e long overdue post

~~~~~Bangkok trip~~~~~

went on a 5D4N trip to bangkok with my darling...

took jetstar airbus...12 plus flight

us on the plane to bkk. look at our couple specs..hee =)

ohh ya..the mac there is cheap. we order 2 set meals, 1 additional drink, one choco banana pie n one cappuccino macflurry and i think it cost oni $10

headed down to all those branded stores to check out their prices. went to their Burberry and i saw e top i bought recently. original price was $160 and i bought it at a sale for $98. guess how much they r selling over there? its abt S$240. so much more expensive than spore!

went to siam paragon. didnt tot tt we'll buy much stuff there bt we ended up spending quite a fair bit there. they were having a 3-day sale n e day we went was e v first day. both of us spent abt $200plus there. btw, i realised their real branded stuff is more ex than s'pore. if it's not for the sale and tt we get to enjoy 5% discount and another 7% refund, i dont think we'll buy anything..

had our buffet breakfast at e hotel restuarant. e spread is not bad. alot of choices.. mixed of chinese n western food. decided to go down to the Chachuchak weekend mkt!

took tuk tuk back to hotel to put our stuff.

first time taking it. e driver is quite fierce. fierce in terms of driving. kept over-taking other cars and tuk-tuks. inhale alot of the bad air there. but its nice to take the tuk tuk in e evening coz it isnt hot and it'll b v windy(provided u dun mind ur hair ended up being v messy).

rested for awhile in e hotel before we head to Suan lum night bazaar

suppose to go to the floating market early in the morning.

but we actualli woke up at 10plus bkk time! which is like 11 plus Spore time..haha

overslpt till we even missed our breakfast..

spent e afternoon shopping at MBK...bought several stuff over there..but the most we bought is foodstuff. we actually bought S$90 plus worth of foodstuff!

back to hotel ard evening, changed n went for swimming! our hotel has two swimming pools and a jacuzzi..decided that we should spent some relaxing time at pool after so much of shopping..

back to hotel to bath n dress up after swimming, n off we go to watch show~ interesting interesting~ its amazing wad they can do with their bodies..

shopped ard patpong mkt..e sidewalks of the mkt are all lined up with clubs whr u can see women dancing sexily inside. then there's ppl outside each pub dragging guys to go in.. things r expensive there. its actually e same stuff i saw at MBK n yet they sell it so much more ex.

breakfast at usual..then headed to pratunam market. things there r v cheap too..darling bought realli nice jerseys over there...

back to hotel in the evening to put our stuff before we went out to look for nice massage parlor...found one that was pretty big and the person keep introducing their packages to us n emphasizing that the rooms r v clean. we were told tt we can take a look to see if we like it. there were diff kind of rooms there. single bed room, two beds room, or 6 beds room. the place was pretty scary coz its so big n quiet..we settled for the traditional thai massage in the twin sharing room so tt me and darling will be together in the same room. the massage was realli reallie comfortable. their thai massage skills are realli good. one and a half hour of full body massage.. shiok! those who have not tried it should visit one someday.

after the massage, we went to eat at the steakhouse before we go back to pack our loads of stuff..

had our last breakfast at the hotel..dressed up and left for the airport. took the 2 plus flight and was back spore in the evening..home sweet home~

to sum it all up..i had a wonderful holiday with darling in bangkok.

will visit there again!

haven been using e com at my hse lately...started wk for two weeks. every weekday, i hav to wake up early in the morning, go to the office to work, n when its evening time, either go out or go home. sometimes when u think abt e fact that u need to wake up so early e next day, u rather go home n catch as much slp as possible than going out till late. im a gal who needs lots of slp. at least 10 hrs. but i dun seem to be getting that everyday. hai..

