My name is.....

Over on Lots to do we are having a swap entitled "My name is..." You have to make something with your swap buddys name on

My swap buddy is my good friend Mags. I know she likes anything Tim Holtzy so I decided to alter a photo frame I had lying around the house.
I used tea dye distress ink and covered the whole of the frame with it. I then added some of the stamps around the frame with brown corduroy distress ink. I used different papers to cover the inside of the fram and finally added the lettering "MAGS".

Hope she likes it

Torso Tags

Here are my torso tags for a swap on Lots to do hosted by Monalisa.

I wasn't sure what I was doing so decided on a colour theme for the tags.

I chose blue, green and brown. They all have 3 different backing papers, a button and a peel off or sticky ribbon. They all have the initial letter of their colour and basically anything with the colour on for each tag that I could find in my stash.

Lots to do weekly challenge - week 17 - Silhouettes

I have made a skinny for this weeks challenge which was chosen by Hilda.

I covered my skinny in backing paper and added the peel off edging. I then cut out the two silhouettes and stuck them in the centre and added the wording "young love".

ABC challenge - B - Baby

Here is my entry for this weeks challenge.

These are the skinnys I have made for the colour swap on Lots to do.

The card on the left has a reddish backing paper torn down one side, a red ribbon added and then some die cut flowers.
The centre card has a script background and a stamped label which has 3d foam under and finished off with a small gem and a red ribbon.
The card on the right has lots of different backing papers torn onto it and 2 die cut butterflies.

In what must have been a moment of madness, Andrea has decided to host a "Christmas in July" swap. ATCs, Fat Pages, Skinnys and Tags all with a Christmas theme.

I have made mine using a dark blue card and backing papers from the new range of Anitas from Docrafts. I added stamped images and snowflake embellishments all matted and layered onto silver card.

Lots to do challenge - week 16 - Travel

Mags has set the challenge for this week and has chosen Travel as the theme.

An added bonus this week - Blog Candy to be won donated by Maria at Craftaway. A fab set of stamps from woodware.

I made a skinny for this weeks challenge.

I used some Tim Holtz backing papers of old maps and edged the skinny in brushed corduroy distress ink. I then simply added the wording planes, trains and automobiles across the skinny - aging the words with the distress ink. Finally I added some metal embellishments of a plane, a train and a car.

Here are my ATCs for this months lottery draw on Lots to do hosted by Andrea.

3 ATCs is the payment and you get a chance to win all the entries for that month.

I decided to go with a theme again for this month
