the property, other than the ones that hang out on an old log that has fallen into the water, every time I go near, they jump in the water. I have got to get a photo of them!!!! Oh, if anyone wants the coconut cupcake recipe, please email me and I will send to you, in any format you request!
Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!

Summer Fun!
I hope everyone is having a great summer! My sister and I had a great time in Cherokee and TN. I started this card about a month ago and just finished it up the other day. It makes me want to go to the beach! I designed the beach ball myself, drew the starfish and highlighted it with souffle pens, I made the pail also. Lots of sewing involved but it was oh so fun to create! Have a great day!

One day late!
Didn't get a chance to post my Patriotic tag I made because of severe thunderstorms yesterday. We had a great time at my sister's BBQ, ate way too much! I made the yummiest coconut cupcakes! Will post the recipe at a later date so other's can enjoy, they are definitely not fat free! I am off to clean today, do laundry and semi-pack for my trip next week. My sister and I are going to Cherokee and Gatlinburg for a few days. Hopefully I'll get a few good photos to post!
Have a great weekend!

P.S. I am posting the Star card on July 22nd, a few weeks later! I just finished it recently as one of my old catch up projects and wanted to post it with the tag as they were the same theme.
Thanks for looking!
