Mothers Day

This is a card I made for my auntie for mothers day. She brought up my dad when he was only 7 as his mum died and with my auntie being the eldest she looked after the family.

I used an image from Crafty Individuals and used some papers I have had f0r a while. Hope she likes it.

Birthday card for my niece

Here is a birthday card for my niece - she will be 8 next week. Thought she would like a Tilda card.

Tilda image kindly stamped for me by my friend Andrea and coloured in with sakura pens. Background paper is from DCWV pocketful of posies.

2inch square Mountboard Swap

A while ago I took part in a swap on the Lots to do forum.

The criteria was: Mountboard in 2inch squares (9), autumnal colours.

I loved my returns and wanted to be able to display them. This weekend when I was out shopping I found an 8inch frame - it was ideal!!!!

It had a silver finish so I got my alcohol inks out and dabbed them all over it. The colours I used were teracotta and meadow.

I was really pleased with the way it turned out.

Really liked this swap, wonder if we will do any more?????

Better get some more frames - just in case.

Snowy fat pages

On the Lots to do Forum we have a monthly Fat page draw. The winner from the previous month chooses the next theme, the theme for this month is snow.

I decided to do some recycling for my pages and used some snowy images from some of the Christmas cards I received.

My New Craft Room - Almost

Here are a few piccies of my new craft room - so far!!!!!!

It has been painted and new floors put down. I am waiting for new blinds too and then of course I will want new curtains!!!!!

There are still some things to put in it but I am pleased with it so far - won't be long now before I am crafting in it.

Altered Clock Case

I bought a clock from my local supermarket. I wanted the mechanism to make a clock for a charity auction. The case of the clock was still perfect with no breakages so I just couldnt throw it away!!!!!

I used alcohol inks on the frame and distressed some of my favourite stamps. I added an altered domino and a bottlecap too. I finished it off with an initial "A", put the clear front back on and its ready to hang in my new craft room.

Floral Fat Pages

Here are my pages for a group swap on Lots to do.

The black one is an image of daisies and I just simply added brads to the centre of the flowers.

The green one is a stamped image of a poppy (I think) I coloured the card first with distress inks and then stamped the image, I then coloured the petals with sakura pens. I sprayed glimmer mist on the green card and then added the stamped image to it.

The pink one is an image of a rose simply decoupaged. Matted and layered on black card.

Hope the recipients will like them.
