Well all the Christmas celebrations are over here and Instead of having a well deserved rest, I have to start packing bags. We are heading up near Deniliquin somewhere to go camping with some friends. I have a horrible feeling that it is going to be ridiculously hot so I'm just hoping that i'm wrong. We will be leaving Saturday morning so I'd better get a wriggle on.
Christmas was great as usual!! Poor Coban has been cutting his 2 bottom canine teeth and was pretty miserable for about a week. He was so over Christmas! He did score some fab presents though. Something has to be said for Grandparents that are all divorced and re-partnered. Coban was SO spoilt!!
Coban's Stash of presents
His new Art Easel from Nannles & Pop.
Daniel & I did pretty well too. He scored a heap of camping things including a yabbie net which he is thrilled about lol. He also got a big Maglite which will come in so handy when we are 4WD'ing. I got 2 bottles of perfume. 1 being the new Kylie perfume 'Darling'. Yummo!!! I also got magazine subscriptions to Scrapbooking Memories and For Keeps. Can't wait for them to arrive! A new handbag and Evermore CD from my MIL. And my gorgeous little boy gave his Mummy a Capt'n Jack Sparrow figurine. LOVELY!
My new man, I mean figurine.
My Gorgeous new handbag.

Well I have been so busy with the lead up to Christmas that I have just not had the energy to post in my poor old blog. Sorry Mum!!
I have all presents bought, made & wrapped. Phew!! I can't wait to see them all under the tree. We have Daniel's parents and their partners coming over tomorrow morning to open presents. Then I will be making pancakes for breakfast. I'm not much of a bacon and eggs kinda gal so it's pancakes or toast lol.
I baked a carrot cake yesterday so we will leave some out for Santa along with a mug of hot chocolate. I had to taste the cake first just to make sure I didn't give the poor man food poisoning before he'd finished his rounds lol. It's not bad!! Coming from the world's most hopeless cook.
All I have left to do now is make a potato salad for lunch tomorrow, pack our bags to stay at Mum's tomorrow night, fold the clothes and put them away, Iron some shirts and put all the presents under the tree. Then I can head off to bed for a sleepless night. I am such a child when it comes to Christmas.
I hope I get plenty of photos to scrap. Last year I forgot to actually press record on the video camera and the few photos I managed to get were pretty blurry :(.
I think I can do better this year.
Oh, I forgot to say that I won a $30 gift certificate to Jen Wilson's store!! It was part of the raffle we held for Michelle Conrad at DigiScrapShak. I can't wait to use it. Her stuff is unreal!!!
I have quite a few LO's to show. They have all been done in the last couple of weeks so there a number of them.

Luckiest Girl Alive!!
I feel like the luckiest girl ever!! I received my Secret Santa parcel in the mail today. I could not open it quickly enough LOL. I received two of the most beautiful things I have ever received in my life. Personally made by ~Cat~ and I LOVE them.
Firstly, a beautiful clock to put above my desk...
And lastly, this stunning canvas ...
Thank you so much Cat. You are the sweetest. *MWAH*

Hot Days!!
It has been so hot here for the past couple of days. I am well and truly over it! And with all the bushfires over Victoria, we are blanketed in smoke. It is horrible. I feel so terrible for everyone in and around the towns affected. I am hoping against hope that the rain will come and give a bit of relief.
Yesterday I met up with Rach & Clair and had such a lovely time. The kids seemed to have fun too. A bit of mud and water really kept them occupied lol. Coban spent half the time sitting in the dirt playing with sticks though. He is such a boy. Just loves to get dirty
.

Sorry I haven't got too much to say at the moment. I just can't think properly in this heat.

Charity Raffle at DSS!
At Dss, we are holding a charity raffle for one of our designers, Michelle Conrad. Unfortunatley her house was hit by a flood last month so we are trying to do something for her and her family to help them out over the holidays. Check out the full ad at DSS here.
Jen Wilson has so generously donated $500 worth of gift vouchers for her products so it is well worth checking out!!

