Good morning friends!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  Although we had some really warm weather over the weekend, we also had rain.  Perfect for staying in and getting some stamping done :-)

This little cutie is Snowball Tia and you can find her over at Some Odd Girl.  I've had her since she was first released and finally got to play with her.  It always feels so good to color an image I've had sitting around for awhile.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and added some Glamour Dust to her snowball.  I followed the sketch that is the January challenge over on the Some Odd Girl Blog.

Some Odd Girl

Hello everyone.  The weather has been great the last couple of days and I really enjoyed the weekend.  I hope yours was fabulous too.  Last month Some Odd Girl had a blog hop to celebrate Kristy's release of her new clear stamps.  Well, I was the lucky winner of all the stamps in that release!  I love the SOG images so I was thrilled to have won them.  Anyway, Some Odd Girl is having a challenge over on their blog and I thought I'd use one of my new stamps and play along. 

I used Balloon Kaylee and colored this little sweetie with copics and colored pencils.  I added some Glossy Accents to her balloon.  The challenge is to use mostly white or kraft with just 2 pops of other colors.  Well, I don't know if this qualifies as mostly white ... I just loved the two colors so much I may have added a wee bit more color than the challenge called for lol!  There's still time to enter the challenge so stop by their blog and check out all the details.

I'm Making a Scene

Hello friends.  I hope you've been enjoying this holiday weekend.  We've been having beautiful weather.  It's been extremely hot the last two days but after all the rain we've had, I'm trying not to complain about the heat lol!  I've been wanting to make one of the side-step cards that I've been seeing all over blog-land.  The challenge over at Some Odd Girls is to make a scene, so I figured this would be the perfect time to make the step card.

I used Some Odd Girl's "Smell the Flowers Tia" for my card.  Isn't she adorable?  I colored Tia with copics and colored pencils.  I used my Martha Stewart punch for the fences, and My Favorite Things die-namics for the tree, grass, and flowers.  I stenciled the clouds behind Tia.  This card was a lot of fun to work on and super easy to make.  Sorry that this picture isn't the greatest.  For some reason I had a hard time trying to get a decent photo of this card :)

Sweet Baby

Hello friends.  Did you enjoy the Tiddly Inks blog hop yesterday?  If you haven't done the blog hop yet, you can find the details if you scroll down to an earlier post.

Today I have a sweet baby and mommy card to share with you.  The image is Baby Snuggle Kaylee from Some Odd Girl.  Isn't this image precious?  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and then cut it out and popped it up on foam dots.  I used some distress inks on the doily and then added some pretty ruffled lace over my punched border.  I added a felt flower and some pearls.  Then I used a tiny little pin I've had in my stash forever to pin on the sentiment tag.

Puddle Hopping

Hello friends.  The card I'm sharing today is my first card as a guest designer for Card Cupids.  They have posted a new challenge today and they're asking you to make two-color cards.  

Card Cupids is being sponsored this week by Some Odd Girl so I got to work with one of their images.  Isn't she a cutie?  She looks like she's having so much fun splashing in that rain puddle!  This image is Puddle Hopping Tia and I used my copics and colored pencils to color her.  I used Glossy Accents on the rain puddle and added white acrylic paint polka dots to her umbrella.  I added some black ribbon and a bow, and I stamped my sentiment on a cloud.