ohh ya..im working at raffles..close to darling..smtimes i'll catch lunchie with him. but usually wif my colleagues eileen. well, those wking ard tt area we can meet up for lunchie somedays. =) wk's pretty slack now. pay n benefits r pretty good. im currently under on-job-training, so im actually sitting beside eileen(who is oni 3 yrs older than me) everyday n learn from her. its pretty boring becoz i roughly hav an idea whats going on, but there's no much of a hands-on. u know, its different btw listening n understanding, n the actual doing of the work. so now, i basically chit chat with her all e time while im was beside her. haa.. n e both of us always leave office on time. haha.. sometimes i think its not v nice to leave on time coz not many ppl in my office do that(in fact v little). but when i think abt it again, who cares? my work's done n its time to go. hai..wk life is realli boring. bt that's smth all of us eventualli hav to go thr. when its fri, i'll v happy coz its weekend, bt when its sun, i'll b so bored that i've gt to wk e next day...

this week's diff. coz there's labour day!! woaho..how i love public holidays now. esp when it falls on a Fri or Mon. coz it wil means Long Weekend!! =) im gleaming at the thought of it. not to forget that there'll b another holiday at the 14th (Fri). =) wahaha...

ohh ya..darling's dad's birthday falls on labour day. so yest we went to Imperial Court at Suntec. they serve teochew food there..but i dun realli like the food there. their Mei Chai Kou Rou is v v nice..but e else is pretty below avergae to me. yup. after tt went back to darling's place for cake cutting. durian cake from emicakes! yummy~ e filling inside is soo nice...

this week is super long weekend for me..coz im sick todae..bad flu since yest. so took an mc todae. e thing good abt work is tt, u dun hav to pay a cent for ur medical bills n u still get paid for being on mc! how nice! n i've gt 30 days of medical leave to utilise. i think that is realli alot.hee

did i mention i gt a job at uob? i've passed the 2nd interview wif them n got myself a job as an officer in the treasury dept. im pretty satisfied with the job i've gt..coz i think i'll b able to learn alot

well, been slacking ard since end feb..enjoying myself(as u can see from my previous entry)..n now,im gg to start work tml!!! no more weekdays shopping..no more sleeping till 12 plus...no more of lazing around...argh!somehow i wish tml nv comes..bt i need money..hai..

spent e weekend with darling..a nice one before i start wk..darling took leave on thur..n he suggested gg wild wild wet. i've been there before, nth much, a place u can oni spent e most 2 hrs coz there's limited rides..bt i've nv been there with darling before so i agreed. tot it might be a lil boring coz its juz e two of us..bt i was wrong. we had a realli relaxing n enjoyable day. actualli spent sooo long over there n we didnt even realised it! we had fun taking e rides over n over again coz we wana get a good picture, playing in the playground like kids, drifting away in the shiok river, riding the waves n juz lazing around in the jacuzzi(there's oni e two of us in the jacuzzi!its like its ours) its a diff kind of feeling when u go with a group of frens and when u go with love one.. although its oni the two of us, we still had lots of fun.

went kiddy palace to choose darling's fren's baby girl full month prezzie..gt a 10 piece set of clothes for the baby..kid's stuff r soo cute..esp gals one... went over to darling's fren's place..they had a buffet at the void deck..e food was real appealing...mani choices..

went over to tm after tt..gt myself a new foundation, a scrub and some facial stuff.. after tt was pool at pavilion..its been pretty long since i last played there..

darling had to work in the morning..but its ok..coz he came back not long after i wake up..went jalan besar to swim..haven been there for some time..it was darling's dad chinese bdae so he gave all of us a treat..it was a sumptous feast. there's chilli crab, butter crab, deer meat, pork chop, chicken cutlet, ginseng chicken, fried egg, mapo tofu, nonya fish n lala! yummy yummy~ i think me n darling have grown fat from all these eating...went up Mount Faber before gg back to darling's place...

today

we woke up real late..1 plus..had lunch at darling's place..didnt go out coz it's raining heavily..went back together to my place..had mac while watching e charity show..did u guys saw e lil boy that played piano while slyvester sim played his electric guitar? he's so handsome n cute!!

aniwae..all in all..i wana sae tt i had a realli wonderful weekend. sometimes i think all of us shld take a break from everything, be it work or studies and juz relax ourselves. i did it n i feel real good n recharged.

ohh ya...i hope work tml will be good...goodnite everybody..im off to slp...