3rd Wedding Anniversary
Tomorrow is my 3rd wedding anniversary! I am SOOOOO excited about it because Daniel & I are having dinner and then staying the night in the gorgeous hotel that we had our wedding reception in. Every year we have dinner there but we are spoiling ourselves this year!! After all that's been happening, I think we deserve it.
Coban is going to spend the night at his Grandpas and Daniel will pick him up early Thursday morning and bring him back to the hotel. We have a late checkout so we thought we could make use of the pool and everything.
I am pretty organised for Xmas this year but for some reason i feel really unsettled. Like I have a million & 1 things left to do. I really only have 2 otp projects left and 7 other pressies to buy. Although the other pressies are all going to be at least $50 each so I'd better get a move on or i will have no money!!
I am also very excited because some of the Melbourne EB scrappers are getting together on Saturday. This will be the first time that I have met any of them and I am really looking forward to it!!
That's about it from me. I have so much to do at the moment but just can't seem to motivate myself.

So much happening!
So much has happened and is still happening in my life at the moment. We went camping last weekend with some friends. We went up near a place called Rushworth in Vic. It was great to get away for a few days. It was so hot the first day, then rained on & off for the remainder of our stay. It wasn't too bad though as there was a cabin thing for us all to sleep in. We all just brought our swags in.
The weekend just gone, we headed to a school fete up the road. I am such a sucker for fetes.lol
It was the school that Daniel's step brother and sister go to so we caught up with them.
Then on Sunday we headed off to see my FIL play guitar & sing with another lady. They used to be in a band together but now it is just the two of them. It was such a glorious day. Pretty hot but there were heaps of friends and family there so it was great to catch up with them all.
We also booked a hotel room for our 3rd wedding anniversary on the 6th Dec. We are staying in the hotel that we had our wedding reception at and also having dinner in the restaurant. We have dinner there each anniversary but decided to go all out and stay the night too. FIL is having Coban for the night and Daniel has the next day off work so it should be a great night!!
Now onto digi news!!
I think I am officially booked up for CT's now! I am now on the PolkaDotPotato CT & Trish Jones' newsletter team. I was also just asked by Amy C to be on her CT!! I applied for Amy's team when she put out her call but didn't get accepted due to the fact that i'm already on the DSS CT but she emailed me yesterday asking if I would join her as she had seen my latest work!! I am so chuffed and also so busy!! LOL No time for a job now. PMSL.
Here are a couple of LO's that I have done recently.
Kit used: Fundamental Fun by Trish Jones Designs
Kleenex Crusader credits
Kit Used: Dreamy Lemonade by Summer Simmons
Sunshine Credits
Kit used: Quiet Soul by MDesigns
Morning After credits
Kit used: Brownie Points freebie by MDesigns

Busy, busy, busy
I have been trying to get on here and post for about a week now but Blogger just kept freezing on me. But i am in now so i will start by posting some LO's that i have done.
This one was for a sketch challnege at TDC. I used Faer Oak's Hopeful Harvest mini kit. Full credits can be found here.![]()
This is a LO i did using Sarah Van Dyke's Rustic Meadow kit. It is available at DSS.
Full credits can be found here.
If you are looking for really cool torn paper templates, look no further than Vickie @ DSS. She has these awesome templates for sale now for only $3.00.
Now on to some more exciting news. A fellow LisaS CT member, MiYon has started her designing career at Distressed Diva. She has such awesome kits and she is so talented. I am lucky enough to be a part of her CT so i am just over the moon right now. I have done a LO using her Creme Boolee kit. It is a fantastic kit and i loved using it. Full credits can be found here.
We are off camping on Saaturday for 4 days. I am so looking forward to it. I need to get away and not have to worry about housework. But i will miss my PC. No scrapping for 4 days will probably nearly kill me. But on the upside, I should have PLENTY of photos to work with when i get back.
I have so much cooking and packing to do before we leave though so i am going to be flat out for the next couple of days.

