the exhibition was, well, not so bad afterall. estella, i take back my words. i wasn't exactly bored to tears. i said that cos i had tears in my eyes after all that yawning. hahaha.

other than being sick of having to stand for 4 whole hours, i was rather happy for the entire opening ceremony. thanks to my dearest aep friends - lyly shum charm junhua blahblah - i was kept entertained. filling our hungry stomachs with refreshments, going around looking at artworks, taking photos, exchanging blazer with junhua! that crazy girl. she looked like a serial killer in the sa blazer. HAHA. i miss them so much. seems that lyly's having fun in hwachong.

and i got to know melvin, fellow saint! he smacked me today and he's ECCENTRIC. i think. (judging from his artwork) i mean, which art student isn't? cool bananas. he better not ps me tomorrow or I'LL be the one smacking him.

oh and i saw SIQI!! with her art class. she looked so cute in the rj uniform! (: i heard about her story and felt really uncomfortable about it. sigh. what is the world coming to?

have i mentioned that 2 people asked me for my autograph? aww. hahaha. feels so good! it'd probably be a once in a lifetime thing. hahaha.

i'd like to say a big THANK YOU/xie xie/danke/merci/arigato to everyone, anyone who went to view the exhibition or expressed interest in going. i really appreciate it and i really thank God for it.

okay enough about the exhibition. let me talk about today!

house time! LOY FATT. i'm the house rep for my cg. proud to be a loy-fatter even though i was previously from hose. they had this "so you think you can dance" contest among all the representatives from each cg. one of those guys could dance really well! he did break dance somemore. michael, the potential singapore idol sang a song for all of us and it was WOAH! top 100 indeed. he'll do sajc proud i'm sure! (:

spent like 1 hour in the cafe crapping with a group of beloved s14 females. none of the males joined us, except for abbas who sat with us for awhile. females rule. minqi and abbas: go run for student council! you guys already have my vote. (:

anyway, after that was band! individuals were really productive for me today. at first elissa and i were the only ones at the benches where the saxophone people usually go to. then more and more people started joining us. heh it was cool. cos we were all practising our own different instruments and it wasn't long before we were drowned by all the different sounds. french horn, trombone, oboe, bassoon, saxophone..

many of them went to catch a movie after prac. i didn't go so i continued practising in the band room with pam and shioks. PAMELA IS INSANE. she tried playing my saxophone and SHE COULD PLAY REALLY WELL. even though she had no experience with it. she even taught me how to play Amazing Grace. so i had loads of fun playing the melody while she harmonised using her clarinet. it was superbly insanely fun.

i'm loving the saxophone more and more each day! (:

anyway, i watched the land before time just now! and i realised that as we grow up, we obtain a better understanding of our emotions and how we should feel. for example, i can't remember feeling much when i watched it as a kid, perhaps only being fearful of 'sharptooth'. but it's not the same anymore. it's more than just cute little dinosaurs running away from big and scary ones. i felt a jumble of emotions during the course of the movie.

cartoons. there are more to them than it meets the eye of a child. afterall, adults created them, not kids. i believe there are lessons in every cartoon. i think it just takes a more mature mind to fully comprehend these lessons.

i will always love cartoons. and i want my cartoon network back. grr.

this was a great day!

band prac today was good. I SAID GOODBYE TO SQUEAKS! and i think i did make improvements in my long notes and fingerings. and i learnt how to tongue! *flutters tongue* yay so basically today was a GREAT LEAP FORWARD for me. (exaggeration lah) eh i hope squeaks won't find me again. i'll cry if they do. hate them.

i hate my cough too.

went to clementi mrt after lunch. i took the train with ms ho! (: she's super funky can. honestly i've never seen such a teacher who can blend in so well with students. furthermore, she was from nyps and nygh. so like me, she had worn the hongzi for 10 years! haha.

highlight of the day was at new town secondary. i had a briefing for next week's art exhibition. guess what? I SAW CHARM AND SHUM. seeing them really made my day! and their hwachong friends were nice. took a looooong bus ride home with charm. it took us, what, 2hours!? i enjoyed the ride though. and charm, i'm sorry if i'd blasted bacteria unto your face!

i miss my aep bus partner.

anyway, it seems that the art exhibition is going to be a HUGE event. uh-oh. how is dot going to handle it? ah at least i'm not alone in this. i just discovered today that one of the student artists is my current cgmate! not that i've talked to him yet, but what a coincidence. well, hope all goes well on the actual day.

the sorethroat has finally mutated to cough and running nose. viruses and bacteria are throwing slumber parties everywhere. and the poor saxophone is already half-infested with them. the other half is saliva. exploding cough tendencies are more common than ever.

i just need to sleep. to lay my head against the pillow and to fall into deep slumber. maybe tomorrow will be a better day. like, NO MORE COUGHS! (:

s14.. let's go play level pig again one day!

i miss them. i miss the violent yet hilariously funky PE lessons. i miss squeezing and catfighting in front of the goal with the girls. i miss standing around AGAIN (inside joke)! i miss ponning tutorials to slack in the fitness corner. i miss gossiping with them. i miss all the insane phototaking. i miss the YEAH MANs. i miss the high-ness when playing carrom. i miss all the fun times we had in the SC. i miss those trips to potong pasir macs. i miss class breakfasts, lunches and dinners. i miss all our tutors.

i miss them so much.

i realised something. i only went for prac ONCE this week. don said i kept pangseh-ing him. no good at all. i resolve to be more diligent from now onwards. this tuesday's lesson was superb. thank God for that. "that's great! at least you managed to blow a sound," said andrew. i hope i can sustain this and improve even further. (:

guess what? rachlee's in the same og as me! i'm so excited. we can go to school and go home together again. you wouldn't know how much it matters to me to have that one piece of nanyang i'm familiar with in sa with me.

og13 is split into two! so now i'm in og19. can i call it og13+6 instead? because you know.. life in sa for me started with og13, and it was definitely a great start. but the sad thing is, many of them are in og18. so now my og has quite a number of unfamiliar names. ahhhh. OG19, LET'S COMBINE FORCES!

haha we're having class outing at changi airport on sunday. i was the one who suggested the airport cos it's such a cool and innovative location. okay, but on 2nd thoughts, this is sheer madness.. it's so far! and i guess i'll miss our class quite alot. i mean, those days spent with them were really memorable. especially standing around, our s14 special talent.

GP today was funny! jingyu and her american accent, kah fai and his thai accent, abbas and his indian accent! LOL. my stomach hurt so much from all the laughing. even mr foo was amused. you see, it's times like these that really make me miss my class more and more.

eunice once said i have the rj look. woah i'm so honoured man. she also said i absolutely do not have the hwachong look. even pei thinks so too. but hey! i like the hwachong uniform. yes it's muddylicious. i'm so happy for lyly! she's going there for 2nd intake. and she promised to fill me in with all her hwachong news. GRIN. lyly and matong, i'll miss you guys so much. art classes won't be the same anymore without the both of you.

will things be different again next week? i really wonder.
