CM1111!!

 

Damn it! Inorganic Chemistry was a killer paper!! Arrggghhhhh!!! Don't know how many marks I've lost!!

Most of what I've studied didn't came out! Or maybe I didn't study hard enough.. hmmm.. Maybe will get a C, or even a D!! I'm pretty scared I'll fail man!! @^%&$*$%^&@!!!!

Nvm, 2 more papers to go. Geog tmr and another killer maths paper on monday! Darn!

1 week war!!

 

I hereby declare that my exam week open! hahahaa.. Oh yeah, today marks the start of the week long examination for me! Had my first paper today and phew, I'm glad it wasn't that difficult. Managed to finish the questions when I initially thought I couldn't. Let's not talk about scroring, I'm just glad it's over. Alhamdulilah...

That being said, the most challenging day has to be this friday where I'll be having 2 papers in 1 day!! I do not know whether I can survive but I just can't wait for them to be over! hahaa... After that, 2 papers in 3 days and then BOOM! Time to party!! LOL

Temptations

 

Oh no, new seasons of Heroes, as well as Prison Break (Yes, I just come to know that it has restarted.. I know I'm wols! lol), are waiting to be viewed by me!!! Not forgetting my weekly doses of Bleach!! But I can't spend my time watching them cos of exams!! Arrghhhh, sometimes though, it's just too tempting!! Damn!!

Oh, I saw the trailer for the upcoming movie, 'Quarantine', and it seems like a good movie! From what I know it's a remake from the original spanish horror movie titled, REC which was screened last year. But since I never saw it before, I reckon this should be a pleasant movie for me to watch! It opens next week on the 27th, fyi! And my exams finished 4 days after! Woohooo!!

Saw a few faces these few days which are reminscent of the people that I know but have not seen for a while. Somehow, seeing the 'familiar' faces brought back memories I had with each individual, be it happy or sad ones. Maybe it's just a coincidence. Or maybe I am missing them... hmmm...

Fear

 

Darn! I shouldn't have belittled what nature can do! I should have taken the bus yesterday instead of walking though the rain and getting myself all wet. Now, I'm been having a very bad headache all over(my head) since yesterday night!! Slept very early last night because of it, but unfortunately I'm still not cured yet!! Arrgghh, I cannot afford to fall sick now! I have my last lecture later and exams are just around the corner!!! NO!!!

SEPI (2008)

 

Just finished watching this malay movie, Sepi, and boy, this is really a GOOD movie!! One of the best malay movie I've ever seen. I was hooked for the entire 2 hours period of the movie. The casts are star-studded which include Afdlin Shauki, Vanida Imran, Nasha Aziz, Tony Eusoff and many more.

The structure of the movie follows much like, Crash (2005), but in this case there are three individuals in the city learning the meaning of love, loss and loneliness. Adam, a successful young chef, creates confectionery masterpieces for weddings, yet has still to find his own bride. Then there is Sufi, who each day runs for miles in an attempt to outrun the memories of his dead wife. Finally, there is Imaan, a young playwright who discovers that theatre is a stage of where her past is finally resolved and her future is unveiled. All three strangers are inevitably linked to a single dramatic moment that transforms their lives forever. [adapted from yahoo movies]

What made it a great movie for me was that the plot(s) are so freakingly touching that they touched my raw nerves, not once, not twice but several times throughout the movie!! There's a few twists here and there too which made it further interesting! I'm not sure whether it has came out/will come out in singapore though, cos I'm not that familiar with the malay movie industry.. hahaa.. but it's a highly recommended movie if you've havent watched! Just prepare a couple of tissues though, just in case.. haha..

Thank God It's Friday!

 

Yeah, it's the weeeeekends!!!! WooohOoo~!~! Finally, I am able to breathe some air before the exam hurdles! YeaH! Hopefully, I can rest a bit during these few days cos I've been feeling very tired due to the freaking amount of stress/workload! Feeling lethargic also meant that I've been falling asleep sooner than usual and that in turn meant that I've not been able to do much of my tutorials, much less any revision. I'm hoping this short 'let-off' can freshen me up and make me ready for my exams!! =)

Had my last lab practical today and boy, was it one of the most tiring I've ever done. So many things to do within that 3 hours. The rush also made me misinterpret the procedures and made me unintentionally lost part of my sample. Oops! And that made me have to redo the parts again! Arrgghh!! It's okay, no more practicals..... for 2 months!!! hahahaa..

After the pract, together with Zhi Yong, went to meet with our 2 seniors, Samantha and Yiting, to discuss about our geography practical questions. Out of the 3 hours plus, I think we only had serious discussions for 1/3 of that period! But it's okay, at least better than nothing right? hahaha... So what did we spend on for the other 2 hours?? Well, browsing through friendster, facebook and of course, our usual nonsense talking! hah.. And oh, we also did some camwhoring!! hahaaa... I think those lots of people who have walked past our area must have been wondering, "What are these 4 jokers doing?" LOL... What can I say, this is one of the ways for us to destress!!! hahahaaa....

Ahh, I'm feeling so tired now, especially after the late late evening lunch (or is it a snack?) at McDonalds at the Engineering Faculty. And boy, was I full that time with an 'upsized' amount of fries! hahaa... Working hard towards a meatier me!!! lol

Moving..

 

When one hell week is over, another hell week comes by! Arrgghh, I can't wait for 1st December to come where I'll be having my last exam paper and I'll be free.... for one month! haha.. Well, one month of freedom is at least better than muggings, assignments, projects, tutorials right? lol.. Can't wait for that day to come man, I feel so drained now!

Went back to my alma meter, SP, recently to visit some of my lecturers. Had some surprises when some of them actually still do remember me. And what is more shocking to me is that the curry puff seller at FC 1 remembers me too! That was really a present surprise!! hehe.. Anyway, was given some advices from the lecturers regarding my studies and I'm thankful for that. And no matter how the school has changed over the years, the memories I had there will never changed. I'm really missing those days I had with my classmates and friends. Gosh, I'm feeling so nostalgic!

Went to Carousel again with family during the Deepavali holiday to have high-tea. There were lots of people there as usual. There were still lots of food to eat but it seems that the variety has decreased. There seems to be more kinds of food during our first visit. Nevertheless, we ate till we were full and as usual for me, having a 'small stomach', I was the first to 'give up'.. Haiz, I wish I have a larger stomach to fill and that I don't get full that easily.. haha..

This first leg of the race is finishing soon. And like what one of my SP lecturer told me, I must not give up! The fact that I'm able to enter the uni, while others fail, means that I can do it! For that, I shall not give up! Come on Fandi!
