Devastated

The inevitable news finally came last night. A call from her daughter informed us that my bro-in-law's mum has passed away. Even though the doctor has advised everyone to be prepared, the news still come as a shock and disbelief. Even the 6 year old niece succumbed to tears.

I'll never forget how you used to give me unique amount of money during Hari Raya when I was younger.
I'll never forget how your chocolate chip cookies are one of the best I have ever tasted.
I'll never forget how you always tell my mum to give the food, delicacies, chocolates etc. to me whenever she met her or came over to our house.

You may no longer be with us physically to witness the marriage of your daughter and the birth of your grandchild this year but we believe that He loves you more and you have moved on to a better place where you are released from your sufferings.

You may forget certain things in life. But you will never forget the kindness shown to you by someone.

May your soul rest in peace.