Well Christmas is fast approaching so it is the perfect time for Faer Oak to bring out a sensational looking new kit called Jingle Jangle. This does not contain traditional Christmas colours and I LOVE it! You can get this kit at the PBP shop.
Here are a couple of LO's i have done using this gorgeous kit.

We Finally Met!!!
Coban & I had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful Lisa today. Along with her adorable son Trent. We had such a wonderful time at the park. Lisa & I chatted away madly while the boys played & did what normal toddlers do. It took them a little while to warm up to each other but they did eventually and it was so cute! Coban managed to get himself completely filthy after playing under a tree in the dirt. They then started playing peek a boo behind the wooden table & chairs. The laughter was priceless!

They both continued playing in the garden underneath the trees and having a bit of a cuddle. Coban was so tired by then that he wanted to rest his head in Trent's lap. It was the most beautiful thing to see.
It took Coban about 2 minutes before he was fast asleep in the car. And as soon as we arrived home, he was straight into bed for a 2& a half hour nap.
Thank you for such a wonderful time Lisa. I can't wait to catch up again soon.
I managed to get a LO done after i got home too. It was for the week 6 Elsie challenge at EB.
The photos were taken today at the park. I used Tracy Blankenship's Autumn Blooms kit plus some extras. Credits can be found here.

Bugger!!
Well i have just been booted out of the Idol comp. :(
If i am perfectly honest, I expected to be out this week. I really liked my LO but i think i knew that it was not quite up to the standard!! I am a little bummed but i am so proud to have gotten to round 5. Especially considering i was in a comp with paper scrappers that are remarkably talented.
I just want to wish all the girls the best of luck for this round. Especially all my EB buddies. You girls are awesome. *mwah*
Nothing else to report really. I will be off to meet the beautiful LisaS tomorrow and i am a wee bit excited. I hope she is not disappointed by me. LOL
Here is a LO i did the other night.
It is of DS & DH's Nanna. I used the Sweet Garden kit by Beth Hesselberg- available at digiscrapshak.com.

Layout of the Day!!!
I am so excited!! I feel almost famous. LOL
I was just catching up on all the blogs i haven't read in a while and I found my double LO Watch Me Slide was Melissa G's layout of the day on the 20th Oct. Thanks Melissa. You sure made my day!!
It was my MIL's b'day yesterday and we are having some family over for dinner tonight. I have made a yummy Chocolate Swirl cake which looks fab! I can't wait to eat it. :)
I have also made a start on some OTP projects for Christmas. My EB secret santa pressie is slowly coming together. I was so nervous that i would stuff it up but so far it looks cool. I also found some cute things at the Reject Shop for my sister so i will make a start on those soon. I get to scrap with pink & lime which is something very foreign to me. LOL
I have completed my 3rd LO in the Defining Me challenge at PBP. I am a little embarrased by the photo but oh well! It was 10 years ago. Blogger won't let me upload the LO here so you will have to check it out at PBP. Also you can check out another LO i did called Concentration. I used Faer Oak's Aqaumarine Lagoon kit.
I am also in total shock that i made it through to Round 5 of Embellished Idol. I actually never expected to get past round 1 so i am so stoked! The ladies in the comp are all exceptional scrappers and i feel really priviledged to be a part of it. You can check out this rounds entries here: Embellished Idol.
And on Monday Coban & I get to meet the beautiful Lisa S and her adorable little boy in person. I am really looking forward to it as i feel like we were just meant to become friends. I hope she likes me. LOL.
Well that's it from me!! Bye.
Well that's about all i have for the moment.

