Sunday Stampers - Green


Here is my entry for this weeks Sunday Stampers.


The theme is GREEN.


I got lots of different backing papere in all shades and patterns of green and then placed them all over the card. I cut some green card into a square and matted and layered a white piece onto it.

I stamped the white piece with some Tim Holtz stamps in distress inks - shabby shutters and peeled paint.

9-4-9 April - Tim Holtz Style


Over on Lots to Do its time for the 9-4-9 and this month its in the Tim Holtz Style.


Never having done any in his style before (but always wanting to) I thought I would give it a go.


I have some of his stamps so I happily stamped away!!!!! I used distress inks for everything.


I like the results, but not too sure if its in Sir Tim's style.

Purple - Wednesday Stamper


The theme for this weeks Wednesday Stamper is - "Purple".


So I have raided my stash and found lots of purple bits.


I started with purple card and then tore 3 different backing papers. I stamped the image with dusty concord distress ink onto pearlised card. I edgedthe card with the ink.


I added a purple silk flower with a purple pearl brad and coloured a happy birthday peel off purple.

Papertake Weekly Challenge - Sketch



I have made a fat page for this challenge.


I used papermania papers - exquisite collection and stamped images from the artistic stamper and crafty individuals - the inks used were distress inks in tea dye and brushed corduroy.

Tilda's template challenge



Thought I'd have a go at this template challenge.


I got some pearlised card and rounded the corners off


I then got some DCWV pocketful of posies and tore it and stuck it on the left hand side. I matted and layered Tilda with her basket and rounded off the corners.


I added a silk flower to the corner with a fancy brad.



I cut 2 pieces of card and rounded off the edge and added a mat of the backing paper, I then added Birthday Wishes and added 2 brads.

Sunday Stampers week 9 - PARTY!!!!!


I have made a tag for this weeks challenge.


I used distress inks with the harlequin background


I matted and layered a lady with brown staz on and added a paper hat that I folded into shape.


I added the birthday cake and Happy Birthday and some fibres.

Things with wings - gothic arch swap


These were done for a swap on Lots to do.


The orange one was made using distress inks and a calligraphy stamp from Crafty Individuals. I also ised some butterfly images from Crafty Individuals.


The green one was made using versa colour inks and the swirls are stamps from the basic grey range. I added some butterfly images from Crafty Individuals. I embellished with a 3d butterfly peel off and a butterfly charm.


The blue one is made with distress inks, Crafty Individuals images of angels and Crafty Individual angels stamp.

Lots to do Challenge


This is the piece I decided on for this weeks challenge.


I coloured the background with distress inks and stamped some oak leaves all around the arch. These were then coloured in using whispers pens.


I stamped the tree image from Crafty Individuals and cut the frame away.


I coloured the tree with whispers pens and then used 3d foam and placed it in the centre of the arch.

Lots to do Challenge


Here is one item I made for the very first challenge on Lots to do.


I made an ATC by stamping 3 of the same image from crafty individuals

I decoupaged and coloured them and finally added some acetate to the back of the top piece and clear embossed the frame.

4x4 Friday Leo's Ladies


Saw this challenge and just couldn't resist!!!!



I used distress inks and glimmer mist for the background.


I used my stamp from Lost Coast Designs and stamped in the middle of the page. I samped "Beauty" in the top corner. I then masked the area and stamped the background with a "crackle" stamp from Crafty Individuals.


On a separate card I used distress inks and a calligraphy stamp. I tore it to shape and stuck it to the corner.

Gothic Arch


This is my very first gothic arch.



I used distress inks for the background colour and then added glossy images of angels from Crafty Individuals.


I then stamped the Crafty Individuals calligraphy stamp Angels and distressed it with ink and glimmer mist.

2 inch Mountboard Squares - SPRING


These were made for a swap on Lots to Do that I am hosting


the criteria is:

9 x 2inch mountboard squares

Spring colours




I have used a variety of versa colour inks on the squares, mint, sage, green tea and narcissus.


I then sprayed them with olive vine glimmer mist.


I then got some of my favourite stamps and stamped them on using staz-on.

I'm a Laydee!!!!


This is my very first attempt at a blog challenge


it is for Sunday Stampers and the theme is "I'm a Laydee!!!"



I have made a tag,


Firstly I used distress inks in aged mahogany, peeled paint and broken china all blended together with cut and foam.


I then added the lady which is one of my favourite stamps from Lost Coast Designs and added the beauty stamp. I then masked the stamp and stamped the background - this is a crackle background from Crafty Individuals.


I then spritzed the tag with walnut gold glimmer mist and added some fibres.

I chose to use a time saying so I stamped the backgrounds with some clock faces and added a vellum quote

ATC Lottery


Here are my entries for this months Lottery draw - all were made using distress inks and then stamped with some of my favourite images.

Things with wings


We have a monthly fat page draw on the Lots to do forum. This months theme has been set by Hilda - she chose "Things with wings"


I chose a butterfly decoupage, a stamped and decoupaged image of a bird from Crafty Individuals and finally Tilda made an appearance
