Graduation

It finally happened! Jonny graduated July 20th 2012.  We had some fun times in Rexburg, but it is a good feeling being out of the college life and into the real world, though it's not real life yet since we are homeless and jobless for the time being.  I will have to admit that I am going to miss our little home in Rexburg.

Taylor is 10 months and on the verge of walking.  He's very busy and very happy!  We have had a fun summer (being jobless gives more time to play).  We had a fun week up in Washington, the weather was so perfect there.  We then had a long long trip down to Arizona, but we are now here in Arizona again while we find a job, we are very blessed to have a family that will give us a job while we find something more suitable.  We've been having fun boating, and enjoying the warm weather of Arizona.  In August we got to go see my parent in their new home in Wisconsin.  Jonny had never been to Chicago so we had fun seeing the sights, going to six flags, going to the zoo, touring a beer factory, and playing on the beach (my mom kept us busy the WHOLE time).

I am praying that we won't be stuck in limbo for too long and that we can start our next life adventure soon.

6 months has already passed since Taylor was born and life is good!  We've done a lot since I last wrote, Jonny became a pro snowboarder by ditching me every Friday to go snowboarding over the winter break and he's pretty proud of all the cool tricks he learned.  He also finished his internship with monkey bar storage and has started school back up again.  We are so happy to say that he graduates this July! Only 3 more months of living in Rexburg then we are off to the real world.  We are still on the search for a jobs, but hopefully one will come our way.

Taylor was blessed on March 4th, 2012.  He was already 4 months when we blessed him, but oh well.  Jonny's parents came up for it and Claire, Steve, and Lauren did too.  It was fun to have everyone come for his blessing.  Jonny gave him a nice blessing and Taylor looked really cute in his blessing outfit.

Taylor has gotten so big! he's gone from being this little ball that just lays on the ground to this little thing that tries to crawl.

Christmas and the New Year

We went down to Utah to my parents for Christmas and it was really fun having everybody there, but it was a bit chaotic, especially with a brand new baby.  Everyone was sick and I was worried Taylor would get sick, but he was a champ and stayed healthy during our whole (extremely too long) trip.  It was a sad Christmas this year because my parents are moving to Wisconsin and they sold our house.  I think it was more sad for me then my other siblings because I grew up in that house.  Two days after Christmas the movers came to pack up the house and it was a stressful event :( No one wanted to see it all go and especially to say good bye to mom and dad.  I miss them already and it is not the same having them be so far away, but I hope to take a trip out sometime soon to see them and their new home.  But besides all the depressing stuff we had a fun time together playing games and visiting.  On new years eve we all got a hotel up in Salt Lake and spent the night pigging out and playing games.  And Jonny got in big trouble for not kissing me on the new year :) haha.

New Years day we got in the truck and drove down to Arizona, it was a long trip with a new baby! Jonny worked for his dad for two weeks while I played and relaxed.  It was fun seeing Jonny's family and showing Taylor off to everybody.  It was especially nice being in the warm weather, i'd rather be in warm weather than a cold place with NO SNOW! After our fun two weeks in the nice weather we made our way back up to Rexburg where Jonny starts an internship for Monkey Bar Storage and we kick losing weight in the butt. (we haven't lost much yet, but we're working on it).

On our long trip Taylor is growing and getting so big and playful.  He smiles and goos all day.  He started out growing the clothes I took on our trip so I had to make some new purchases.

I have been really bad about updating my blog and so much has happened.  Our perfect baby boy was born on November 8, 2011, he is truly a gift from God and I look at him everyday and think that Heavenly Father must really love me to send me something so perfect.

It wasn't as terrible giving birth as I thought it would be, but I am sure that is just because I was numb from the waist down, which was the best thing ever.  I was up all night on November 7th with contractions and finally at 4 in the morning they were 5 minutes apart.  I woke Jonny up and he was so excited to finally take me to the hospital, for the past two weeks every pain I had he would say, "the baby is coming lets take you to the hospital."  We hurried over to the hospital, which now I know I should have taken the time to do my makeup so i didn't look so dumpy. :) From than on it was a very slow process and it took 12 hours before he came.  Once I got to the hospital they made me walk around the hospital for an hour so I would dilate more and than they decided to brake my water when I was at a four.  After that I finally got a room and could "relax" as much as possible.  Unfortunately I was dilating at a very slow pace so they gave me pitocin, which made me want to die!  I was at a 7 when they finally gave me an epidural.  After that is was smooth sailing.  I didn't have to push long before our cute 7 lb. 20 in. baby came.  It wasn't till after he was here that they told me that the cord was wrapped around his neck and that is why they had to suction him out, but all was well and he got here safely.  It was an amazing experience and as soon as he came I was in love! It is a crazy experience bringing a child into the world and I understand why parents love their children unconditionally.

The first few weeks were nice because my lovely mom and mother-in-law came and helped out with Taylor.  He had pretty bad Jaundice so we had to keep him on a billy blanket for a long time, but it eventually went away and he is no longer a little umpa lumpa baby, except for the the fiery red hair of course.  He probably gets sick of how much I kiss him and stare at him, but he is the best entertainment and he's just so dang cute!

Big News

Surprise! Jonny and I are adding a new addition to the family......a new Toyota Tundra! Oh ya and we are having a baby! :) The baby is more exciting news, but Jonny is way excited to get a truck too.  The baby is due November 14, 2011, and I am 15 almost 16 weeks along.  I am only 15 weeks along and I am already to be done with the nausea and infections, I will admit that pregnancy is not too fun right now, but I am excited still.  We find out what the baby is on June 16, time has really flown by because I don't really feel like I have been pregnant long enough to know what it is.  I think knowing what it is will make it more exciting because then I can start getting ready for it.  I would like to have a boy first, but than again I would like a girl so I can dress her up with all those cute clothes and bows.  Either way I will love it the same.  Anyway that is my super exciting news besides getting a truck soon.

Back to the coldest place ever!

Its been awhile since I have had anything to write, but we've moved back to Rexburg again! (not that Rexburg is anymore exciting) We got everything moved back to its place and it feels really good to be back.  We got a bit of a shock coming back to Rexburg since Kingman was 88 degrees when we left and it was in the higher 30's when we got here.  We aren't too excited for school to start again, but at least it will be keeping us busy.

The Past Few Weeks

The first weekend in February we went to California to see Jason and Richelle's baby be blessed we had a good time walking along Huntington Beach pier and shopping on main street.

Jill and I decided to go down to Havasu and see how the progress was going on the yard.  Jonny and Whitley were doing a great job at getting the fence up.

I was looking through some creative blogs and found this cute wreath made out of burlap.  I decided to make it and I think it turned out really cute.  It only cost me $4 and gave me something to do for the past few days so I am very pleased with it.  This is the url of the blog I found it from if anyone wants to learn how to make one...http://choosetothrive.blogspot.com/2011/01/burlap-valentines-wreath-from-box-and.html

So thats a short summary of my last few weeks.  Exciting I know :)