I have not blogged for what seems like ages!! I apologise.
There has just been so many things going on that i just keep forgetting to get in here and post.
I am now a CT member for Digiscrapshak. YAY!!! I am having so much fun there. The community seems like a really friendly, happy bunch and i just love it. There are some really awesome new designers there too so it is truly worth checking out the shop!
Faer Oak is also having a massive sale at PBP starting 22nd October through till 31st October!!
Head over and grab some awesome bargains!! Faer has just released a new mini kit called Hopeful Harvest which is a beautiful autumny themed kit. And all her layered template sketches are available too.
I attended DebF's calendar chat & crop last night and i had such a great time. The calendar template that Deb gave as a gift is sensational. There will be many Christmas pressies made this year!! Thanks Deb. The calendar is available now at PBP.
Here is the calendar that i made:
I used the new freebie kit from Shabby Princess called Vintage Florals. It is such a gorgeous kit.
I also did a double LO the other day which was chosen as layout if the day at Clikchic yesterday.
Here it is:

Busy weekend & some news!!!
Well i have had such a full weekend. I think i need the rest of the week to catch up.
On Friday night, Mum & I went to see Daniel's gig. It was so great to catch up over a few drinks and just be US!! She stayed at our place overnight and then we went to her place in the morning.
We both had our hair cut on Saturday and I feel like a new woman!! I feel HOT! lol.
Coban had his hair cut too but he was so tired and grumpy that they didn't manage to get much cut off. His fringe is a little crooked at the moment though lol. I think that's a job for Daniel.
Sunday, we had a BBQ for Bathurst. I had a blast! I got to meet Daniel's mates new girlfriend and her 2.5 year old daughter, Fern. She is the most beautiful little thing i have met. Absolutely adorable. Coban thought she was pretty cool and tried following her around a bit. Until Fern got a bit sick of a little boy trying to hold onto her all the time lol. It was so cute.
On to some other news, I applied to be a part of the DigiScrapShak CT a while ago but missed out. I did however receive an email yesterday from Lori Briggs asking me if i would want to join the team as they have some new designers on board and need some more CTM's.
Well of course i jumped at the chance. I am going to be so busy with all my digi-scrapping and what not but what fun!! I am so thrilled to have been offered such exciting, fun positions with the CT's that i'm on. Thank you all so much!!!
And believe it or not, I made it through to round 3 of Embellished Idol! WooHoo. It is going to be so tough to get any further i think. The talent is truly amazing!!! If you haven't seen the work yet, check it out: Embellished Idol
Here is a LO i finished yesterd
ay using Faer Oak's Desert Rose kit.

Quick post & some LO's
I have been so behind in my scrapping lately but today i managed to get 4 done!! I can't believe it!! I have so many different LO's for challenges & competitions to do so i'm so glad that i got a good chunk out of the way.
Tomorrow night Mum is coming over and we are going to go and see Daniel play at the tavern near home. It is going to be so good to be able to spend time together and not have to leave at any particular time. And to enjoy a few drinks lol.
Then on Saturday Coban & I will go to her place and we are all going to get our hair cut. There is a hairdresser near her that cuts my sister's hair and they always do such a great job so we thought we might give them a go. Luckily we got an appointment within 15 minutes of each other . I'm really looking forward to it because i haven't had my hair done in ages! I'm going to feel like a new woman. LOL.
Sunday we are having a BBQ at home and watching Bathurst. Daniel has invited quite a number of his friends so they had better be motor sport fans or at least let me glue myself to the tv without interrupting me lol.
Here are the layouts that i have managed to get done.
This one is week 2 of the Elsie Flannigan 52 week challenge that we are doing at EB.
We had to use a B&W photo to tell the story.
This is a photo that i have been meaning to scrap for ages. I just love the cheeky look on Coban's face as he dips his finger into his Dad's beer. Hmm...
This is a layout that i did for Faer Oak. It is using her It is What It Is papers and Fuzzy Chipboard alpha.
And lastly, this is a layout i did for LisaS. I used her new Aubrey kit which is available at PBP.
Thanks for looking!!!
