Ann writes beautifully about this...this acceptance.
She quotes, “I’ve been rejected for my size — but Jesus takes all of me.”
Yes, this. Jesus takes all of me...no matter what. I must stop longing for change from those who continue to judge and reject me, and lean in to Jesus. He takes all of me.

A picture intensive post to update you!
Halloween has officially come and gone...another one down in the books. I had a rodeo clown (Natalie) and a bush (Levi). Yes, he really wanted to be a bush. We decked him out in camo, complete with a hunting hood (face mask thingy), hot glued a few leaves and sticks that he collected from the yard on a cape made from hunting drape, and voila! We had ourselves an awesome bush! The rodeo clown was amazing in her HUGE britches, suspenders, and wacky tights! So much fun.
Here are a couple of pics...
Okay, I'm off to do some housework. 2 loads of laundry down, paleo banana bread in the oven, and lots more to do!
Happy Fall Y'all!
PS - Our house is still on the market...we've lowered the price. Almost 1900 square feet of living goodness, plus fabulous amenities. Tell your friends!
My back entry way...all decked out for fall!
Last year a tornado ripped through my parents' farm and tore the barn to shreds. It was devastating. On our weekend visits, we have been helping to demo the barn. See that 'barn' behind the kids? It is no longer there. After LOTS of hard work, and a ton of laughter, we got it taken down. Now my dad is planning his new barn! Fun times on the farm!
One day I decided to take the kids to the state park for some hiking. Here are a couple of shots of them as we hiked and enjoyed our day together.
I LOVE this one!
In other news, I voted. I look thrilled, right? My theory on the current election is that choosing whom you will vote for is like choosing your favorite mosquito from the swarm. I'm not convinced there are any great options, so we will make the best decisions we can, and pray for the Lord to work mightily.

Ha! You just thought that was a bush! It was actually Levi! :)
We thought this one was funny. The way Nathaniel took the picture, it looks like Natalie the Rodeo Clown is flying!
We have been picking pecans like crazy! It is something fun that the kids and I enjoy while we are visiting my parents' farm. So far we have taken 30 pounds to be cracked. We left them for Nathaniel to shell...you're welcome honey! We have also picked another 10-15 pounds that we haven't even cracked yet! I cannot wait to do some holiday baking with pecans we processed ourselves. Paleo dessert recipes, here I come!
Levi is looking adorable without those two front teeth. He is thrilled that he will be able to sing, "all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!" He even has the cutest little lisp going right now! Love.
