If your happy and you know it......

Mason had just finished his dinner and we were about to all leave so Marcus and I could have our dinner, and Mason was just a giggling!! Since he has been staying up most of the day now he loves to play, smile and giggle. I just love it! I caught these two pictures as we were leaving and they are priceless. He is so happy....probably because his little tummy was all filled up with goods :) He also loves it when I brush his hair...what little hair he has. At 7 weeks it is just amazing how quickly they grow and change. I can't keep my eyes off of him. Next week Marcus and I are taking a little vacation and it will be hard to leave my lil guy.

Mason's Baptism

What a weekend!! Many people came from all over to witness a very speical event, Mason's baptism. He is loved by many. We were so glad we got to share this special time of his live with our friends and family. Our family is very blessed!

Favorite Places....

Mason loves to eat and eat and eat and eat!! My lil guy who weighed 6 lbs 11 ozs at the hospital now is a big boy weighing in at 10 lbs 5 ozs. He has even graduated from the newborn diapers to the size 1. I can not believe how he has change right before my eyes. I love watching him grow and change and learn new things everyday.


Mason loves to play in his crib listening to his mobile. He just stares and smiles and talks everytime he is put in his crib. Another fave of his is his changing table. He loves to lay up there and play with this little onesie outfit I have hanging from a shelf. He hits it with his hands and loves to watch is sway back and forth. He also loves to have his diaper changed. I think he loves it so much because he loves to "spray" or "squirt" us everytime we take his diaper off. Just when I think I am getting smarter than him, he does it again and just laughs. I can't help but laugh myself. I never knew that a person that little could produce that much "STUFF" in his diaper :)


It never fails. When Mason gets fussy just lay him on his daddy's chest and he is calmed. I guess my chest is not "flat" enough for him :) (not for long...I am sure soon enough I will be back down to my regular size and Mason will be able to be soothed by me!! :)

Mason also loves tummy time. He loves it when I lay him on his tummy we just lay there and play. He is so strong. Weeks ago he was able to lift his little half bald head, but now he is keeping it up for longer and turning it from side to side. One day sooner than later he will be bigger and stronger than me....what will I do! (Look at those big blue eyes...they melt my heart)

One Month Old

WOW!!! Time sure does fly. I can't believe my lil guy is a month old today. It seems like a while ago I gave birth, but it seems just like yesterday I was bringing him home from the hospital. Being a mom has been wonderful. I see him change daily. It is amazing to watch him look and learn new things around him and smile at us. Marcus is such a wonderful dad. Watching them together is awesome. I love my two men!!
We went to the doc the other day due to reflux and an upset tummy and they weighed Mason in. He was 7lbs 6ozs at his 2 week appointment and when we went in around 3 1/2 weeks he weighed 9lbs. WOW!! My boy is not so little anymore. The doc said he gained 2 pounds in almost 2 weeks which was a lot. They are supposed to gain 1/2 a pound a week. I guess I have a little pig on my hands. All in all he is very healthy and a very happy little one. I could not ask for more.

(we do party at around 2:30 and then again at 6:30...so if anyone is awake at that time don't hesitate to call :) This collage is a group of pictures we had taken professionally on Friday. We took so many great pictures it will be hard to choose which ones we will order. While we were taking the pictures.....Mason was nude and what do little boys do when the cold air hits their lil pee pee....Well you guessed it he tee teed all over his mom. I am used to it now. Mason doesn't go to the bathroom until his diaper is off. He loves to aim for his own eye or mine :)

There is a little glare on one of the pictures because I had to take a picture of the computer to share the collage. I just love his little profile. He does have his mom's nose. (Sorry little buddy!!)
